(Occurs 01/28) Emerald Santuary, Felwood…

Velrin creeps out of the woods to greet everyone, "Hello." There's a deep melancholy in her eyes.

Lode blinks at Velrin. "Sentinel." She palms behind her head, a bit awkwardly. "I uh, glad you could make it. Druid trouble out here and all." It might be an effort at starting on a better foot. "Oh hey priest."

Dane approaches from the road, giving the tauren an unsavory look before his gaze falls on Velrin. "Velrin," he grunts, eyeing her appraisingly.

Alaisa smiles and gets up off the stool.

Celaven heads over to stand by Velrin and nods at the others. "Hello."

[Alaisa]: Sir Dane. Celaven. And…

Velrin takes Ven's hand, "This is my homeland. This is my business."

Alaisa looks at Velrin and Lode.

[Lode]: You're from around here? Harsh. But I get it. It's your business.

[Alaisa]: I'm Ally, I do the translations of the newsletters.

Celaven smiles at everyone.

Dane gives Alaisa a nod in greeting as he crests the hill. He cinches his thumbs into his belt and looks to Lode. "Aye, wot's the situation?"

[Celaven]: Some of you I've seen recently in the Nightmare, and some of you not for quite some time.

[Velrin]: I'm Velrin Silverbloom. Thank you all for coming here today.

[Celaven]: Some of you I've seen recently in the Nightmare, and some of you not for quite some time.

[Alaisa]: I wish I could have seen the Emerald Dream.

Alaisa sighs. "I was one of the Sleepers at the time."

Velrin squeezes Ven's hand tighter, "Me too…" she whispers.

Lode nods to Dane. "It's about the Shadow Council convening in some old barrow dens since the sickness here forced them to be abandoned. I'll let Greta explain what she told me. But she wanted numbers, that's for sure."

Imrolane tilts her head at Alaisa. "Oh. I hope I did not kill you."

Celaven nods at Lode.

Dane sets his gaze on Lode, and nods slowly, before he looks around to all the others as he speaks, a bushy brow lifted. "I'm an enemy of the Shadow Council, wherever they dwell."

Celaven looks quizzically between Imrolane and Alaisa.

Alaisa blinks at Imrolane. "I'm alive and well today, as you see. If you killed an image of me, I won't be offended."

[Alaisa]: I'm Ally.

Velrin smiles and nods at Dane.

Imrolane gives Ally a fangy grin (a bit more fangy than the typical night elf). "Ally. Imrolane."

Dane looks to Alaisa. "We've met, milady. Briefly, in Stormwind. I believe you were manning the books for Lord Elohad Ference in the Dwarven District at the time."

Alaisa chuckles. "We have, yes, But she and I had not. Nor…"

Celaven nods at Alaisa. "It has been a while since we fought the wyrm cult, but it is good to see you again."

Alaisa looks at Lode.

[Lode]: Good, then there shouldn't be too much problem about tearing 'em up, which is what I expect is the order of the day. Hey Ally. Translator, you said. I'm Lode. Uh, druid, if that wasn't clear.

Dane nods once to Alaisa.

Alaisa grins at Lode. "Hey."

Imrolane points to Lode and says, "Lode."

[Lode]: The Cenarion Circle is trying to tie up some trouble in the wake of all this upheaval and, y'know, weird Dream waking overlap business. Now that some of the root of the issues in the Circle is out of the picture.

[Celaven]: I have heard of the change in leadership and… the healing of Teldrassil? It is a good time to seize on momentum.

Dane grunts.

[Lode]: Yeah, I think the Emerald guys here have been trying to get some assistance for a time now, so this is a good opportunity to strengthen things all over. Oh, there's the shaman.

Lode waves at Azizia.

Azizia descends from a newly landed Hippogryph. "Hello, Cobalt Company. I am sorry I am late."
Azizia bows down graciously.

[Dane]: Azizia.
Dane inclines his head.

[Lode]: Well that's numbers accounted for. Let's hop to it and get the word from Greta, shall we?

You nod at Greta Mosshoof.

Celaven nods at Azizia, smiling in greeting.

[Velrin]: I wish I had more time to spend helping here, but the Lich King takes precedence.

Azizia smiles at Celaven. "We haven't worked together in long time!"

Imrolane arches a perplexed eyebrow at Lode. But she hops and follows.

Alaisa nods to Azizia. "I'm Ally, hello," she says, before turning her attention to Greta.

[Azizia]: You too, Mr. Dane.

[Dane]: It's been some time, hasn't it.

[Azizia]: Azizia, hello, Ms. Ally.

Dane eyes Greta Mosshoof up and down.

[Lode]: Hey, Greta, that's everyone accounted for. This look like enough to you?

Greta Mosshoof looks over the group. "I welcome you, friends. And the Emerald Circle welcomes you."
Greta Mosshoof says: Hopefully together we can help rejuvenate and protect this once-mighty forest. Many forces seek to destroy it from without… and within.

Azizia bows before Greta Mosshoof.

Greta Mosshoof says: Do not be persuaded by the power here—it will only corrupt you, like it has this entire land.

Velrin responds with a grim nod.

Greta Mosshoof says: In the wake of the Nightmare, now more than ever do we need to look more closely at the matter of corrupted barrow dens.
Greta Mosshoof says: These places that once protected us in sleep sadly prove attractive as shelters for evil if we druids have been driven away.
Greta Mosshoof says: Cobalt's reputation is one that has reached us even here, so I am glad to see some force could be spared to see to problems in this part of the world.

Lode folds her arms. "Yeah, it's like I get some recognition for once, who knew?"

Greta Mosshoof says: The Shadow Council is responsible for many evils here and abroad. Though we believe they have been recently affected by the nightmare sleep, so were we, and so a stalemate persists in our ability to route them from disused dens.
Greta Mosshoof says: They use the cover of corruption that keeps many at bay to congregate. Travel deeper into Felwood. To the west you will see a path leading to Jaedenar. It is there that the Council plots with the Burning Legion.

[Celaven]: It does sound like a problem that cannot be left to grow.

Velrin growls.

Azizia nods at Celaven.

Imrolane rumbles a bestial growl.

Dane just grunts at Greta's explanation.

Greta Mosshoof nods gravely. "Enter the depths of one of the corrupted Barrow Dens they inhabit and slay their kind. Return to me after you've done this, and in the meanwhile I will begin preparing a means to gain sight into deeper dens."

[Lode]: yeah, we can do that. We've got enough to venture in without a problem, I'm thinking. I'd expect some demons for sure.
Lode looks over the others with a sharp nod. "Ready to head out?"

[Velrin]: Always.

[Dane]: Aye, 'tis a fine grouping.
Dane looks to Lode. "Ready."

[Alaisa]: Winds guide you, Greta. We'll return with better news.

