There is a portal. We contributed to opening it, in fact. That was the part with the water elementals. I would say I think it’s a fine idea for you to come up here because they can use more experienced people on the ground, but maybe I just think it’s a fine idea for you to come up here. You ought to try out the portal, at the very least, since we helped make it and someone who knows that can appreciate our handiwork. And I’ll tell you about the turtle.

The orcs continue to be a daily problem but Highbank’s holding its own now. I like to think we’re becoming a daily problem for the orcs.

That fortress of theirs up the coast is a monster. Either the Dragonmaw built it and the Horde just piled into it or the Horde’s been here a hell of a lot longer than we knew. I’ve offered twice to scout the place but they haven’t taken me up on it. I suspect they think that no matter what I find out about it there’s no way we’re going to breach it with the force we’ve got.

Which is correct. Doesn’t mean we couldn’t make a little trouble for them here and there.

I can mention to Atley that you’re coming if you think it would be awkward for him but I doubt there’s much the man finds awkward. Or maybe it’s hard to tell. He’s not much for talking.
