Arric Falrevere Bertrand Aspenwood Kenelly Ashewood Slicket Throttleblast

[Arric]: Lady Kenelly!

Arric grins and waves.

Kenelly perks into a bright smile. "Lord Arric!"

Arric bows before Kenelly.

[Kenelly]: How wonderful to see you again.

Kenelly curtsies before Arric.

[Arric]: I can't wait to meet the rest of the team.

Kenelly gasps softly. "Are you to join our efforts here?"

[Arric]: I am! I suppose you didn't see the letter? It was only sent out this morning.

[Kenelly]: Oh, perhaps not. I haven't checked my post yet. I've been terribly busy with my worgen project.

[Kenelly]: In any event, I'm happy you've come. Westfall needs all the help it can get.

[Arric]: So I can see… *his eyes go wide, and then he shakes his head in disbelief.*

[Birdie]: Hey!

[Kenelly]: It's one of the reasons I'm trying to put this worgen project together quickly. I think I can use it to gather more harvest-witches to come help.

[Kenelly]: Birdie!

[Arric]: Lord Bertrand!

Kenelly curtsies before Arric.

[Kenelly]: Look who's come to help us!

Birdie grins and waves.

Arric bows before Slicket.

[Arric]: Oh drat, I forgot to get myself a Cobalt Company tabard!

[Slicket]: Birdie, Nelly, hi! And the new guy!

[Arric]: And Mr. Throttleblast. So delighted to be here with you today.

[Kenelly]: And here's Slicket! Has anyone seen Glyphe or Natlee?

[Arric]: Yes, you can call me Arric.

[Slicket]: Arric, alright.

[Slicket]: Natlee is not gonna make it. That is, I hope she'll make in general but not today.

[Arric]: Oh dear! Is she injured?

[Slicket]: She wouldn't even see me, because she said she was contagious. I reminded her I ate the mud pie, but still. Some kind of… cough thing?

[Arric]: I was looking forward to meeting a gnome priestess! I didn't even realize there was such a thing. We don't have them in Kul Tiras. That I know of.

[Arric]: I hope she is feeling well soon.

[Birdie]: Hope she gets well soon.

Arric smiles at Bertrand.

[Slicket]: Oh, she's been in Kul Tiras before. So you've had them. From time to time.

[Kenelly]: Poor dear.

[Arric]: Oh really? I must meet her then!

Kenelly brushes her hands down her dress. "I was so hoping to see her today…."

[Slicket]: Oh yeah, Kul Tiras was like, one of her stomping grounds. That and Kezan.

[Arric]: Fantastic! I'll be sure to arrange a meeting soon.

[Slicket]: I'll pass on all your well-wishes. Bet that'll perk her up.

Arric looks to 'Lord Bertrand', seeming to presume his leadership of the group.

[Kenelly]: Perhaps…mention to her that I wore a dress. Casually. Tell her casually, I mean.

Arric eyes Kenelly's dress, then seems to realize that is impolite and stops.

[Slicket]: Oh sure, I'll tack that on there. *Slicket looks at Kenelly, a little puzzled*

[Kenelly]: Just don't tell her I said to tell her, though.

[Slicket]: Right, right. I can be subtle. Subtle is my middle name.

[Arric]: Slicket Subtle Throttleblast!

[Slicket]: I actually don't have a middle name, so that's like, so subtle it's invisible.

Kenelly giggles.

[Birdie]: Cute dress, Nelly.

Kenelly bobs a little curtsey to Bertrand. "Thank you!"

[Birdie]: Okay, so, Marshal Stoutmantle is expecting us.

[Slicket]: Right, let's not keep him waiting.

[Arric]: Right-O!

[Arric]: …Which one is Marshal Stoutmantle…?

Birdie salutes Marshal Gryan Stoutmantle with respect.

[Kenelly]: The one with the very impressive pauldrons.

Marshal Gryan Stoutmantle says: Ah, good, Cobalts. I wanted to catch you up. SI:7 has been tracking Helix Gearbreaker since you found that note a couple weeks ago. The letter I received from Master Shaw says he sent an Agent Kearnen here.

[Slicket]: The guy with the big…. yeah that.

[Slicket]: Alright. This Kearnen somewhere in town?

Kenelly gives Ripsnarl a nervous side-eye.

Birdie nods. "Agent Kearnen," he repeats. "Have you heard anything from them?"

