Bertrand Aspenwood Kenelly Ashewood Natlee Spatterspark Slicket Throttleblast

Kenelly sits quietly on a bench, knitting as she awaits the gathering of the Cobalt team she's come to assist.

Slicket stomps into the Saldean home and looks around for his team.

Birdie follows Slicket inside.

Slicket peers at the unfamiliar woman. "You a friend of the Saldeans?"

[Natlee]: Hey. *Natlee plucks a vulture feather from one of her pigtails and frowns at it.*

[Birdie]: Hey.

Slicket chuckles at Natlee. "Too much time with the buzzards?"

[Natlee]: Ugh, don't get me started… *Natlee preens.*

Kenelly looks up and smiles at Slicket. "I'd like to think we've become friendly, at least. Oh! Your tabards. You must be the Cobalt team."

Kenelly puts away her knitting and rises to greet them.

[Natlee]: Oh, you've heard of us? *Natlee sizes up Kennelly.*

[Birdie]: Yep. I'm Birdie.

[Kenelly]: In a manner of speaking? I was told about you. I'm Kenelly Ashewood.

[Slicket]: OH! You're the wolf girl! *Slicket gives a wide smile*

[Natlee]: Wolf… girl…? Did I miss a memo? Sorry, I've been like, super busy.

[Kenelly]: Wolf…? Ah…yes, I suppose that's true. So…they told you.

[Birdie]: Oh! The captain mentioned…

[Slicket]: Yeah, she's one of those wolves from Gilneas!

[Natlee]: Ohhhhh. Oh, that's fun. *She holds her limp hands close to her chest and forces a smile.*

[Slicket]: Anyway, yeah, glad to have you on hand. Shame Ozmatoz had to step out, though. Always good to have an artist along, too.

[Kenelly]: I realize it might be a bit of a shock. But I assure you, I'm perfectly safe.

Birdie holds a hand out to her to shake..

Kenelly accepts Birdie's hand with a bobbed curtsey.

[Natlee]: Ugh, I never made an appointment to sit for a portrait…

[Slicket]: I bet you can still find her, just means you have to look.

Natlee huffs softly.

Natlee toddles forward and thrusts out her hand, wrist lifted. "I'm Natlee? I'm a priestess."

Farmer Saldean says: Now how am I supposed to get those mechanical wretches out of my fields?

Kenelly smiles brightly, taking Natlee's offered hand and bobbing a small curtsey. "I'm pleased to meet you, Natlee. Light be with you."

Natlee nods and takes her hand back with a sweet smile. "Scuse me, I gotta get some stuff to Mrs. Saldean."

Salma Saldean says: Thank you, Natlee. Your kindness will not be forgotten.

Orphan says: I'm so happy. Thank you, mama and thank you, Natlee.

Orphan says: YAY FOR Natlee!

Orphan cries.

[Natlee]: Oh gosh, don't make such a fuss? *She giggles and waves them off.*

[Slicket]: And Slicket, warrior. We've got a mage, too, but she couldn't make it today.

[Kenelly]: And very pleased to meet you as well, Slicket.

Birdie smiles at her and steps back. "You got a specialty?"

[Birdie]: Front line, back?

[Kenelly]: I suppose I do. I'm a harvest-witch. Though…ever since the change, the kaldorei have been training us as druids.

[Slicket]: A human wolf druid. Nice.

[Birdie]: Well, Slicket here's our front line.

[Slicket]: Yep, and tough as nails, I am. So don't worry, miss, I'll keep you safe.

[Natlee]: Super, super tough.

Slicket grins at Natlee.

[Natlee]: I mean most gnomes are? But him even more so.

[Kenelly]: I feel quite safe in your care.

Natlee beams at Kennelly!

[Slicket]: Alright, so where'd we leave off? There was that harvest machine's heart?

[Natlee]: Okay so Birdiiiiieeee…. have you figured out what to do about those golems yet?

[Natlee]: I know you and Glyphe had some kind of like… big discussion or whatever.

[Birdie]: We gotta get Mr. Saldean's permission for that.

[Birdie]: Glyphe thinks they're interchangeable, though. This heart can go in any of the harvest watchers to power it if we connect it right.

[Natlee]: Hm, okay, well, it seems weird to have to ask his permission to like, help him out? But you know human stuff better than me.

[Birdie]: It's 'cause it's his stuff.

[Kenelly]: The harvest watchers are those machines out in the fields?

Farmer Saldean looks back over his shoulder as the group emerges from the house. "Oh hey Birdie. How's it goin?"