Greta Mosshoof says: Just so. Safe journey.

Celaven pats Velrins shoulder encouragingly. "Yes, ready."

[Lode]: Let's ride.

They set out up the road north for Jaedenar.

[Azizia]: It has been little while since main enemy was demons, and not undead.

[Velrin]: Too long.

[Celaven]: Refreshing, in a way.

Azizia nods at Celaven.

[Lode]: They never really went away entirely, this neck of the woods.

[Dane]: It's a -different- sort of foul smell in the air, innit'.

[Lode]: Oh yeah, it really sticks to you.

Alaisa's talbuk seems ill at ease in Felwood.

Velrin tears up as they ride along.

[Imrolane]: Yes. Gross.

Azizia nods at Imrolane.

[Lode]: Jaedenar is not far from here.

Alaisa glances at Velrin, but doesn't comment.

Lode motions to the left. "There, that's the entrance to the first barrow den."

[Dane]: They look to be in force.

[Velrin]: What are we waiting for? *she draws her weapons*

[Lode]: Let's get cracking. No need to spare these Shadow Council warlocks or their pets."

Alaisa speaks quietly to her talbuk.

Azizia throws one of her weapons in the air and puts a flaming hand on

Jaedenar Cultist's face before catching her weapon again.

[Alaisa]: [Draenic] Wait here.

Dane eyes Alaisa up and down.

Dane looks back to her Talbuk, too.

Lode wrinkles her nose at the corrupted windblossom.
[Lode]: Ugh, there are others with the Emerald guys that know better how to compound the right salve for this.

[Azizia]: [Draenei] Me? *She seems surprised to hear Draenei here.*

Dane scoffs with amusement. "Aye, 'tis me. And you, upon two legs." he observes fondly, but gruffly.

[Lode]: There is a method of cleansing, but for now we'll just have to bring back word of the location.

[Alaisa]: Hm? Oh, no. Him.

[Azizia]: … Oh, right. Talbuk.

[Lode]: Don't get cold feet now. It's just a warlock infested barrow den.

[Azizia]: Nothing new.

Imrolane frowns a bit at Dane's observation…and drops to four legs.

Dane eyes Imrolane up and down.

[Dane]: Aye, that's more like it, then.

Lode shifts in and out of bear form to wallop things as they proceed.

Dane tries to pat Imrolane's head once.

Imrolane bobs her head with a rumbling purr.
Imrolane recoils a bit as Dane reaches out…but briefly lets him pet her.

Dane's expression turns sour as they venture farther into the Dens.

[Lode]: Some of these orcs must have been hiding here since the fel first washed down the mountain… just biding their time until they could gather more.

[Dane]: Since the War?

[Lode]: I wouldn't put it past them.

Dane grunts.

Azizia nods at you.

[Dane]: Skulking a long time, then.

[Celaven]: It is disturbing seeing them in a place that should be so tranquil and reverent
.
[Velrin]: But not for much longer.

[Lode]: I doubt the foul air has done much for their temperaments or good sense.

Velrin nods to Ven.

[Alaisa]: It is.

[Azizia]: So this is here druids usually fall asleep?

[Dane]: With wot' little good sense they had to begin with.

[Celaven]: In a sense.
[Celaven]: It is not merely… taking a nap.

[Lode]: Yes, these places were built to protect druids in their meditations.

Azizia seems to judge the decor a little.

Dane glances around at that.

Celaven nods. "Lode or Imrolane could likely explain the process."

[Lode]: That's one den well bloodied. Let's scope up the way a bit.

[Azizia]: I see human!
Azizia points at Jaedenar Guardian.

Dane glares angrily at Jaedenar Guardian.
[Dane]: Barely.

[Lode]: A human who made poor decisions.

[Velrin]: Orc, human, or kaldorei. It doesn't matter. Anyone who's given themselves up to the fel is already dead in my eyes.

Dane grunts. "Too right."

[Lode]: Take 'em out.

Dane looks to the stone ruins overtaken by the forest. "I remember seeing the likes of these the first time. I'd have liked to have seen this kingdom during its prime."

[Lode]: Graaagh! That's so many already, surely enough to make them rethink a thing or two, but that was not the only den in the area, and there's still… all this cultic garbage lying around.

Azizia nods at you.

[Lode]: Let's at least ask the Emeralds if they've got further plans in mind for cleaning out these nests in a way that won't have them filled to bursting with more summoners if left unattended.
[Lode]: Did it look like they had enough people on hand to patrol this place constantly? I don't think so.

Celaven nods at Dane. "As would I."
[Celaven]: All I have are stories from my mother.

[Dane]: Nor I.

Alaisa whistles for her talbuk.

Celaven nods at Lode.

Imrolane frowns at Dane. and Celavan. "Empire…is not prim. Is…ugly heart."

Dane squints through the rain.

[Velrin]: I don't even have that. The kaldorei empire was well before my parents time.

[Lode]: Yeah, don't drink that rain. I'm pretty sure it gathers fel particulate on the way down from the miasma.

[Azizia]: Hmm, rain. *She pats her hair buns, making sure they'll stay in place even with the weather.*

Alaisa grimaces a little.

[Azizia]: … what did you say about rain?

[Alaisa]: Don't drink it.

[Lode]: I said this rain is contaminated probably.

[Dane]: Fel water.

[Imrolane]: Empire is…not nature. Not good. All empire.

Dane spits off to the side.

[Azizia]: … Oh. Of course… fel water.

Imrolane waves at Greta Mosshoof.

Celaven shields himself and carefully brushes the rain from his hair.

[Lode]: Hey, so we cleared out a full den and some up the way, but they seem thick in numbers all the way into Jaedenar.

Dane dismounts, and clasps Velrin on the shoulder, giving her a firm clasp and a tug if permitted before he releases her.

[Velrin]: I wish I could show you how this place looked when I was a girl… *she says quietly aside to Dane*

Greta Mosshoof says: How goes your fight? I know the shedding of blood with little deliberation can be disgusting to some, but you make my task easier by hurting their numbers, and take a step toward preventing this corruption from further festering.
Greta Mosshoof says: I hope you understand.

Celaven reaches through the shield to take Velrin's hand again, once all are settled.

[Lode]: Yeah, yeah, nothing new for most of this lot, really. I mean, I hope nobody has any illusions about merc life.

Velrin squeezes Ven's hand.

Azizia nods at you.

[Dane]: We've all come to kill servants of the Shadow Council.
Dane growls.

[Celaven]: Yes, it was expected.

[Alaisa]: We cleared out one of the barrow dens. They seem pretty well established in the area, though.

Lode casts a mild rejuvenating spell over the group in an effort to ward off mild fel atmospheric irritation.

