To Captain Sparkwire and the Lieutenants of Cobalt Company,

I conducted an irregular field interview with a pandaren applicant, Peixin Goldensprout. Due to current operational pressures in Pandaria, I made the decision to move alone rather than delay for a second officer. Full responsibility for that call rests with me.

Goldensprout is a local to Pandaria with skills as a scout and light combatant, and she possesses strong familiarity with the terrain and its people. While she lacks formal experience operating within a structured unit, she has demonstrated competence in independent travel, survival, and combat, with a preference for restraint rather than unnecessary lethality.

Her disposition is highly social and informal, though she appears cooperative and responsive to direction. Her stated motivations are to aid Pandaria and Alliance efforts, as well as to pursue eventual entry into the Shado-Pan.

Her strengths lie in her local knowledge, adaptability, and likely positive impact on small-unit morale. Concerns include her lack of squad experience, tendency toward informality, and mild discomfort with undead, including allies such as the Ebon Blade, though she did not express refusal to work alongside them.

She has reviewed and signed the Company Code of Conduct, expressed understanding of the chain of command and expectations of discipline, and reported no criminal record or outstanding legal issues.

I recommend her acceptance into Cobalt Company pending standard officer confirmation. I further recommend initial assignment under my supervision for integration and evaluation in the field. She will remain in the area awaiting word.
