Dear journal,

I understand better now why air is my favorite element. Its temples are beautiful, and I felt as confident as ever, floating from one building to another, carrière by a strong wind. It reminded me of one of the missions I did, back at the Azuremyst Isles where I climbed up a mountain for a reconnaissance mission, and then climbed down, carried by another shaman’s call for a tornado. Being carried by the wind… it's soft, it's comforting, it feels like home.

The downside of our expedition is that we didn't get to stop Al’akir, so for as long as we haven't, the elemental plane of air will never be warm and welcoming to us… which is a shame, because Miss Cress liked it very much. We need to make it so, for her. From what I've learned, I'm sure Mr. Sil would agree, eh!

Speaking of Miss Cress. I find her fighting style very pleasing to look at; so much so that she's inspired me how to channel lighting beautifully. The way she throws an ice lance is so elegant, I knew I had to learn to do shit like that. I've learned to channel thunder into a lance I can throw at my enemies! I hope she noticed I tried to add some of her style to my own fighting. And no, Mr. Dane’s sword was not an inspiration as well.

Anyway, I will soon go to our next mission.