Marshal Gryan Stoutmantle says: A couple of hours ago Kearnen came into town for supplies and mentioned she'd be near Mortwake's Tower. Do you know where that is?

Kenelly murmurs, "Be careful, Lord Arric. Don't get too close." She points to the worgen in stocks.

Slicket glances at the humans. They know things.

[Birdie]: I know there's a tower to the southeast? Near the gnolls.

Arric has been staring wide-eyed at the worgen this entire time.

[Birdie]: That the one?

Marshal Gryan Stoutmantle says: Yeah, near the Dust Plains.

Marshal Gryan Stoutmantle says: You should be able to catch up with her there.

Slicket tries to knee Arric subtly to stop him staring. It would hit somewhere midcalf.

Arric does at least look at Slicket in puzzlement, which is … not staring at the worgen.

[Birdie]: Yessir.

Marshal Gryan Stoutmantle says: Thanks again. Good luck.

Arric bows before Marshal Gryan Stoutmantle.

Slicket salutes Marshal Gryan Stoutmantle with respect.

Birdie salutes and turns to head out.

[Arric]: I hope none of you are afraid of wolves?

Kenelly chuckles.

[Arric]: … Oh.

Arric turns very red.

[Slicket]: I'd say not. Given current company.

[Arric]: Uhm… I'll be right back, then.

[Kenelly]: Any worry I had about wolves is ancient history.

[Birdie]: I have a healthy respect of any wild animal with teeth and claws.

Slicket looks around for Birdie's birdie.

Arric returns with a wolf.

[Arric]: This is Stormy, everyone. She's completely under my control, have no fear.

Kenelly gasps. "Oooh, she's beautiful!"

[Arric]: Isn't she?

[Slicket]: Pleased to meet you, Stormy!

Arric beams at the wolf, but doesn't pet her. She doesn't seem really pettable, just this side of untamed.

[Kenelly]: May I offer her some meat?

[Arric]: Of course. Just… mind your hands.

[Birdie]: Annuvin is…

Birdie looks up. He finally spots the stormcrow in a tree and whistles.

Annuvin swoops down towards the group and flies in a little circle around them.

Arric's wolf narrows its eyes at the sight of the stormcrow. Arric snaps a word at her in some other language, and she subsides from Hunt Mode.

[Slicket]: So also, good to note, we're not mentioning the W word with Nelly in town. Since they've got their own W who's a criminal.

Kenelly nods. "Thank you. I appreciate it."

[Arric]: …Ohhhh.

Arric's eyes go wide.

Stormy glances at Arric. Arric says another word in that foreign language, and Stormy eats the jerky ravenously.

Kenelly smiles, and refrains from trying to pet Stormy, no matter how much she very clearly wants to.

Arric studies Annuvin curiously. He looks like he has something on his mind, but doesn't speak it aloud yet.

[Kenelly]: She's marvelous.

[Slicket]: Since we're short Natlee and Glyphe, it's good we've got wolves and crows around.

Arric winces at 'short', but since Slicket said it, seems to decide it's okay.

[Birdie]: Hope Glyphe's not sick too.

[Birdie]: They were hanging out together a bunch.

[Slicket]: Yeah… might be the case.

[Arric]: Oh dear, perhaps it is contagious.

[Birdie]: Slicket, want me to lead us to the tower?

[Slicket]: Maybe that's how she knew.

[Slicket]: Yeah, go ahead Birdie!

[Arric]: Mmm.

Birdie is, apparently, not the leader of the group. Weird.

[Slicket]: You know the land.

Stormy lopes along with the group, her gaze trained almost exclusively on Arric, to the point she's barely looking where she's going.

[Slicket]: Careful as we go through here Arric.

Annuvin takes to the air above them.

[Slicket]: The people are not real happy with how things are going.

Birdie slows down and nods to some of the drifters as they leave.

[Kenelly]: They've had such a terrible time of it.

[Birdie]: That'll be it, there.

Arric peers around, searchingly.

Birdie falls back behind Slicket once the tower is in view.

[Slicket]: Twister wandering near it. We'd better be careful of that.

[Kenelly]: Lord Arric, I must warn you, when we enter a dangerous situation…I will change.

[Kenelly]: I can't help it.

[Arric]: Change—- oh.

Arric pales a little, but just nods.

[Slicket]: He likes wolves though! Right?

[Kenelly]: I didn't want to shock you too much.

[Birdie]: Yeah. It's a curse, after all.

Kenelly grins. "True!"

Slicket pauses by a fallen tree.

