Captain Reeve,
As grieved as I am by our terrible losses, I am relieved beyond measure to hear of the ultimate survival of yourself and some others. From yesterday evening, we believed the battle a total loss. It was a very long night, and your letter this morning was a welcome light on the horizon.
Your news regarding the Horde shamans is deeply troubling and will be conveyed to the appropriate authorities. Your recommendation regarding the commendation of our own shamans for their service has also been duly noted and will be followed through.
The Admiralty has provided a letter of credit which I enclose herewith for your use in the repair and resupply of the Achillea. Make whatever repairs you deem necessary to make her seaworthy, and we will see her refinished by Fallon shipwrights upon your safe return to Stormwind.
I would be obliged if you could provide me with a roster of the surviving crew at your earliest convenience; I will have official condolences to convey on behalf of the rest.

In view of these recognized qualities and Lieutenant Reeve’s demonstrated exceptional mission dedication, Lieutenant Reeve is therefore promoted to the rank of CAPTAIN, effective immediately, by authority of the Stormwind Admiralty and His Majesty King Varian Wrynn.
By order of Admiral Fallon, he is assigned full command of the vessel Achillea, her officers and crew.
