Northwatch Hold has fallen to the Horde. It is reported a total loss.

Please prepare condolences to the families of Captain Breen, Captain Doulton, and the full crews of the Aconite and Achillea, as well as to Rosilla Aubrey, Adm. Aubrey’s widow. Do not yet send any.

If rumor has reached Fallon Harbor and families begin inquiring at the house, tell them that we have confirmed the fall of Northwatch but that I remain tonight in the city with the Grand Admiral awaiting more specific news and numbers.

Do not convey any expectation on my part. Offer sympathy rather than optimism.

I could not entrust this grim task to any lady but yourself, but I am grieved that I must.

I will advise in the morning with any further updates.
