The Forsaken, sin’dorei, and goblin vessels remain at Northwatch. A separate, second fleet of orcish vessels has appeared along the coast and is bearing for Theramore. There are at least eight ships, led by the warchief’s flagship Blood and Thunder. We believe they may have been lying in wait among the islets off the northeastern arm of Dustwallow.

At present they have not yet left Horde waters.

The 7th Legion ships are due to arrive tomorrow and are under instructions to move directly into place north of Theramore Isle to blockade the Horde vessels from approach. Per Lady Jaina’s request, all other ships in the area are to begin evacuating civilians.

General Jonathan himself is aboard the 7th Legion’s Spirit of Tiffin, having volunteered to His Majesty for Theramore’s defense. We are informed that General Tiras’alan of the Shattered Sun Offensive and General Shandris Feathermoon of the Sentinels are also en route, and that Lady Jaina has petitioned the Kirin Tor for aid.

In a piece of glad news among the grim, we’ve learned that Admiral Aubrey somehow survived Northwatch. It seems the Horde left him for dead long enough that he was able to make an escape during their victory celebrations.

Well those were bloody long odds, weren’t they? Bit careless on Hellscream’s part. Aubrey’s got a cat’s luck. Let’s hope Theramore’s got the same.

If His Majesty doesn’t intend to dispatch the navy for blockade or battle, are we authorized to participate in the civilian evacuations?

FROM: Grand Adm. Jes-Tereth

I believe only Fallon has a ship in the area at the moment. We do have naval supply contractors at Theramore who will join the evacuation efforts.

Congratulations, Stonehull, on having written a memo in poorer taste than Fallon might have.

I personally am heartened by word of Aubrey’s providential survival.

I will pass word to Captain Reeve that the Achillea is to begin embarking civilians for safe passage to Stormwind immediately.

You write as cleverly as you sail.

He named his flagship Blood and Thunder? Are those the only two words in the orcish language?

Bit of poor taste for the 7th Legion to name theirs for the King's late wife, isn't it?

FROM: Adm. Fallon
TO: Adms. Cantlebree, Rogers, Stonehull, Taylor

Do you mean Her Majesty, our late Queen? Forgive me if I fail to see the poor taste in that.

I also note that His Majesty himself named the ship.

Careful, Cantlebree, Fallon's touchy about ships named for wives and mothers.

Please remove me from further correspondence in this chain. Some of us have actual work to do.
