Devon Tennerow Sir Elohad Ference Admiral Siamus Fallon

Gentlemen -

My path has led me in similar directions, so allow me to describe my findings before we begin to duplicate work. I spoke with General Marcus Jonathan, who as you recall spent considerable time looking for the King during the incident. I regret to inform you both that the military had less of a presence in the city than has been usual in previous years, due to the ongoing conflict with the Horde. At the moment, an unfortunate amount of our resources have been tied up in Kalimdor - Theramore and the nearby Barrens, most particularly - where the General says he has received reports of an imminent Tauren offensive. Thus, I have little coverage to add to the reports of the Stormwind guard from the side of the military.

However, General Jonathan did consider the angle you raise, that something might be done with the bodies of the eleven cultists who ambushed His Highness and Prince Anduin. He had dispatched army medics to the morgue immediately, to ensure that this did not happen. Regrettably, supposedly due to a clerical error, ten of the eleven bodies had already been cremated prior to identification. This seems remarkably convenient on behalf of the Twilight’s Hammer cult, as I am certain you will agree.

The medics interrupted this work before the last body could be disposed of - a young human woman by the name of Cassalind Bonds. From further inquiries, it has been determined that she was a Lordaeron native, residing in Stormwind City since the fall. She lost a father and brother early in the Northrend campaign, in service to the throne, and has no living family. She was reported as a person of interest regarding the Twilight’s Hammer cult and was under intermittent observation, but had been deemed no immediate threat.

I have enclosed her last known address. She has also been observed recently in the company of a draenei woman whose cult affiliation is unknown. By the memory of workers in the morgue, there were no draenei among the attackers. Thus, this may be an active lead to pursue.

Respectfully,
Lord Devon Tennerow
