I was going to just write the words that came directly into my mind when I was reading your letter, but I would hate for someone to find this and think I’m not ladylike and proper.

Then again, I’m not ladylike and proper. What the fuck.

An Old God creature better not digest you, or it’ll find out fast that it digested the wrong warlock’s fiance. Not to say I’d kill an Old God single-handedly, but then again maybe I would. I hope Fallon agrees to officiate our wedding, because I feel sure he is not going to turn into a tentacle monster. We are also not hiring that bard, just saying. As for the rest, yes, I agree to your veto on Old Gods.

Speaking on that, I never got eaten by an Old God creature before, but I have got them trying to mess with my mind a number of times. The blood has a lot of effects, or at least it did for Yogg-Saron. That’s what we call saronite, actually, it’s Old God blood. If any of your team want to talk with someone else who’s been through the Old God wringer, you can point them at me. Though, of course, one of those times I got messed up was with Dane in Northrend, so you’ve all got him as a reference. That might be why he seemed alright.

The time with Dane, we were in a strike team down in the Nerubian kingdom. It made us each see our own allies trying to kill us, and we had to fight them off. I was pretty shook after that one, but we got through. It might have been something like that trapping all of you in the shared nightmare, trying to scare you or distract you while it ate you.

But the point is, please, please, never listen to anything that speaks at you inside your own head. I’m serious. You’ve got to know your own voice, so you can pick it out when it happens. Some people don’t, and that’s one way it gets you.

Anyway, that was maybe a lot more than you wanted to read on Old Gods after living through all that, so onto troll business. Fallon seems a little happier with something at hand to do, even though we’ve not seized any Zandalari ships yet. He ran into a group of Cobalt down in Booty Bay who had sort of a tangled story about working with other trolls to stop Gurubashi trolls getting resurrected, which they were successful at in part. A baby raptor comes into it somehow, though I wasn't completely clear on that part.

Then, of all things, the Darkspear trolls sent an emissary to Stormwind. Yes, the Horde Darkspear. Reckon they figured there was a big enough problem that it was worth risking getting blown out of the water to warn us. They say the problem is that the Zandalari are trying to rebuild the old troll empire and take over the world. That is going to have to be addressed, but not by one ship.

So I guess in some ways I’m not having that much of a better time? No getting digested and no nightmare weddings, but the trolls are setting up to be a long-term problem at a time we really don't need yet another war. We’ve done probably about as much as we can patrolling the coast, so I ought to be heading back up to Fallon House in a few days more. And the highlands not long after that, I hope. If any more Old God creatures come after you all, I want to be there to help in the defense.

Yours,
Lena