Greta Mosshoof says: Well then. With their numbers weakening, we can further press them.
Greta Mosshoof says: How was your first taste of their power? Were they as strong as you thought they would be? Stronger? Or perhaps they were no challenge for you at all. Wouldn't that be something?
Greta Mosshoof says: There are other things we must focus on now.

Dane grunts.

Azizia doesn't seem much focused on the current conversation, only briefly nodding at people at time. She whispers something in Draenei.

[Lode]: Hmph. I'd say it was pretty clean. The result, not the walls of the barrow den.

Greta Mosshoof says: Deep within Jaedenar lies Shadow Hold—the main fortress of their corruption and evil.
Greta Mosshoof says: The Shadow Council has protective spells surrounding their lair in the form of braziers. If I am to find out any more information about our enemy through scrying, then those braziers must be extinguished.

Dane squints attentively, scooping his long hair back and wringing it out.

Alaisa 's curly hair sticks to her neck as it rains. She brushes at it irritably. She's starting to get a bedraggled wet cat sort of look to her.

Greta Mosshoof says: By doing so, I should be able to spy on the Council and find out who leads them.
Greta Mosshoof says: If you can, take this canteen and fill it at the Moon Well in the center of Jaedenar. Return to me afterwards.

[Imrolane]: Yes.

[Lode]: Seems simple enough. The moonwell should not be too far from where we broke off the skirmish.

Celaven is doing his best to go for a sleek wet hair look, rather than elf-dunked-in-water.

Alaisa nods.

Dane looks to Lode and nods, at the ready. "Get the water, extinguish the braziers," he repeats.

[Celaven]: I shudder to think what they may have done to the moonwell.

Lode reaches out for the canteen and nods. "Back then. We could have used a word earlier, but it won't be too difficult to get a sample."

Azizia stops whispering in draenei. She grumbles a little, but it seems the rain drops avoid reaching the people in the group.

Lode nods to the group and gets ready to ride again.

Velrin shakes her wet hair out of her face but looks unconcerned with her appearance. (which admitedly isn't difficult because Vel's hair is notoriously difficult to make messy)

[Alaisa]: We'll be back.

[Lode]: And of course, anything in the way of the moonwell is an enemy.

[Velrin]: Agreed.

[Azizia]: Yes… kaldorei water. Very important.

Dane smooths his own thickly damp hair back, slicking it against his scarred head.

Alaisa watches the raindrops avoid landing on her with curiosity after what Azizia did.

[Lode]: Better make way, warlocks!
[Lode]: Ugh, there it is.

[Celaven]: Oh, Elune…

Imrolane sniffs at the moonwell and immediately recoils.

Dane takes a moment to realize he's not longer being pelted by tainted rain, and looks to Azizia with a grunt.

[Lode]: Well that doesn't smell good.

[Alaisa]: Ah, %#@$.

[Lode]: Best not get any on bare skin if you can help it.

[Azizia]: That is… water?

Velrin looks into the well with big, sad eyes.

[Dane]: … This *cannot* be used.

[Celaven]: This is not water, it's an atrocity.

Dane states, or asks, flatly.

[Azizia]: That is what falls on us from sky?..

Lode approaches the moonwell distastefully and gingerly tries to scoop some of the contents into the canteen without contaminating herself, making a face the whole time.

The moonwell is full of murky fel green liquid. It bubbles ominously at them.

[Velrin]: Not this one too…

[Celaven]: The rain cannot be that corrupt.

Dane grimaces in disgust.

[Alaisa]: Well, she wanted a sample, regardless.

[Lode]: I'll handle it, only fair since everyone is answering my call for the Circle.

[Alaisa]: Maybe it can be tested.

[Dane]: Just… have a care.
Dane nods to Lode.

[Lode]: Right then, let's get it back to Greta quickly. I can't bear looking at this any longer.

[Velrin]: Is there anywhere here that hasn't been… twisted? *Vel clenches her fists*

[Celaven]: I only hope that it may one day be healed.

[Dane]: I know wot' it's like to see your homeland transformed into something accursed, and ugly. The first step to cleaning it is slaying its tormentors.

[Lode]: At least we're finally getting a chance to strike back at them, sentinel. The world's troubles are vast and the contamination here deep.
Azizia nods at what Dane said, but that's not a very deep nod. Just a little nod. A sad little nod.

Celaven looks to Dane. "Have you heard of the druid's efforts in the Plaguelands?"

Velrin just frowns at the gnarled trees as they ride.

[Imrolane]: Mmm. Caspis there.

Dane looks back at Celaven. "I have. I know Caspis has returned to my homeland to do wot' he can to heal it. I feel the least I can do is return the favor for you lot."

Imrolane gives Dane a little grin.

[Celaven]: I have hope that both of our homes may be restored.

[Velrin]: Thank you, Sir Dane.

[Dane]: I'm willing to fight and kill for it.

Lode thrusts the gross canteen out to Greta, leaning away from it.

Azizia nods at Celaven.

Dane eyes Lode's cantine distastefully.

Greta Mosshoof accepts it amicably. "This will do nicely, friends."

[Alaisa]: That moonwell was…

[Imrolane]: Gross.

Greta Mosshoof says: Now all we have to do besides apply the waters to the braziers is to have it purified. That should not be difficult—it should only require a little travel.

[Azizia]: Clearly poison.

Greta Mosshoof says: Hopefully we can do this quickly.

[Alaisa]: Not difficult?

[Celaven]: Should not be difficult? *Celaven raises his eyebrows*

[Alaisa]: That was fel sludge in there.

Dane lifts a brow at the generous application of 'waters.'

Greta Mosshoof nods to Alaisa. "I know someone who can assist. Please, take the corrupt water to the Barrens. South of Ratchet, hidden along the shore, is an old friend of mine, a shaman named Islen Waterseer. She is a powerful shaman who will help."

Celaven nods at Ally's assessment.

[Lode]: I mean, we got a shaman right here, you know.

Imrolane points to Azizia.

Dane nods once. "A fine one."

[Celaven]: How are you with water purification, Azizia?

[Azizia]: Yes, I am also shaman. I do not think I am powerful one…
[Azizia]: I only started working more with water… recently.

Greta Mosshoof nods as she regards Azizia. "Would you like to attempt to cleanse the water, friend? I speak of Islen because her relationship with the spirits of water has always been strong."

[Azizia]: It is one weakness of mine.
[Azizia]: No, really not. I am afraid I would make worse.

[Dane]: If it's not your mastery then let us find this Islen with haste.

[Alaisa]: Islen Waterseer it is, then.

Greta Mosshoof says: In that case, I recommend seeking her out. Our task being a noble one should be enough to persuade her and the spirits of water to aid us in this task.

[Dane]: You have other strengths, Azizia.

Greta Mosshoof says: You should find her at a small camp right along the water's edge. And, Cobalt, ignore the pirates… they are but a nuisance and no threat to you.