Agent Kearnen says: Shhhhh….

Birdie ducks around the far side of the large log, out of eyesight of the tower.

Kenelly blinks. What was that?

Slicket whispers, "Agent Kearnen?"

[Birdie]: Stoutmantle sent us. Any progress with Helix?

Agent Kearnen nods toward the tower.

Agent Kearnen says: He's inside. Been there for days.

Agent Kearnen says: I've been waiting for an excuse to bust him.

[Slicket]: We've got gnoll documents that implicate him. Is that enough?

Agent Kearnen nods. "That'll do it."

Agent Kearnen says: I won't lie to you… the place is heavily guarded. I count six armed mercenaries just on the outside. There's no way you're getting in without backup. Luckily for you, Claire and I are here.

[Kenelly]: Claire?

Agent Kearnen pats her sniper rifle.

[Kenelly]: Oooooh…

Birdie grins.

Slicket chuckles.

Annuvin circles towards the tower, doing a pass by the windows.

Agent Kearnen says: I'll cover your entry. Check that bag behind the log for shrouding potions. Use 'em once you get inside, then head upstairs. Find out what Helix is hiding up there.

[Slicket]: Ah, so we'll get more evidence. Then bust him?

[Kenelly]: Shrouding potions. Oh, interesting.

Slicket picks up one of the vials and looks at it curiously.

Arric takes one as well.

Birdie passes the potions out. "Nice."

[Arric]: I've never used one of these before… fascinating.

Agent Kearnen says: SI:7 specialty.

Arric bows before Agent Kearnen.

[Slicket]: Might want to leave Stormy and Annuvin out here.

[Birdie]: Four guards outside the tower.

[Birdie]: Can't get a good look through the windows.

Agent Kearnen says: Don't worry. I've got you. Just need someone to distract them from my position.

[Birdie]: Sure thing.

Agent Kearnen says: Once you're inside, though, it's on you.

[Slicket]: I'm very good at being distracting.

Arric chuckles. He leaves Stormy near Kearnen, and the group heads to the tower.

[Kenelly]: Oh my, that whirlwind…

[Slicket]: Yeah, definitely keeping an eye on that thing.

Kenelly gasps at Mercenary.

Slicket pumps his fist in a cheer.

Slicket drinks his potion.

Birdie hurries inside once Agent Kearnen takes out the mercenaries and drinks the potion.

Arric drinks the potion as well and makes his way up the ramp.

Shadowy Figure says: They provided the distraction I required. We continue as planned.

Helix Gearbreaker says: But mistress, the admiral is sti…

Shadowy Figure says: We will free the admiral during the dawning.

Helix Gearbreaker says: Yes, mistress.

Shadowy Figure says: Judgment day is soon upon us, Helix.

Shadowy Figure says: Call for the people. I wish to speak to them one last time before the dawning.

Helix Gearbreaker says: Moonbrook, mistress?

Shadowy Figure says: Aye. Tonight.

Slicket whispers, "Let's get out of here."

Arric looks a little starry-eyed at Agent Kearnen's shooting.

[Slicket]: Nice shooting, Kearnen!

[Slicket]: I've never felt safer.

Agent Kearnen says: What'd you find?

[Slicket]: Right, so Helix is in with… whoever it is that's been causing trouble around here.

[Slicket]: They're gonna call everyone together at Moonbrook, tonight.

[Birdie]: Helix was speaking with his superior. She wants to make a speech tonight at Moonbrook before 'the dawning'. During that event, she plans to free 'the Admiral'.

Agent Kearnen leans toward them as though listening, even though her eyes and gun are still trained on the tower.

Slicket nods at Birdie.

Agent Kearnen says: Moonbrook… I don't like this one bit.

[Slicket]: I'd be worried if you did.

Agent Kearnen says: All right, sounds like it's time for me to fill out a report and head back to Stormwind. I'd recommend you report back to Gryan.

[Arric]: To whom?

[Birdie]: Stoutmantle.

Agent Kearnen says: Right. Him.

[Slicket]: The guy who sent us here, with the pauldrons.

Birdie whistles for Annuvin.

Arric picks up Stormy.

Arric seems inclined to follow Bertrand, despite the obvious cues that Slicket is the group leader.
Birdie is, in fact, following Slicket.

[Slicket]: Right, let's head back.

[Slicket]: I wonder if he'll want us to slip into that meeting? Depends on who 'everybody' is, if we can get away with it.

