Dear Lord Cecil,

Thank you so much for your kind letter. As you can likely guess, I have had some help writing this one, though I was able to read yours on my own with a bit of work. Lady Merelda helps me with my correspondence while I'm learning proper penmanship, and even if she has to read your letters to me, it's safe. She is a worgen and a druid as well, though of noble blood, and she is the one trying to help me to better myself. She was my guardian growing up, and I have no secrets from her.

I'm glad I made your night happier. I enjoyed meeting you as well. I apologize for assuming you couldn't hear. I knew a girl and her family in Gilneas who used hand signs, and it was because she and her father couldn't hear. She could read lips well, and she could talk, though I didn't always understand her. Her father didn't talk, at least not to me.

I'm glad I didn't upset you, turning into a worgen. I can't help it, when I get scared or upset. It's actually my natural form now. I can be a human when I choose, but I have to work at it a little, most of the time. It was hard to keep that form and also remember all the things I had to say and not say, and not rub my eyes even though they itched terribly. I don't think I will try to go to a gala like that again anytime soon.