Dane knits his brow at 'pirates.'

[Lode]: Oh, yeah, I'm actually familiar with Islen, y'know? I've done a lot of little trips to Ratchet when I lived out in Gadgetzan for a while. She doesn't exactly live in town but she's kind of a known character around those parts.

[Azizia]: Ignore… pirates.

Dane eyes you up and down.

[Dane]: Sometime you'll have to tell me how you came to live with those little greenskins.

[Lode]: Haha! It's not that exciting, but sure. Who's up for a little flight? Shake off the gross rain?

[Alaisa]: Yeah.

[Dane]: Aye. It'll be good to be free of this.

[Alaisa]: Please. Ugh.

[Azizia]: Absolutely. Away from Fel rain!

[Imrolane]: Gross rain.

[Alaisa]: Headed to the Barrens.

[Lode]: Give these poor hippogryphs a stretch, too. See you in Ratchet!

Dane glances around at Ratchet as if it's only a small step up from Felwood.

Alaisa seems to have dried out somewhat during the flight.

[Lode]: Right then, Islen usually camps just right out of town, if she hasn't changed her habits since last I was round these parts.

[Velrin]: Lead the way.

[Lode]: Ah, the sweet smell of saltwater and criminal dock fees.

Azizia laughs at you.

Dane wrings out his hair.

[Lode]: The pirates, not so much. It's not like they suddenly gain a habit for bathing on shore.

Celaven carefully smooths his hair, lest it frizz.

[Azizia]: Very nice things to buy here, too.

[Lode]: Oh, yeah, sometimes you can get rare goods straight off the ships before they go to other markets.

[Azizia]: Yes!

[Lode]: Islen? Islen Waterseeker? Don't be startled, we're here about your gift.

Alaisa hangs back a little, unwilling to crowd the shaman.

Azizia bows before Islen Waterseer.

Dane look as if he's about to say something extremely racist regarding goblins but stops himself at the last second. Knighthood!

Celaven hangs back as well, letting the shamans and the druids handle this one.

[Dane]: Aye, we come in peace.

Islen Waterseeker turns about with a slightly surprised blink to be approached by so many. "Oh, hello, travellers."

[Azizia]: I am shaman as well. *She says, hoping it makes her feel safer in any way.*

Islen Waterseeker says: You've come further than many. Respect the elements around you and you shall fare far greater than most.

[Alaisa]: Greta sent us.

Islen Waterseeker says: Greta, hm? I thought I sensed that you were not just simple travellers looking for a path to Ratchet. Come, sit and rest at our camp.

[Lode]: Oh yeah, no, we actually came from that direction, so, uh. There's really no time, I'm afraid.

Dane smacks his lips quietly and glances around.

[Lode]: We're with Cobalt Company and all. Greta said you might know how to deal with this. *She extends the gross canteen to Islen*

Imrolane sits as requested. It's only polite.

Celaven looks curiously at the tent and the other shaman.

Imrolane points to the canteen. "Gross." She wrinkles her nose.

Islen Waterseeker says: Ah, you need the water from this Moon Well cleansed. Stopping this force of malice in Felwood seems noble enough, but it is not for me to decide if the water will be purified.
Islen Waterseeker says: As your own shaman could tell you, I will ask the spirits of water—it will be up to them to decide if the cause is just.

Azizia nods at Islen Waterseer.

Dane impatiently narrows his eyes at that.

Islen Waterseeker says: Before you get to attached to any plans you've made, I must warn you that the spirits of late have been displaying an unusual level of capriciousness, so it remains to be seen if they will hear your request.

Celaven's ears twitch curiously at this assertion.

Islen Waterseeker says: Give me a moment and I will tell them of your plea. I hope they are as sympathetic as I am to your cause.

[Velrin]: What could be more just!?

[Azizia]: I and professor of mine have noticed elements less responsive, of late.

Dane sets a hand on Velrin's shoulder, again, anchoring her.

Islen Waterseer says: Spirits of Water, I give you praise, and I beg of you a favor. You have heard the pleas, and I trust their intent is noble. Please, will you aid us?

Manifestation of Water says: Ko shin fraht zoln ven'tiro fel ko gatin ko ko fraht ko drinor Ko zoln drinor zoln drinor Ko shin tor tchor'ah drinor

Imrolane waves at Manifestation of Water.

Islen Waterseer says: Thank you, great spirit. Thank you!

Lode takes a mild step back at the huge elemental manifesting.

Velrin sighs in relief as the elemental purifies the water.

[Lode]: There, sentinel. Just indeed.

Alaisa smiles.

Dane takes his hand back and watches it all with a stern expression.

Celaven looks in amazement at the purified water. "I suppose it was not difficult."
[Celaven]: I would have thought there was very little moonwell water left in there, with all the fel.

[Azizia]: Spirit was good to us. We are lucky.

[Lode]: Difficult for us perhaps - but not that guy. *she jerks a thumb at where the elemental had splashed back into the ocean*

Azizia nods at you.

Alaisa says a quiet thank-you in Kalimag to the spirit and backs off.

[Azizia]: Wait! You speak Kalimag?

[Velrin]: Thank you, shaman. I'm in your debt.

[Lode]: Great. Thanks Islen. You're swell.

[Dane]: You've quite the gift for tongues.

Dane eyes Alaisa up and down.
Dane gives Islen a very brief nod of thanks before he mounts up.

Celaven looks at Alaisa, impressed.

Islen Waterseeker says: Thank the spirits, travellers. They are the ones that have come to your aid, not me.

Alaisa glances at Azizia. "I'm a translator."

Islen Waterseeker says: I give this purified water to you now. Please give my regards to Greta and my best wishes. She is tackling something greater than many of us… as I'm sure she will soon find out.

[Azizia]: Thank you Islen. You are very good shaman.
Azizia bows before Islen Waterseer.

Islen Waterseeker says: The Shadow Council is not a force to be trifled with, Cobalt. Remember that.

Dane grunts. "We'll see the water returned."

Islen Waterseeker bows to Azizia, and looks over Alaisa curiously for a moment.
Islen Waterseeker says: Go now. Take the water and return to Greta.

[Azizia]: But… do you often translate Kalimag?

[Lode]: We'll go then.

[Alaisa]: Not so often, but it's come up.

Azizia blinks at Alaisa.

[Lode]: Right then, catch you back in Felwood.

Dane looks to the shaman.

Azizia nods. She speaks in Draenei, asking for the rain to avoid them again. This time, nothing changes.

Greta Mosshoof watches the returners landing. "Ah, I see you've returned, Cobalt. Good. Did you find Islen in the Barrens? Or do we have to find another way to accomplish our goals?"

[Azizia]: … Hm.