[Birdie]: Judgement Day…

[Slicket]: I don't like the sound of that.

[Kenelly]: This is sounding more and more serious.

[Birdie]: Hope Saldean said something along those lines.

[Arric]: Who?

[Slicket]: But then, I guess it's just a cultural thing here. The idea of Judgment Day, yeah.

[Kenelly]: Hope…the cook at the Sentinel Hill tower.

[Birdie]: One of the locals. Adopted daughter of a family of farmers, helps with food distribution.

Arric nods, taking some mental notes.

[Slicket]: Yeah, she said people believe in like, a day where people are judged for all the things they've done or didn't do.

Birdie gestures to Arric and tells one of the Sentinel Hill guards, "He's with us," as they pass through.

[Arric]: Hm, we don't have that in Kul Tiras, for certain. Our faith is a bit less… morally motivated.

[Slicket]: Yeah, same.

[Birdie]: It's regional, for sure.

Arric nods. "Fascinating."

[Slicket]: I mean, we don't really have faith, but if we did it wouldn't be morally motivated I bet.

[Kenelly]: It sounds like something my father would endorse. A rather strict interpretation of doctrine.

Arric peers at Kenelly searchingly.

Slicket salutes Marshal Gryan Stoutmantle with respect.

[Slicket]: Marshal Stoutmantle, we found Kearnen.

Marshal Stoutmantle says: That was quick…

Birdie rattles off the same report he gave Kearnen earlier.

Marshal Stoutmantle strokes his beard as he listens.

Marshal Stoutmantle says: Moonbrook, hm? We've had a camp near there for some time. Captain Alpert's there, maybe check in with him. Also…

Marshal Stoutmantle says: Fellow named Thoralius, a draenei I met in Northrend. Wise and powerful shaman. We might need his abilities to help us solve this.

Marshal Stoutmantle says: He should be at the camp as well.

[Slicket]: Alright, we'll find them there!

[Birdie]: We'll check in, sir.

Marshal Stoutmantle says: Good luck, and good work so far.

[Slicket]: Thanks! We'll get this figured out in the end.

Birdie salutes.

[Birdie]: Moonbrook you can take the south road and then west at the turn.

Slicket nods.

[Slicket]: Moonbrook still a functioning village?

Arric looks around as they travel, taking in the sights.

[Birdie]: Functioning's a pretty strong word.

[Slicket]: Ah. Another loss, then.

[Birdie]: It's got housing, but… I think the non-housing buildings are also being used as housing.

[Arric]: I have never seen anything like the state of decay in this part of the kingdom.

Kenelly sighs.

[Slicket]: They say there is aid coming in. You saw how Sentinel Hill was being built up.

Kenelly points. "Look there, an Alliance banner."

[Arric]: There are the occasional beggars in Boralus, but… not a whole… province full of them.

Kenelly points over yonder.

[Slicket]: It just doesn't seem to be anywhere near enough.

Slicket looks sadly at the people sleeping in the fields.

Captain Alpert peers at the newcomers. "Hello there. I know that tabard…"

Captain Alpert says: Please tell me you're here to help?

[Slicket]: Cobalt Company! And yeah, we're reporting here from Marshal Stoutmantle. Kind of following something up, actually, but do you need help?

[Birdie]: We're here to help, sir.

[Kenelly]: We'll help however we can.

Captain Alpert says: I don't know what's going on, but transient activity in this area has quadrupled in the last few days. It's almost like they're planning something…

[Slicket]: You don't say. *Slicket sends his teammates a Look*

Captain Alpert says: There's been a rise in violent acts - someone or something is getting them all riled up. And then today a group of thugs came through here handing out pamphlets.

[Slicket]: Thugs with pamphlets? The worst kind.

Captain Alpert says: I wasn't able to get a look at any of those pamphlets, and I'm afraid to set foot in Moonbrook wearing this uniform. Maybe you can snag one and figure out the source?

Captain Alpert says: Or anything else that will give us a clue.

Slicket nods. Then he looks down at his tabard. "Think we should ditch our Cobalt tabards for this?"

[Arric]: Oh, perhaps so.

[Slicket]: That way they'll think we're just part of the thugs. Or something.

[Arric]: I doubt we'll be mistaken for transients, but we shouldn't appear to be… do-gooders.

Birdie removes his tabard.

Slicket pulls off his tabard. Underneath, he's wearing some nice and tidy green and gold midriff armor.

Kenelly pinches her lips in amusement at the sight of Slicket's midriff.

