Sorry. I asked Hana to look after you before you said not to. She wrote back saying she will keep an eye out for you ‘regardless of what Finley wants,’ her words. Maybe she already knew you didn’t want her to. Hana can be stubborn.

You’re right. I do not feel needed. Maybe that’s the difference between me and Hann. But Hann was a soldier once, too. I don’t wish for war, but now it is here and I want to do something. I can do something.

I trust Fallon and Her Grace to handle the situation with the MacBrides. They are wise and capable, and if they call for my help, I will come. If you ask for my help, I will come also. I hope Isla and Otto aren’t scared, and I’m glad you are better. You can tell me if you’re not, even if the pain is inside, not out. Sometimes getting hurt does that.

Fredrica is quiet, and timid, and skilled. I like her. Running away from social gatherings seems like something she would do.

You can tell Her Grace we are improving a scouting instrument called Unit 833713, which is numbers for BEETLE. It’s not very mobile right now, but we can use it to see our nearby surroundings so we aren’t ambushed. The battery needs improvement, but it can fly.

Lathrik and Natalyah don’t want me to talk to Ilanya because she was stalking Lathrik. They don’t like Count Amerith, and she reports to him. Reniya likes her. I don’t know if I should, but I think I do. She tried to help me and Ren.

My birthday is April 4th.