[Lode]: She was at the usual place, no problem. And the water spirits helped out, even though she said they'd been acting touchy

Dane squints upwards with one eye before he refocuses on Greta.

Lode offers the purified canteen to Greta.

Greta Mosshoof examines the canteen. "This should be more than enough water for our purposes."

Dane grunts, appeased.

Greta Mosshoof says: I'm glad to hear that Islen was able to help us. Her strength with the water spirits has always been a strong one.

[Celaven]: How will we use this water?

Greta Mosshoof says: She is also wise, and rare is it that the spirits do not agree with her purpose. The fact that both of them have blessed our task gives me hope that we are on the right path.
Greta Mosshoof says: Take the water and return to Jaedenar. Now, you must return to Jaedenar. The braziers are more than likely spread throughout Shadow Hold.

Celaven nods at Greta Mosshoof.

Azizia nods at Greta Mosshoof.

Greta Mosshoof says: Douse each of their flames and the protections the Council has set up will fall for at least a short period of time.

[Dane]: We'll get it done.

[Lode]: Shadow Hold, that'd be in the deepest den, I take it.

[Celaven]: Then we should return quickly, lest the effect run out.

Greta Mosshoof says: I will be waiting for that to happen. When it does, I will look deep within the Hold and try to find out who the head of this beast is. Then, and only then, will we see about attacking them directly.

[Azizia]: Very well.

[Dane]: Right.

Dane growls fondly at the idea of a direct attack.

Jessir Moonbow tries to catch the attention of the others with worry in her eyes, raising her hand.

Dane peers at Jessir Moonbow searchingly.

[Dane]: Mm? You've somming' to add, milady?

Lode perks a long eyebrow. "Hey, what's up?"

Celaven glances over at the hunter.

Azizia looks at the others, wondering why they're not going there ye- oh. Someone else wants to speak to them.

Jessir Moonbow says: I am Jessir Moonbow, and I could not help but notice you conferring with Greta about Jaedenar. I have come from Darnassus seeking two friends who came looking for signs of the Shadow Council in Felwood.
Jessir Moonbow says: It seems those vile creatures who claim responsibility for much of the orcish race's suffering seeks to regain some of its power.
Jessir Moonbow says: My two friends went looking in Jaedenar to prove one way or the other what was happening.

Dane knits his brow at the dubious placement of responsibility.

[Lode]: Well met, Jessir, I - oh.

Jessir Moonbow says: I expected them to be here when I arrived, but now they are days late.

[Celaven]: That is never a good sign.

Jessir Moonbow says: Please, since you have the numbers, keep an eye out for any sign of them when you return to that terrible place. I will take any news, for good or ill.

Velrin looks worried, "We can look for them."

Lode nods. "Yeah, we will tell you if we see anything. It makes even more sense they called on us if someone's already gone missing from going in without the numbers."

Dane grunts.

Azizia stops herself from nodding at Celaven's worrying statement.

Jessir Moonbow bows appreciatively.

[Lode]: We won't waste any more time, then.

[Dane]: Right.

[Celaven]: It does explain why they would want to send in a larger team.

Azizia nods at Celaven.

[Dane]: I'd not have any one of us brave those dens alone.

[Azizia]: Me neither.

[Lode]: Yeah, I didn't realized someone had already tried with just three.

[Dane]: This isn't the first day I've witnessed the elements being uncooperative.
[Dane]: Or heard rumblings of it.

[Lode]: You mean like what Islen mentioned about them being flighty?

[Dane]: Aye.

[Lode]: Hmm…

Celaven nods slowly at Dane. "Perhaps it is just a… passing elemental mood?"

[Celaven]: Or could it be the Nightmare has disturbed them?

[Dane]: Maybe. I know little of elements and their moods.

[Azizia]: Professor of mine says so too. Elements are… not like before.

[Lode]: Oh, you might be right…

[Dane]: It could be. I saw kobolds and murlocs in the nightmare.

[Azizia]: I'm not sure elementals dream.

[Celaven]: And that storm, at the end… it seemed very elemental.

[Lode]: Here is the main den.

Dane grunts.
[Dane]: I hadn't thought of that.
Dane says to Celaven.

[Azizia]: Hmmm. Me neither.

[Lode]: Who knows what all is down here if Great can't see in yet.

[Dane]: On your guard then, you lot. This is the big one.

[Celaven]: Is that a cage?

Captured Arko'narin says: So cold… and hungry.

[Dane]: It's an imprisoned elf, aye.

[Lode]: Whoah.

Captured Arko'narin is chattering to herself, restless in her cage. "My poor friend. I hope you've found peace. I can't stand to think about what they could have done to you?"

[Velrin]: Oh no! Are you alright, sister?

Captured Arko'narin becomes sensible to the approaching commotion and grips at the bars, eyes wide.

Celaven quickly casts a healing spell on the captured elf.

Dane sets his jaw. "We're allies. We've come to save you from this place."

Captured Arko'narin says: You! You there! Please, you have to help me escape. One of them has a key, can you find it? I know they have it. If you get it, you can help me get out of here.

Dane nods. "We'll see to it. Stay here, and be as quiet as you're able."

Captured Arko'narin /em bows her head at the healing spell, looking grateful, but frightened. "Trey is probably already dead, but there's still time! Please, can you help me?"

[Lode]: Sit tight. If we can't find the key we will bust you out one way or another shortly.

Dane grunts.

[Velrin]: We'll do everything we can, sister.

Celaven looks at the cage, which does appear to be bustable.

[Azizia]: We will be back very soon. *She turns around and whispers.* How do we find key in big den?

[Celaven]: Ah, a brazier.

Velrin's eyes burn when she spots the satyr. She lets out a bloodcurdling scream and pounces on him, shredding him to ribbons, a far cry from her ordinarily cold and economical fighting style.

[Lode]: Rifle every pocket you can find.
Lode kicks the satyr a bit.

Celaven blinks, and looks at Velrin.

Dane eyes Velrin up and down.

[Dane]: Another one, here. Let's douse it.

[Azizia]: I handle it.

[Velrin]: I'm sorry, Ven. I think it's still affecting me.

Azizia's head and horns are covered by rocks as she headbutts Jaedenar Darkweaver.

[Celaven]: The… nightmare?

[Lode]: I don't know, I think that satyr was handled pretty appropriately.

[Dane]: Aye. These are your enemies, Velrin. Give -them- your wrath.
[Dane]: Wretches that they are…

[Velrin]: No it's…
[Velrin]: It's something else.

[Azizia]: How so?
[Azizia]: Maybe we can help.

[Velrin]: Something happened to me after coming out of the nightmare.

[Azizia]: What something? *She already looks like she knows she can't help.*

Dane peers at Velrin searchingly.
[Dane]: Wot' was it?

[Velrin]: I, well… I found my shalan… She's a demon hunter.

