Dear Cobalt Company and Associates:
As we come into Winter Veil season, our squads will be taking a well-deserved break. We have made so much progress in Pandaria, learning about the locals and the difficulties they face. I’m also pleased to report there’s been only minor conflict with the Horde since the Jade Forest – I hope that our war will bring no more destruction to Pandaria’s shores.

Company News
After assisting in the evacuation and working to defend Stoneplow, our White Squad learned of the whereabouts of the Hidden Master that their colleagues from the Tian Monastery had been seeking. Perhaps I will not say where, because I am of the impression that seeking him out is a test in itself. Our team went to him with Lin Tenderpaw and were accepted as students. I’m pleased that our team was recognized by one of the greatest martial artists in Pandaria, and I hope that his teachings and his esteem will serve them well as we continue our work in the continent.
Blue Squad moved north to assist Stoneplow after White Squad departed for the Hidden Master. At this time, the mantid launched an unexpected major offensive, with a large number of soldiers and a massive creature that shattered the wall. Hints of a sha tied with fear have been detected in the soldiers, which may explain the untimely nature of the attack – they are early by some centuries, the pandaren say. I am pleased to report that, together with the allies White and Blue Squad have made along the way, we repelled the attack and blocked the gap in the wall with the massive creature’s body.
The mantid swarm seems to have fallen back for now, but it is clear that vigilance will be needed along the western wall. I expect there will be a continuing need to defend against small raiding parties, as there was prior to the major attack.