Slicket nods at Kenelly.

[Birdie]: Good, good. Glyphe and I were wonderin' about that heart we found.

Natlee sighs and checks her nails.

Farmer Saldean says: Yeah?

Farmer Saldean looks a little nervous, but still friendly.

[Birdie]: Any of your neighbors been having trouble with the harvest watchers?

Farmer Saldean says: Always. Why?

[Birdie]: Well, we might be able to use the part we got left-over from yours to re-power one and take some of the others out that way.

Farmer Saldean says: Repower one? *He flinches.* Isn't that… kinda the opposite of what we want?

Birdie shrugs. "It's not going to rampage. That was due to tampering. They did actual work back in the day, didn't they?"

Farmer Saldean says: Back in the day, yeah. But now they're just… metal monsters. It ain't like it was.

[Birdie]: The Graufowl farm still has a couple of functional ones, miz Rozalin says.

[Natlee]: It sounded to me like the engineers were saying, they can use that heart thing to like, take control of it. Make it do what we want.

[Birdie]: Well, yeah.

[Kenelly]: And if it doesn't work, we'll be here to prevent it from running wild.

[Slicket]: Yeah, we could knock it right down again.

Farmer Saldean says: Oh yeah? *He scratches his chin.* So you're sayin'… you know how they work and all? You could… tell it what to do?

Birdie says very patiently, "Yeah, that's what I'm sayin'."

Farmer Saldean says: I don't doubt you could knock one down, heh heh. You do fine knocking, I did see that.

[Slicket]: Want us to give it a try?

[Birdie]: They're your property, so it's your call, sir.

Farmer Saldean considers a moment longer. "Well… if you're real sure. Molsen farm got a bunch of em all busted up. You could try fixin' one of those?"

Birdie nods. "Yeah, we can give it a shot."

Farmer Saldean says: Just… if the thing turns on you… well, I guess you know what to do.

Farmer Saldean says: Just… don't go blamin' me or anything.

[Slicket]: Course not, sir, all at our own risk.

[Kenelly]: You're certainly not to blame, sir.

Natlee nod nod nods.

Birdie grins.

Farmer Saldean says: Good luck.

[Birdie]: Thanks.

[Slicket]: Allllright. Let's get crackin'!

[Natlee]: 'Kay I think I know where the Molsen farm is.

The group heads west toward the abandoned Molsen farmstead, which is covered in broken, sparking harvest golems.

Natlee jumps into the air like a cat when Kennelly turns into worgen form.

[Kenelly]: Sorry…I can't really help it when there's danger.

[Natlee]: Yikes….

[Slicket]: Wicked.

[Natlee]: *observing the sparking golems* Speaking of danger…

[Birdie]: Okay, careful…

[Natlee]: I'm going to stand waaaaaaaay back.

[Slicket]: Don't shock yourself, Birdie.

Natlee shields Birdie.

Birdie puts on a pair of insulated gloves. Yikes.

[Natlee]: Also um…. <gnomish word>! *She casts Power Word: Fortitude*

Birdie opens up one of the golems - some more sparks fly.

[Natlee]: Aaack!

Birdie is fine.

Natlee giggles.

Birdie installs the heart inside a harvest golem.

Natlee stands waaay back as promised.

[Birdie]: Alright, I think I can get this thing to go…

Birdie steers the thing towards the fields, using the detachable piece of the heart that serves as a remote control.

The remote-controlled golem annihilates a bunch of its working brethren easily on the way back to the Saldeans’ home.

Birdie calls, "It's safe," as he steers the thing back and parks it by the fence.

Farmer Saldean says: You're all still alive, I see…

Farmer Saldean says: How the heck… never mind, even if you answered I probably wouldn't understand it.

Birdie opens his mouth to explain, then sighs and lets it go.

Farmer Saldean stares at the docile remote-controlled golem. "I'll be damned. Well hopefully that means the end of the harvest golem problem around here."

Farmer Saldean says: I can't believe how helpful y'all have been. Not sure we'd have made it through the summer without ya.

Farmer Saldean says: Anything we can do in return? We ain't got much.

Birdie looks at Slicket to explain this one.

[Kenelly]: I'm just happy we can help.

Natlee looks at Slicket too. "Should I maybe do the talking here?"

[Slicket]: We were glad to help, yeah, no thanks needed, but…. yeah, sure Nat.

Natlee looks up at him with big baby blue eyes. "So we've been trying to figure out like… who would do such an awful thing to the Furlbrows? We want to like, bring them to justice. I don't suppose you know anything that might help?"