[Azizia]: … shalan?

Celaven looks between Velrin and the others worriedly.

[Dane]: Joined ranks with the Illidari?

[Celaven]: Not exactly.

[Velrin]: No, not them. She's been one for centuries.

Lode snorts. "We've got to get that caged one out of here."
[Lode]: Find anything yet?

[Celaven]: Another brazier, but no keys.

Imrolane looks to Azizia. "Special one. Eternal bond of souls."

[Dane]: Aye.
[Dane]: It was -damned- foolish of them to come in with only two.

[Velrin]: She was held captive by satyrs for much of her life. Being near them makes me… uncomfortable to say the least…

Imrolane growls and nods deeply.

Velrin shivers.

[Azizia]: Oh…

[Dane]: Then they'll dread being near you.

Celaven squeezes Velrin's shoulder.

Velrin smiles in thanks to both Ven and Dane.

Dane casually tosses the slain warlock over to ransack its body.

Lode sniffs at the ground, hair rising on her neck and back. "Full of demons. We turn back."

Dane holds up the key. "Looks like this'd do for that keychain."

[Celaven]: Ah! Then perhaps tearing it asunder won't be necessary.

Azizia nods at Celaven.

[Dane]: Let's get back while that night elf still has strength left.

Azizia nods at Dane.

[Lode]: Yeah, I don't want to leave her there any longer.

[Velrin]: Me neither.

[Lode]: Not to be insensitive, but who knows how long she's been waiting.

[Celaven]: At least, not much longer.

Dane hands the key to Lode.

Imrolane briefly touches Velrin's shoulder, and says in Darnassian: "I am captured by satyrs. Those horrors will never leave me, and the rage almost devours me. But…duty and love pull me back."

Arko'narin says: I begin to wonder if I'll ever escape this cage.
Arko'narin says: It's only a matter of time before they sacrifice me to whatever demons they worship. The monsters!

Celaven looks at Imrolane in sympathy.

Lode nods a quick thanks to Dane and darts forward to wrestle with the lock.

Arko'narin says: The key, you've found it! Please, give it to me and I can finally escape!

Dane looks to Imrolane with a set jaw and a brow raised.

Arko'narin says: But, as much as it pains me, there is one thing that must be done first: I have to find Trey's sword Lightforge and escape Shadow Hold to tell my superiors what's happening here. Can you help me?
Arko'narin says: Our equipment isn't far from here, and you've already proven you can survive the path to the top.

Velrin places a hand on Imrolane's and responds: "It was unspeakable the things I felt living in her nightmare, but… With Ven by my side I feel strong enough to carry on."

[Lode]: Oh yeah, I think I might have seen some spots they might have been kept, back at the lower braziers.

[Dane]: We'll recover the blade, aye.
Arko'narin says: After we escape, I'll head to Darnassus if you can find my friend Jessir near the Ashenvale border. She was to meet us at the Emerald Circle's camp near there.
Arko'narin says: Please, friends.

Lode finally cracks the lock.

[Azizia]: We will help as we can.

[Celaven]: Yes, we spoke with her. She's there waiting for you.

Captured Arko'narin says: I'm ready, friends. Let's find my equipment and get out of here. I think I know where it is.

Imrolane nods to Velrin. "[Darnassian] Good. Hold that close to your heart."

Velrin smiles at Celaven.

[Lode]: Yeah, we met Jessir. I'm sure she'll be stoked to find out you're still kicking.

Dane eyes Arko'narin as she walks, searching for injuries.

[Lode]: "Lightforge," huh?

Captured Arko'narin says: Oh my! Look at this… all these candles. I'm sure they're used for some terrible ritual or dark summoning. We best make haste!
Dane kicks over some candles.

Celaven murmurs blessings for Arko'narin.

[Lode]: Ugh, just make sure she doesn't hurt herself without any equipment wandering around here.

Imrolane kicks over a few candles as they walk.

Azizia tries to make a burst of wind snuff out the candles. It doesn't work. Elementals are angy.

Dane eyes Azizia up and down.

[Dane]: Why are they so bloody disobedient?

[Azizia]: I do not know! They refuse to help!

Captured Arko'narin says: There! Over there!

Dane grunts lowly.

[Lode]: That's the stuff, huh?

Arko'narin says: All I need now is a golden lasso.
Arko'narin says: DIE, DEMON DOGS!

[Dane]: … Wot'.

[Lode]: oh, there she goes.

Arko'narin says: You kept me in that cell for too long, monster!

[Lode]: Don't worry, plenty of demon dogs where that came from.

Dane grunts.

[Celaven]: She is trying to match your enthusiasm, Vel.

[Dane]: Looks it.

Azizia chuckles at Celaven.

Velrin grins wickedly, "She'll have to try harder then."

Celaven lets out a hearty chuckle.

Arko'narin says: You kept me in that cell for too long, monster!
Arko'narin says: You will not stop me from escaping here, Jaedenar Enforcer!

Dane grunts as they get to fresh air. Or, fresher, air.

[Lode]: Almost out…

Arko'narin says: Ah! Fresh air at last! I never thought I'd see the day…

[Azizia]: You are free again.

Arko'narin says: What was that?! Trey? TREY!?

[Imrolane]: Do not drink rain. Gross.

The ghostly apparition of the armored paladin, Arko'narin's friend, rushes the entrance of the barrow den as they all emerge.

Lode frowns with disappointment at Spirit of Trey Lightforge.

Arko'narin says: NO! What have they done to you!?
Arko'narin says: You will pay for what you've done to Trey!

[Azizia]: … oh. Maybe I spoke too quick.

Azizia throws one of her weapons in the air and puts a flaming hand on Spirit of Trey Lightforge's face before catching her weapon again.

Arko'narin says: No! My friend… what's happened? This is all my fault…

Azizia kneels before Spirit of Trey Lightforge.

Celaven stares where the spirit vanished.

[Lode]: Whoah, did that ghost just try to light heal itself?

[Dane]: Looked to be the spirit of a paladin.

Azizia puts a hand on where the spirit, helping Trey travel through the spirit world.

[Lode]: There she goes. *grumble* Let's make sure she makes it back safe.

Azizia nods at you.

[Dane]: Right.

Celaven's expression is grim. "They've desecrated his spirit in some way, it seems."

[Lode]: Yeah, that ghost was pretty mad.

Azizia nods at you.
[Azizia]: I wonder why…
[Azizia]: I mean, yes, at cultists I understand. WHy at his friend?

[Lode]: I mean, we only found his sword.
[Lode]: Not him.

[Azizia]: Hmm, that is true…

[Celaven]: I think it is clear, at least, that he is dead.

[Dane]: Could've been some sort of mischief. Mind control.

Azizia nods sadly.

They return to the Emerald Sanctuary once more.