[Slicket]: Yeah, let's look like do-badders.

Arric laughs delightedly at Slicket's joke.

Slicket grins at Arric.

[Kenelly]: Heh…I'll try. I'm not entirely sure how to look like I'm doing bad.

Birdie looks at Annuvin, who takes off into the sky, circling.

[Birdie]: Some of these folks might recognize us, at this point. We've been cooking for the locals.

[Slicket]: Let's give it a try. Maybe you can smile like you know something we don't or something. That can look dashingly evil.

Kenelly tries it. She smiles…very sweetly.

[Slicket]: Okay, you look great, but not evil. Hm.

[Slicket]: Let's just do our best.

A thug inside the schoolhouse attacks them.

Kenelly suddenly transforms as she comes to Slicket's defense.

Arric says a sharp word to Stormy in another language, and she attacks.

Slicket glances back at Kenelly the worgen.

[Slicket]: Oh hey, yeah. You look more badass like that.

Kenelly blushes.

[Birdie]: Whoa.

Arric peers at a red bandana one of them was carrying.

Kenelly hedges, "Won't I stand out too much?" she asks in a much more bestial voice.

Slicket peers down at the dead thugs.

[Slicket]: I'm a gnome. You're a worgen. What's to stand out?

[Birdie]: Hey, nobody saw who lived to tell about it.

Kenelly shrugs. Who knows?

[Arric]: I saw two of them with these red bandanas. A sort of gang?

[Birdie]: Yeah, so, the Defias Brotherhood… that used to be their symbol.

[Birdie]: They were originally the Stonemasons' Guild.

[Arric]: Oh dear.

[Slicket]: Yeah, they've been defunct for a while now.

[Kenelly]: The Defias…? Those awful people who salted the fields?

[Arric]: I had read about them, but did not know of the symbolism.

[Birdie]: Yeah.

[Arric]: It seems that you were right in assuming there were Defias remnants involved in whatever this plot is.

[Slicket]: We found some scraps of this up north, too, when we were investigating the murders. We just assumed they got into old Defias cloth somewhere.

[Slicket]: But yeah, it being here too does seem more than a coincidence.

[Arric]: A book, here…

[Arric]: And inside it, look!

Arric holds up a pamphlet.

[Slicket]: And a poster…

[Slicket]: Aha!

Arric reads the pamphlet aloud.

Birdie reads from a paper tacked to the wall: "The hour of our redemption draws ever closer, brothers and sisters. Tonight we will shed the shell of our former lives and be reborn as heroes. V."

[Slicket]: That's what the poster says, too.

[Arric]: "Give a man a tabard and he will pledge his undying loyalty to your cause. These men are now government sheep who care not for your hardships. They wear the tabard of their leader and care only for what he desires. -V."

[Kenelly]: This is anti-crown propaganda.

[Kenelly]: Who is 'V'?

[Arric]: Must be their leader.

[Slicket]: Hey, come on now. It’s not just the tabards. Jo Sparkwire's a cute gnome, but I care for other things.

[Birdie]: Well, it can't be Varian…

[Arric]: Oh goodness.

[Slicket]: Oh yeah, King Wrynn would not write that stuff.

Birdie stops by a drifter he recognizes. "Hey, Cam. Anybody try to give you a pamphlet recently?"

Cam says: Uh huh.

Cam says: I don't read so good though.

Birdie reaches into his bag and passes Cam an apple. "Something weird going on here, I think," he says quietly. "Stay clear of whoever handed that out, okay?"

Cam nods, looking worried. "Maybe I'll… head back toward the coast for a while."

[Birdie]: Good call.

[Slicket]: I see something there through the door. We might have to fight again.

[Kenelly]: I don't want to fight these people if we don't have to. They're victims of terrible circumstances.

[Slicket]: Okay, let's see if we can find stuff elsewhere. *Slicket says as an aside to Kenelly*
[Slicket]: Hey look, a newspaper!

[Arric]: Pardon me, may I just… there's–

Arric is attacked.

Arric's wolf goes nuts.

[Arric]: Oh dear.

[Slicket]: Over by the fountain.

Kenelly glances around worriedly as she transforms in the street.

Arric's wolf spots Kenelly in worgen form and crouches down, ears folded.

[Arric]: Is that some sort of newspaper?

Slicket skims through it and his eyes widen in dismay.

Birdie draws his shortsword, coming to Kenelly's defense as another guy comes out of the house and attacks.