Farmer Saldean says: I sure don't, ma'am. But my wife gets around more'n I do, socially. Maybe she's heard some gossip?

[Natlee]: Oh gosh, maybe so! We can ask.

Birdie nods.

[Birdie]: Sure thing. Thanks.

Birdie shakes Mr. Saldean's hand firmly and heads on inside.

Salma Saldean brightens up when Birdie enters, and straightens her hair a little.

[Birdie]: Hey, Mrs. Saldean.

Salma Saldean says: Oh hello dear! What can I do for you?

[Birdie]: Your family's been real generous taking in so many folks here, and we were wondering if you might've heard something from any of 'em. We've been trying to figure out who was behind the murder of the Furlbrows.

Salma Saldean says: Oh, so awful! We still can't believe it. I feel like some of the poor displaced folks around here might know something, but they are a bit shy of me and Mr. Saldean. Our little girl, though, she works with 'em a lot.

[Kenelly]: Oh? Could we speak with her?

Salma Saldean says: Oh I'm sure you can! She's been working out by Sentinel Hill. Her name's Hope - or that's what we called her anyway. No idea what her name was before. Poor thing.

[Slicket]: Before? Before what?

Salma Saldean says: Oh, well, she's not ours. We adopted her a few years back.

[Birdie]: Hope Saldean, out by Sentinel Hill…

[Birdie]: What's she look like?

[Slicket]: Ah, one of the orphans you took in. Seems a lot of orphans in these parts. *Slicket shakes his head sadly*

Salma Saldean says: Pretty young lady about sixteen, dark hair… just call out Hope and she'll answer I'm sure.

Birdie nods.

Salma Saldean says: Take some of my stew with you! It's just now all done cooking.

[Slicket]: Thanks, Mrs. Saldean.

Salma Saldean starts packing some stew up for them in a big covered bucket.

Salma Saldean packs a few more, since there are lots of hands.

[Natlee]: Oh um, I can't carry something that heavy, sorry. But the others totally can.

Slicket reaches out to carry a heavy bucket.

Birdie takes a heavy bucket.

[Slicket]: We'd better go find her before this gets cold.

[Natlee]: So watch out for like… tornadoes or whatever?

Kenelly examines a bit of soil she picked up, sniffing at it. "So salty. What happened here?"

[Slicket]: Seems like it.

[Slicket]: There was this bandit team, they salted the land.

[Natlee]: The Defias happened. Like a gang of thugs.

[Kenelly]: That's awful.

[Natlee]: There's Sentinel Hill… *She points toward walls in the distance.*

[Slicket]: They're gone now, at least.

[Birdie]: Happy to tell the story when I'm not carrying stew.

[Slicket]: Been gone for a while.

[Kenelly]: I'm glad to see the fields are starting to recover. Maybe I can do something to help.

As they approach Sentinel Hill, it becomes more obvious that unhoused humans are crowding the opening in the wall, and guards are trying to keep them out. Some of the unhoused are throwing dirt and rotten fruit at the guards.

[Birdie]: Oh.

[Natlee]: Oh, gosh.

Homeless Stormwind Citizen says: Is this equality and justice for all?

Transient says: We're hungry and cold! Help us!

[Natlee]: Um, we're with Cobalt Company?

Birdie frowns at a sign that reads ABSOLUTELY NO TRANSIENTS! NO EXCEPTIONS!

Sentinel Hill Guard says: *tensely* You can go on in then.

Homeless Citizen says: Oh you let THEM in???

Homeless Stormwind Citizen says: Down with the king!

Kenelly frowns worriedly at the transients.

Natlee apologizes to Transient. Sorry!

Slicket walks by, carrying the stew bucket. He looks at the transients, concerned, as he passes.

Birdie sticks by Kenelly, as if to make it clear she's with them.

[Natlee]: Gosh.

[Slicket]: I thought this place was getting built up for the people.

[Slicket]: Not, like, against them.

Natlee looks troubled.

[Kenelly]: Why won't they let them in? There seems to be plenty of space inside the wall.

[Birdie]: Does Ference know? Hm.

[Natlee]: Maybe because of all the like, fighting and stuff?

Birdie calls, "Hope! Hope Saldean!"

[Slicket]: We should put that in our report. Maybe he can bend somebody's ear on it.

[Natlee]: Don't see much of anyone around here…

[Slicket]: Lot of construction though.

[Natlee]: Oh, gryphons! *She starts off up the hill toward the flight master.*

Birdie lugs the bucket of stew uphill.

