Anareline Silvershade Broll Bearmantle Caspis Silvershade

A envelope arrives at Andorhal, addressed to Anareline Evensong and Caspis Silvershade. Curiously, the letter inside addresses only Caspis.

Caspis Silvershade,

I trust you’ve been keeping well since the Nightmare, given the rumors I’ve heard of towns and farms in the Western Plaguelands. It seems the Circle now understands what they have to gain from listening to other perspectives. This only highlights the importance of persistence, even in the face of doubt. I wish this were just a social letter, reaching out to a like-minded friend now that Stormrage is well-established as Archdruid. Unfortunately, it is not. I have troubling news, of such a dire nature that I am reaching out to all that I trust to help.

I’m sure you know of the magical defenses Stormrage put in place around Mount Hyjal to protect what was left of Nordrassil, before we lost him to the Dream. I refer, of course, to the forest that has blocked the entire region off from the rest of Azeroth. The Circle has been hoping all this time that Nordrassil has been healing in safety, but naturally no one could go in to check. Now, though, the recent spate of disasters has destroyed a portion of the magical forest, opening a path to Mount Hyjal once again. I think that you can understand why I don’t want to return there - my failure and the loss of Anessa is still too recent for me - but it looks like we will have no choice.

Stormrage went to investigate the opening, and what he found is alarming, to say the least. The Twilight’s Hammer is advancing on Mount Hyjal. Obviously, we must do something. We won’t be able to rely on Sentinel support this time, since they’re tied up with the orcish aggression in Ashenvale. We’re gathering the Circle as quickly as we can, but it’s like herding cats, as the saying goes.

If you could gather up a few, that would be a help. I trust you with alerting Thorn, Imrolane, Florande, and Lode. Wyriel and Linwel as well, if you can track them down. Also your shalan, if she hasn’t been drawn into the Ashenvale situation already, and anyone else you can think of that I have not. You might also send in word to Cobalt Company, given their people’s willingness to answer Stormrage’s call into the Dream. We’re not yet at the point of calling in mercenaries, but we may be there soon if the situation in Ashenvale doesn’t improve.

Of course, Cas, you are also one of the cats. Ana, if you’re the one reading this, please make sure he gets the message.

Elune Light Your Path,
Broll Bearmantle