Slicket looks up. "You all okay?"

[Kenelly]: Yes. Thank you, Birdie.

[Birdie]: Yeah, 'course.

[Slicket]: Birdie, you gotta read this paper. You and I were the only ones there, and this is slander.

[Kenelly]: Um…in print it's libel.

Arric looks impressed by Kenelly.

[Slicket]: Uh, sure, yeah, libel.

[Slicket]: It says we killed those guys who murdered the Furlbrows - they attacked us - while screaming obscenities and proclaiming love for Stormwind and Varian.

[Kenelly]: This is about you? Oh dear.

[Slicket]: It's got you and me in there both, look.

Birdie looks. "Yeah, wow."

[Arric]: Oh dear. And you are rather… visually distinct, Mr. Throttleblast.

[Slicket]: It even says we probably killed Lou. We would never have hurt Lou!

[Arric]: This explains why they keep attacking us.

[Kenelly]: Slicket, do you have a hat, perhaps?

[Arric]: Also, I'm sorry; I've not trained my wolf to do anything but attack when someone tries to kill me. I never thought I would need to call her off under those particular circumstances…

[Arric]: Some new training sessions are in order, I see.

Slicket goes through his bag, shaking his head. "I don't usually carry any, because of the hair."

Kenelly sighs, nodding to Arric. "You would think having a wolf at your side would deter attackers."

[Arric]: What sort of hat would cover that… particular hairstyle?

[Slicket]: I guess, if I slicked it down. *He shudders at the blasphemy to mohawks*

[Slicket]: Now I feel bad, they're attacking us because they think we're murderers.

[Arric]: Your beard is still very distinctive. The color. I sympathize.

[Kenelly]: Well, let's keep moving before more people get brave enough to gather in numbers against us.

[Arric]: I feel certain they are hiding something important in that building there.

[Birdie]: Let's check it out, then.

Arric searches the decrepit inn.

[Slicket]: This place has seen better days.

[Slicket]: We got something here.

[Arric]: What is it?

Kenelly flips through the journal.

[Kenelly]: Oh no…

[Arric]: What does it say??

[Slicket]: What is it?

Arric is on the edge of his proverbial seat.

Kenelly reads: "I can hardly believe it. We've endured this torment for four long years, but soon it will be over. The Brotherhood will be reborn and we will then wash across this land as a flood to cleanse it of its filth and corruption."

[Arric]: The Brotherhood!

Kenelly nods worriedly, offering the book for the others to see.

[Slicket]: So they're definitely trying to re-make the Defias, right? It was a brotherhood.

[Birdie]: Can't say I'm remotely surprised.

[Arric]: Well, this is clearly all the evidence we need.

[Birdie]: Yeah.

[Slicket]: Let's report back.

Captain Alpert turns toward the returning Cobalts.

Captain Alpert says: How'd it go?

[Kenelly]: Grim news, I fear.

[Birdie]: You might want to read some of this, sir.

Birdie presents some documents.

Slicket looks reluctant to hand over the newspaper.

Captain Alpert takes a look at it, then looks at Slicket and Birdie. "Uh oh."

Captain Alpert says: Who's this V? Not Van Cleef… he's dead.

[Slicket]: And probably not Varian. I don't know many more V's.

Kenelly keeps quiet that her mother has a V-name.

Captain Alpert says: I feel like this is building to something - what else do you lot know?

[Slicket]: We found a bunch of red cloth.

[Arric]: And supposedly there is something happening… tonight.

Captain Alpert says: Ho boy. All right. Don't go far. I'm going to confer with my superiors and see what we need to do about this.

[Birdie]: Yessir.

[Arric]: As you say.

Arric looks to Bertrand.

[Slicket]: I guess we're on call till whatever happens tonight.

[Birdie]: Yeah. Slick, I gotta go send a letter real quick if I'm going to be staking out this place tonight.

[Arric]: I'll keep watch here.

Slicket nods. "Sorry we're doing overtime."

[Kenelly]: We should make ourselves comfortable in camp, then. I'll cook something up for us!

[Arric]: I've no one waiting for me.

Slicket smiles at Kenelly. "Thanks, that'd be great."

[Birdie]: I just gotta let Scilla know I'll be late.

[Arric]: Thank you, Lady Kenelly.

Arric bows before Kenelly.

[Kenelly]: Do give her my regards, won't you?

[Birdie]: Of course.

Arric smiles.

Arric goes and settles in and waits for the lady to cook. >.>
