Lena dear,

It must be some important business if you would steal me away from Tol Barad, but to put you at ease, I am not currently fighting there. Has my absence from the foray into the Plane of Water truly spread so far as to have reached you? It seems I will have to work harder on my altruism so that any illnesses as you put it, are not noted as keenly.

I thank you for the invitation to tea, however I must ask, does our mutual acquaintance the Vice Admiral plan on joining us? If you could tell me that much, I will come whatever the answer — I simply wish to be prepared for what manner of business I am visiting for. As a friend. I’m sure you understand.
