Wow, this is f – this is amazing. I don’t know why I never thought of this. Like, I used to know some people who used crystals for communication, but I think they mostly took them from – uh, anyway, it’s not like anybody ever gave me one. And this is different, because it’s a robot.

You’re a good friend. I thought I should probably try this first on you, so you’ll have to write back to me.

That is, I guess you don’t have to. But I hope you do.

When would be a good day to come visit you? I look forward to asking more questions, and answering yours.

Could I meet your other friends, too? Like Lathrik… Ren…? Do they like dancing? Or we could talk about theatre. Or uh… I don’t know… what do guards usually like? Weaponry? Investigative tactics?

Also, if you think they wouldn’t want to meet me, that’s fine too.

And don’t worry, I always assume there’s somebody reading my mail somewhere along the route, so I never record any secrets. That is, unless I put them there intentionally for the spies or whoever to have a fun time figuring out.