[Natlee]: *to the Flight Master, Thor* Scuse me, do you know where Hope Saldean is?

Slicket looks out over the town. "Maybe in the inn? Or we could head in this tower and get a better view…"

Thor says: Might want to check the tower.

[Birdie]: Thanks.

[Slicket]: Oh! That's handy. It's right here.

Natlee thanks Thor.

[Kenelly]: Thank you!

Lt. Horatio Laine is at the tower, speaking with Marshal Gryan Stoutmantle. Enclosed in the stocks is a ferocious looking worgen.

[Slicket]: Oh look, it's our friend Laine.

[Natlee]: …Ugh.

Birdie looks, surprised, at the worgen in the stockade.

Kenelly gasps at the worgen in the pillory.

Slicket eyes the stock with the worgen worriedly.

Marshal Gryan Stoutmantle says: You have our full cooperation, lieutenant. The Furlbrows were good people. Their deaths will not go unpunished.

Lieutenant Horatio Laine says: That's good to hear, marshal. While those Cobalt people have brought the perpetrators to justice, their ringleader is still on the loose. Perhaps with the aid of the Westfall Brigade we will finally be able to solve this case.

Lieutenant Horatio Laine says: Might I ask, what's with the worgen in the stocks?

Marshal Gryan Stoutmantle says: We caught this beast slaughtering sheep in the countryside. He is unrepentant and easily agitated. Keep your distance, lieutenant.

Ripsnarl says: When I break out of these stocks I'm going to rip out your heart and devour it whole!

Natlee frowns with disappointment at Ripsnarl.

Kenelly sinks back, half-hiding herself behind Birdie.

Lieutenant Horatio Laine says: Wow, the marshal wasn't kidding.

Lieutenant Horatio Laine says: But is your bark…

Lieutenant Horatio Laine says: Worse than your bite?

[Natlee]: Uggggggggggh.

[Slicket]: I don't see any Hope here… maybe inside?

Hope Saldean says: Someone looking for me?

[Birdie]: Excuse us.

Birdie ushers Kenelly past the group and inside the tower.

Hope Saldean says: Ohhhh… I smell Westfall stew! Did Mother send you?

[Birdie]: Miss Saldean? Your ma sent us, yeah.

Birdie sets the covered bucket down and shakes his wrists out a bit. Heavy.

Hope Saldean says: Great! We can get this distributed to the people right away, with your help.

Slicket sets down his own bucket. "To the people in town? Or the ones outside?"

Hope Saldean frowns a little, a storm passing over her youthful features. "The ones outside. They've just about given up. Do you have any idea what it feels like? To stop caring about life? We have to show them there's hope."

Hope Saldean says: You'll help, won't you? There are so many, and I'm just one pair of hands…

Kenelly nods vehemently. "Of course!"

[Birdie]: Yeah, of course. Got any bowls in here…?

[Slicket]: Yeah, think I felt somethin' similar when I saw that water rushing over the raceway. I get how they feel.

[Slicket]: But there's always something new around the corner. We'll help 'em see that, maybe.

Hope Saldean says: I would just set those buckets down and let them share. A lot of them carry their own bowls and cups and so on. They have to; they never know where they'll find water or food.

[Slicket]: …Okay. Picking it back up then. *Slicket grunts as he picks the bucket back up, then smiles at Hope.*

[Birdie]: Okay.

Hope Saldean says: Sorry. *She laughs a little.*

Hope Saldean says: I know you carried those a long way.

[Slicket]: What's a little further, if it'll help some folk?

Hope Saldean says: I can take one of them. We'll split up.

Birdie picks the bucket back up. "Yeah, and walking past the people at the gate with food felt pretty crummy. Glad we're going back there after all."

Natlee offers to carry absolutely nothing, as usual.

Kenelly eyes Ripsnarl warily as they pass, steering clear lest he get a whiff of her scent.

[Slicket]: Wish we could get them in the town, but maybe this will be enough for now.

Slicket eyes the worgen again as they walk back out of the tower.

Marshal Stoutmantle says: Hey, before you head out…

Birdie sets the stew bucket down by his feet and snaps off a sharp salute to the Marshal.

[Slicket]: Yeah? *Slicket hoists the bucket of stew to get a better grip*

[Birdie]: Yessir?

Marshal Stoutmantle says: I know those tabards well. Does my heart good to see you back in Westfall.

[Slicket]: New team, but the same company. Glad to be here and help.

