Dear Lady Aro’ephel,

I apologize for not reaching out immediately following the conclusion of the Northrend campaign. As you might imagine, many things were uncertain. I do not know what your plans are for the Coterie, now that the Lich King is dead and we are all returning to an Eastern Kingdoms broken by the re-emergence of Deathwing.

If you were considering that there is no longer a need to have a death knight in your council, I will make things simpler for you. For reasons I am unable to explain, I can no longer in good conscience serve as a Hand for the Crimson Coterie. I humbly request that you accept my resignation.

I hope that you can relay to Gethennis and Kaszimir that this is a decision based entirely on my own reasoning, and that it has nothing to do with anything they have done or not done. Similarly, it has nothing to do with any feelings I might have or not have with regards to you. I have valued the time I have spent with the Coterie, as well as the opportunity to work together with all three of you.

Should you have a need for consultation in matters regarding the undead in the future, I will be reachable via the Ebon Blade. I will provide any insight I am able to give.