[Lode]: Hey, Greta, we got the braziers. Did you see a kaldorei with a big glowing sword tear through here?

Dane eyes Greta Mosshoof up and down.

Greta Mosshoof says: I was able to see you with my spells as soon as the last brazier's flames died. Well done, Cobalt. I did see her. I expect you'll want to check in with Jessir.

[Lode]: Yeah, we'll be right back with you.

[Dane]: You friend's been through here?
Dane asks Jessir.

Jessir Moonbow says: You were the ones who helped Arko escape, yes? I'm so glad you came back. She passed by here not too long ago on her way to Darnassus.
Jessir Moonbow says: Yes, she would tarry for nothing…

Dane frowns and grunts.

[Lode]: Yeah, she took off like an arrow. But I'm glad you saw her.

Velrin stands close by Celaven.

Jessir Moonbow says: She had Lightforge in tow and wouldn't even take time to speak to the druids to be healed. She said it was far too urgent.
Lode rubs her temple.

[Celaven]: I saw that she was healthy before she left Jaedenar, at least.

Jessir Moonbow says: But she did tell me about your encounter with Trey's spirit. What a terrible fate for a Knight of the Silver Hand. She didn't show it, but I know it's tearing her up inside, the thought of losing one of her closest friends.

[Dane]: Aye, fit enough to fight.

Azizia nods sadly.

[Velrin]: I know the feeling…

Jessir Moonbow says: She would like to pretend that she's fine. She'd love for me to think that she's strong enough to deal with all of this on her own, but I know better than that.

Velrin places a hand on Ven's back reassuringly.

Jessir Moonbow says: Trey's death and hearing the pain he was put through is going to haunt her for a long time, and there's nothing we can do to stop that. But we can give her some peace!
Jessir Moonbow says: Please, return to Shadow Hold, kill Trey's torturer and find his remains. There is no reason we can't tie off all these loose ends while Arko'narin mourns in her own private way.

Celaven nods, glancing over at Vel.

Dane glares, and nods. "We'll see him avenged."

[Lode]: That is, fortunately, a kind of peace we can actually deliver.
[Lode]: It may not bring him back, but it'll kill some demons.

Dane nods slowly, wiping rainwater from his eyes.

Jessir Moonbow bows sharply, her face resolute.

[Velrin]: A good plan. I don't intend to let these monsters breath the air of my homeland any longer. Poisoned or not.

[Celaven]: A Knight of the Silver Hand, working together with a Kaldorei warrior. I do wish the story had a happier ending.

[Azizia]: We will help him. With priest and shaman, together, he will be safe in spirit world.

Greta Mosshoof says: Good to hear you have been able to bring them some closure.
Greta Mosshoof says: I learned a few things before the Shadow Council's warlocks were able to recast their spells. Hopefully it will be enough.

Dane grunts inquisitively at Greta.

Greta Mosshoof says: Unfortunately, I see the only way to stop this threat to Felwood is a frontal attack.

[Lode]: So, just finishing what we started.

Greta Mosshoof says: There are no other ways into Shadow Hold, and I have no means to teleport you inside. The straight path down to the bottom is the only way… and I also know who you should seek out.

Dane sets his jaw and narrows his eyes at 'frontal attack.'

[Celaven]: We have the numbers and the ability, we can do this.

[Dane]: Aye. Now.

Greta Mosshoof says: His name is Fel'dan… Shadow Lord Fel'dan. He is the mortal in power down below… he is the head of the serpent.
Greta Mosshoof says: Kill him and his two succubus servants and return to me. Fel'dan is the one making pacts with the Legion. He must be stopped.

[Velrin]: A bit clumsy, perhaps, but I think we can manage. *she winks at Dane*

Dane grunts mildly.

[Lode]: Now that we got that sentinel out of there, we won't have any impediments to finishing the job.

Imrolane howls, "Eat their faces!"

Greta Mosshoof nods grimly. "Good. Travel safely and end this threat."

[Dane]: Aye. We can slaughter anything that moves.

Lode thumbs up at Imrolane.

[Dane]: One last venture into the foray.

[Lode]: Let's do it.

[Velrin]: Tor ilisar thera'nal.

[Azizia]: Not face eating, however

Celaven smiles at Imrolane. "Perhaps not, as they may be contaminated."

Azizia points at Celaven. "This, but also more generally. No face eating. You never know where faces have been."

[Dane]: At least they can be ripped off.

Imrolane peers at Celaven. "Mmm. You priest their faces. I eat their faces."

Celaven chuckles at Imrolane. "I think that's a reasonable compromise."

Velrin giggles.

Dane swiftly dismounts without breaking pace.

[Lode]: That's a shortcut.
Lode kicks aside candles right and left. "Last one in the danger hole's a soggy morrowgrain."

Azizia lets out a long, drawn-out sigh.

Dane aims to land on top of the Legionnaire.

[Lode]: To the depths! We find the tormentors.

[Dane]: Cut them all down!

Imrolane belts out a savage roar of encouragement!

Velrin is practically sprinting through, cutting down demons and cultists without breaking her stride.

Azizia's head and horns are covered by rocks as she headbutts Jaedenar Darkweaver.

Lode growls.

[Dane]: This is it, then…
[Dane]: Slay them all.

[Azizia]: Succubusses.

[Celaven]: This does look like the place.

[Lode]: Foul ritual den. Kill!

Dane looks to Lode.
Dane approaches the emains of Trey Lightforge with a glare.

[Azizia]: Oh, no, I was wrong, only one succubus here.

On inspecting the body, there is no doubt that these are the remains of the Knight of the Silver Hand, Trey Lightforge.

[Azizia]: It is him, then?

[Dane]: This is him, then.

Velrin frowns at the dead body.

It might be possible to consider Arko'narin and question if anyone in one's life meant as much to you as this man meant to the night elf captive recently helped escape to Shadow Hold.

Azizia nods at Dane.

[Dane]: We can't take him back wthout killing his torturer.

Lode stares at the desecrated remains for a moment, her ordinary casualness about carnage momentarily exchanged for simmering. "Someone take him. Or I will."

Azizia places a had on the corpse's hand. She tries to help guide him to a better place.

[Celaven]: Is the torturor further in?

[Dane]: Must be. Skulking about somewhere, in the dark.
[Dane]: We avenge him, then return him.
Dane suggests.

Azizia nods at Dane.

There is only enough of what remains of Trey Lightforge to fit in a small sack, easily carried without burdening one down. With the mounds of skulls piled all around, one can only wonder how many unfortunate souls may have met a similar fate.

Dane carefully avoids the skull piles.

[Lode]: Come. For as wretched as this place is, I do not believe any of these to be Fel'dan.

Dane grunts.

Dane points at Shadow Lord Fel'dan.

[Lode]: Two succubus.