Marshal Stoutmantle says: Since you lot chased out the Defias, our main problem now is gnolls. We could use your help fighting them off.

Marshal Stoutmantle says: Can I count on you?

[Slicket]: Gnolls, sure. We've already made a start up in the north.

[Birdie]: Yessir.

Marshal Stoutmantle says: Someone's pulling their strings, I just know it. If you can find out anything we could use that intel also.

Kenelly briefly meets Ripsnarl's gaze and quickly looks away.

Natlee eyes the worgen warily. The other worgen. Not the good worgen.

Birdie salutes Marshal Stoutmantle before picking the bucket back up.

[Natlee]: Whoa.

[Kenelly]: You don't think they'll lock me up if they see me change…do you?

[Slicket]: The gnolls are in the walls? Maybe its safer the others are outside, in the end.

[Natlee]: They weren't kidding about the gnoll problem. They're inside the wall!!!

[Birdie]: Nelly, the stormcrow's with me, don't be alarmed.

Birdie whistles for Annuvin.

Slicket nods at Natlee, and then turns to Kenelly. "We'll vouch for you, but maybe just don't wolf out nearby.

[Natlee]: Oh hiiiii Annuvin, who's a good birdie???

Annuvin croaks, "Hey."

[Kenelly]: That's not so easy if we get into trouble.

[Slicket]: We're gonna have to fight our way to the transients. *Slick sighs and sets down the stew bucket.*

Riverpaw Brute attempts to run away in fear!

The group gets busy hunting gnolls, quite effectively. Natlee stops to examine a body.

[Natlee]: Ohhhh there's paper on this one.

[Natlee]: Look for papers on them!!

[Slicket]: I'll keep an eye out.

They fight more gnolls.

[Slicket]: I see some people over here.

[Natlee]: Hungry people!

Homeless Stormwind Citizen says: I'd know that smell anywhere! Salma's famous stew!

Slicket sets down the stew bucket he totally picked up after fighting gnolls.

Natlee smiles at Homeless Stormwind Citizen.

[Natlee]: Bon appetit!

Kenelly smiles at Homeless Stormwind Citizen.

Annuvin caws a warning and swoops towards a nearby gnoll.

Riverpaw Brute says: More bones to gnaw on…

[Natlee]: *finishing off a gnoll that charged too close to the humans eating stew* Leave them alone!!!

[Natlee]: Ugh this is so sad.

Homeless Stormwind Citizen says: Thank you, kind and gentle stranger.

[Slicket]: I wish there was a safer place for them than by the wall.

[Slicket]: With all the gnolls nearby.

[Natlee]: Right??

Natlee smiles at Homeless Stormwind Citizen.

[Birdie]: Sorry to wake you up, miss, but food is here if you'd like some.

[Slicket]: It's good there's people like the Saldeans, though, to help.

[Natlee]: Yeah.

[Slicket]: And us. Maybe you can make more of your stew later, Birdie.

[Slicket]: It seemed popular.

Birdie grunts. He's carrying a heavy bucket and keeps needing to set it down to fight gnolls.

Natlee cheers at Homeless Stormwind Citizen!

Slicket seems to appreciate that at least the bucket is getting lighter as they go.

[Natlee]: Wake up! Dinner time!

Homeless Stormwind Citizen says: Perhaps one day I will repay you for this kind act.

Natlee was happy to help Homeless Stormwind Citizen.

[Slicket]: I think mine's getting pretty much empty.

Homeless Stormwind Citizen says: Maybe… maybe life is worth living.

They circle around the outside of the wall to the entrance again.

[Birdie]: Hey, Salma Saldean's stew if any of y'all are hungry!

Birdie leaves the bucket by the gates for the crowd.

[Natlee]: Please, eat something. You'll feel better?

[Natlee]: And now we're out. Maybe Hope will talk to us now about… you know.

[Slicket]: Don't see why she wouldn't.

[Slicket]: We're all just trying to help.

[Natlee]: Oh wait.

[Natlee]: First let's look at those gnoll papers.

[Slicket]: Oh right, what do they say?

[Natlee]: See if it's anything we should tell that… guy about.

[Natlee]: Mine's all soggy. Anyone else find any?

Natlee holds up paper that has clearly been chewed on.

[Kenelly]: I found something.

[Slicket]: Oh yeah?

Birdie unrolls his. It reads:

"Minions, our leader has spoken. You are to sack Sentinel Hill and free the admiral. You may keep anything that you find in your rampage. - Helix"

[Natlee]: Oh boy. That um, that's not good.

