I said last time we were going to have to leave Deepholm, but surprise! Therazane decided she likes us! I mean, I don’t want to build a summer home there or anything, but it’s really cool we get to come back sometimes and help. I think she was happy about how we helped defeat the Twilight’s Hammer and help the shamans fix up the World Pillar. I feel like she could’ve been more appreciative of the shamans, but I guess the Stonemother’s gonna do what the Stonemother wants.

Anyway, it’s been a few weeks since then, and things have continued to get more and more exciting! I went to Remembrance Day, but this year I got to go to the special reception at the keep where the nobles and the royalty shouted at each other! I also got to meet Cressidha’s parents, who were both really nice. Sometime soon, I’m going to go visit the vineyards and the winery with Cressidha’s father - that’s an interest I haven’t had a chance to pursue in years. Also, the Twilight’s Hammer tried to assassinate the king, but it’s fine, he’s okay.

In other news, I’m really not sure what to suggest as a nickname for Cressidha. I want it to be something she’ll like, something that’s special, even if it ends up just being a thing to use when we’re in private. A diminutive, like Cressie, maybe? Or something more about her, like a flower name. Icecap? Icecaps are pretty - they grow up in the north of Kalimdor. Icethorn sounds a little too negative, and also it grows in Icecrown, which is not what I want her to be thinking about when I call her a pet name. Hm, I see another problem. I meant ice as a reference to her magic, but she might take it as a comment on her manner - I like her manner, I don’t mean to call her icy. I’ll keep thinking. It should be something cute, but not something that’ll make her embarrassed to be called.

So anyway, love is an adventure, but so is going with the girl you love to a newly-opened titan-worked region full of predator-cat centaurs. Being in Cobalt Company is just fantastic that way. As you might guess, that means I’m on squad again! And this time we’re not fighting a war in Northrend! Instead maybe we’re fighting a war in Uldum, but I’m hoping more for making friends with the tol’vir and seeing cool stuff. I’m with Sir Atley and Cole again too, but also Azizia! The only time I worked with her before is Zul’drak, though we do seem to give each other Winter Veil gifts on the regular. I brought along my ornamental daggers, just in case we need to make a good impression somewhere that doesn’t need combat.

Moving on, to get to Uldum, Ben’s team got sent to the same caravan as Sir Atley’s and we ended up traveling together. I think Ben and them were like… students or something? Anyway, Bran was there too, which is great to see him back out in the field and sketching after Deepholm. I think all the conflict got to him there. I hope the whole Neferset-attacking-Ramkahen situation doesn’t put him off Uldum. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Before we met any of those tribes, we were tranquilized by pygmies.

I’m guessing the pygmies were in the employ of the Neferset, or maybe they’re just general troublemakers like kobolds and the Neferset took advantage of it. Not sure why they didn’t just kill us, but it means we got to find out they’re allied with Deathwing, save a prince, and make new allies, so that went well! Except Cressidha was sore about it. I don’t think she has the knack of failing yet, or of figuring out how to roll easily with a fail into a win later down the road. It makes sense, she doesn’t really fail much, because she’s amazing. But everyone does sometimes. And really, our failing one objective (protect caravan) shifted pretty quick into succeeding in the next objective (making allies before the cult or the Horde), so I don’t think we have anything to be ashamed about.

Stay tuned, whatever future people are reading my journal! I will have more to say soon, both about our new allies the Ramkahen and also what nicknames Cressidha might like!
