A reply to Rozalin's letter.
Hi Rozalin,
Things have been going pretty well like you’d expect. Getting further into Icecrown, but not without problems. Latest is the Horde stabbed us in the back again. Seems they want to be the ones who kill the Lich King more than they want the Lich King dead. Rough times, but Cobalt’s alright.
I’ve not seen that night elf girl anymore, but then I’ve been staying at the front. The one I’m working with seems to have calmed down a bit, so that’s going better than I worried at first. Miss you too, been wearing those stockings and thinking about what you might be up to.
Glad to hear things went well with your folks! I hoped they’d be happy to have you back, after thinking you were gone all those years. Maybe it’ll just take time, to build back what could’ve been there? I hope you don’t feel you’ve got to hide those years forever - they can help your folks understand who you are now. Oh, also, I might’ve talked to them before - that is, before I knew they were your parents. If that comes up, I don’t know, just tell them whatever you want about me.
Might be a relative of mine is less dead than I expected, too, but I don’t anticipate a happy reunion. He’s probably Forsaken. I’m dealing with it.
Anyway, good of you to help out there, and I reckon they need it. I hope Fallon and the others in the House will be able to send some aid their way once the war’s done. What they did for Sentinel Hill’s a step, but it sure sounds there’s a lot more to be sorted. Maybe, depending on how the war goes, I might end up with some kind of a voice myself. I mean, not direct, but it’s getting to where I can talk to people who have the power to make things happen, you know? And they might listen to me, sometimes. If I have a good point.
About the marmalade, I do want to talk to you about that, but maybe it’s not a good thing to put in a letter. Just don’t send any more gifts up to the fleet, alright? I’ll try to get some time to come down and visit in the next week or so!