[Birdie]: Hmm.

[Slicket]: Right. So that's probably something we should report.

[Birdie]: Yeah.

[Natlee]: Helix… that sounds gobliny.

[Slicket]: Not just random gnoll aggression.

[Natlee]: I bet a GOBLIN is leading them.

[Natlee]: You know there are goblins in the HORDE now??

[Slicket]: The comment on spoils sounds like a thing a goblin would think to note.

[Natlee]: Tooootally.

[Natlee]: We should tell whatsisname right away, maybe this is a Horde plot???

[Slicket]: And yeah, I heard. The Bilgewater. Luckily most of my friends were Steamwheedle, so.

[Slicket]: Yeah, for sure.

[Birdie]: Marshal Gryan Stoutmantle.

Birdie just knows this guy, apparently.

[Natlee]: Cool.

[Natlee]: You can do the talking.

Natlee gently pats Birdie.

Slicket waves at Marshal Gryan Stoutmantle.

Marshal Stoutmantle says: News?

[Birdie]: Sir. You might want to have a look at this.

Birdie hands the note over.

Marshal Stoutmantle reaches out and takes it, then frowns over it. "@#$%."

Kenelly's eyes widen at the foul language.

[Slicket]: Yeah, that seems like the right reaction.

Marshal Stoutmantle says: Thank you. I'm glad we got warning of this.

Marshal Stoutmantle rubs his eyes wearily and then exhales. "All right. Helix. Where have I heard that name…"

Marshal Stoutmantle says: "And Admiral? What Admiral?"

Marshal Stoutmantle strides over to the worgen in the stocks. "Do you know anything about this, beast? Who is the admiral? Speak!

Ripsnarl says: The dawning comes, Stoutmantle, and with it comes your end.

Slicket's eyes widen at his choice of words.

Marshal Stoutmantle says: Gibberish from a mad wolf. Bah!

Slicket looks back at the others.

[Slicket]: Think it's the same dawning as that ogre was talking about?

[Slicket]: Maybe this is all connected.

[Birdie]: Well, yeah.

Marshal Stoutmantle says: Anyway, as far as actionable intelligence, the gnolls have a leader named Jango Spothide. He should be in the Dust Plains somewhere. Take him out if you see him.

[Slicket]: Gnolls and a worgen and an ogre. And whoever that was in the shadows… yeah sure, will do.

Birdie salutes the Marshal. "Yessir."

Natlee waves at Hope Saldean.

[Natlee]: Can I go talk to Hope?

[Birdie]: Yeah?

[Birdie]: Is she back yet?

[Slicket]: Oh yeah, I see her in there.

Natlee considers Birdie. "Maybe you should be the one to ask her about… stuff."

Birdie directs Annuvin to stay outside of the tower.

[Birdie]: Sure.

[Natlee]: Since she's a young human girl and you're…. um… human.

Natlee giggles softly.

Kenelly grins in amusement at Natlee.

Birdie holds up his empty hands. "All out of soup. Left my bucket outside the gate, I'll take it back to your ma when we head back."

Hope Saldean says: Thank you so much for your help. You all have kind hearts, and when the time comes for us all to be judged, I'm sure it will reflect on you.

[Kenelly]: To be judged…?

Slicket frowns a little at the 'judged', but says, "Yeah, same, I'll get the bucket on the way out. Left it with the crowd by the entrance."

Hope Saldean frowns. "Oh, sorry, were you not brought up with that?"

Hope Saldean says: Maybe it's a Westfall thing? That our souls are all judged for our actions in this life, when the time comes for them to move on?

[Slicket]: Uh, gnomes kind of base things on merit and intelligence, not a lot of judgment.

Hope Saldean says: Oh. I… don't know many gnomes. Sorry.

[Kenelly]: I suppose I've never had it put in those terms.

Hope Saldean says: In any case, I know all of you will be found worthy.

[Birdie]: Well, now you know a few! I'm Birdie. This is Slicket and Natlee, this is Nelly.

Hope Saldean says: So nice to meet you all. Come back by and help any time!

[Slicket]: Yeah, sure. *He's trying to be culturally sensitive here*

Kenelly lifts her brow at 'Nelly', but just chuckles softly.

[Slicket]: Hey Birdie, you want to make some more stew, while we've got time?

[Slicket]: I could help.

[Birdie]: Oh, sure. Gotta bring the buckets back.

Hope Saldean beams at them.

[Kenelly]: I'd be happy to help! I'm a pretty good cook, if I dare say so.