[Celaven]: Ah, more succubi ahead.

[Azizia]: There are succubuses.

[Dane]: There. And his minions…

[Azizia]: Succubi?

[Dane]: Wot'ever it is, kill them!

[Lode]: It must be. Go.

[Velrin]: To think that the Legion could have tainted this place so thouroughly.

Dane pushes the heavy orc corpse around and raises his brutal cleaver to sever its head with a few clean strikes.

[Celaven]: At least we have removed the worst of it.

Azizia nods at Celaven.

Imrolane sinks her fangs into Fel'dan's face to pick up the severed head.

Lode peers past Fel'dan deeper into the barrow. "I am curious. But we should speak to Greta about that." She points to the head dangling from Imorlane's mouth.

Azizia looks away. That is all very 'ew'.

Dane scoffs with amusement and hands the head over to Imrolane.
[Dane]: There you are, then.

Imrolane snorfles in approval.

[Celaven]: Let's find our way out then?

Azizia nods at Celaven.

[Velrin]: This place is great. I've used it for an RP event before too.

[Dane]: I'm… not a praying man.
[Dane]: If any of you have words, now's the time.

Azizia turns to Celaven.

Lode rumbles and observes the skulls.

Celaven steps forward and says a low prayer in Darnassian.
Velrin takes Ven's hand and gives him a look seemingly askign if he wants help.

Dane glances around with a disgusted glare.

[Celaven]: [Darnassian] Mother moon, please see this man's soul safely past the desecration it has suffered and into your eternal embrace.

Dane takes a step back to sober up after the prayer.

Lode is quiet for the speaking, then adds, "No one else will be harmed here, now."

[Celaven]: [Darnassian] Shine your light into this darkest place.
Azizia looks at the ground solemnly at the prayer.

Dane turns and starts to sift through the skulls without toppling any pile.

Celaven rests one hand on the altar, and looks without surprise at the underground beam of moonlight.

[Dane]: I warrant… his torturer knows of our arrival, and is on their way to enact swift vengeance for us -butchering- their comrades.

Azizia nods at Dane.

[Velrin]: Let them come. I'm not finished with these demons yet.

[Dane]: This is the largest den? How many more of this size surround the Mount'?
Dane asks the night elves.

[Lode]: With Fel'dan dead and the enclave weakened, I'm sure the Emerald Circle would welcome help with ensuring the problem is extinguished, for good. *to Velrin*

[Velrin]: I'm afraid I can't really speak to the size of many barrows. They're sacred sites for druids, not Sentinels.

Imrolane sets down her toy…er, the head…and takes elven form. "I remember many. Maybe more now."

[Celaven]: Nor priests. I know there are many.

[Dane]: After the Lich King's fall we may've the manpower to go through each barrow, one by own.

Velrin nods to Lode, "Maybe when the Lich King is dead I'll come back." she looks at Ven, "Although I did have some other plans in mind…"
Lode bows her head. "Many dens lay from Ashenvale northward. My next task after this is to possibly see to contamination in Winterspring."

[Dane]: We've done enough here.

[Lode]: Priest, will you carry him?

Dane looks to Celaven.

[Celaven]: Yes, I would be happy to.

Azizia smiles at Celaven.

[Lode]: You have treated him will. Thanks.

Celaven lifts the body of Trey Lightforge, light swirling a little as he uses it to assist with the weight.

The sack is light. Hopefully the paladin will be given the proper respects once his remains have been passed on to his friends. At least his spirit has been released from any pain or suffering that might have been forced upon him.

[Dane]: Let's return.

Azizia 's head and horns are covered by rocks as she headbutts Jaedenar Enforcer.

[Lode]: We are finally rid of the place.

Azizia nods at you.

Dane smoothly dismounts with a grim expression.

Imrolane sets the severed head down at Greta's hooves.

Greta Mosshoof looks up , eyes bright, at everyone returning. "I have seen."

[Dane]: We've brought you a prize.

Imrolane noses the head a little closer to the tauren.

Greta Mosshoof says: Without Fel'dan, the Shadow Council will hopefully lose focus and start infighting - oh? Oh.

Imrolane looks so proud.

Azizia sighs, shrugging at Greta.

Greta Mosshoof steps back a bit, looking a bit put off by the gorey severed head. "Oh yes, that's him. Ahem, eh, they will struggle with one another for control and hoard assets for future plans"
Greta Mosshoof That will be an opportune time to devastate them and their demons.

[Dane]: Ought to make them weak, aye.

Greta Mosshoof says: Earthmother be.. praised? *she collects herself* Yes! Thank you! This is a great day, indeed!
Greta Mosshoof says: The Shadow Council will be hard pressed to scale to the same levels of power they once held with this blow to their hierarchy. You have done a great thing this day!

Velrin smiles as best as she can manage right now, "Yes. This is a great day."

[Azizia]: It is, yes. *She gets closer, whispering.* Very sorry about face. That is… whole thing in this party.

Celaven smiles, but sadly, as he looks down at the body of Trey.

[Lode]: Great to hear. You should talk to Velrin here if you need anything really devastated. *she nods to Celaven, motioning to Jessir.*

Greta Mosshoof gets a bit flustered and motions frantically for Kalek to helpher with the head.

Dane looks to Jessir, marching over, his hair matted with water making him look like a very large and angry bipedal hound.

Celaven walks slowly over to Jessir. "I regret we were unable to recover Trey alive, but we have at least ensured that his spirit is at peace."

Jessir Moonbow says: I was about to ask how things went in Jaedenar. *She looks down sadly at the remains of Trey, and extends her hands to take the sack.*

[Celaven]: I have brought his remains, so that they can be put to rest. *Celaven hands it over.*

Jessir Moonbow takes the remains of Trey, and clenches her teeth as she considers, then her expression turns to gratitude and triumph. She has already accepted the man's death.
Jessir Moonbow says: You've done it. Praise be to Elune and whichever powers you worship. You have done an honorable and noble thing this day.
Jessir Moonbow says: I am certain Arko'narin will be pleased that you not only took the time to save her, but to also slay the creature who tortured one of her best friends.

Azizia smiles sadly.

Jessir Moonbow says: I wish I could do more for you, but please, take one of my blades. May it serve you and commemorate your selfless actions.
Celaven bows before Jessir Moonbow.

Lode clasps one hand over the other fist in a short bow, acting for once somewhat like a proper kaldorei. "May it cut away evil in honor of your friends."

Velrin bows before Jessir Moonbow.

Dane lifts a brow, and nods, but says nothing.

Azizia bows before Jessir Moonbow.

[Azizia]: I will keep preciously.

[Lode]: Velrin, will you take keep of the blade? This is your home, after all.

[Azizia]: Oh, right. *One* blade.
[Azizia]: Yes, Velrin, take blade. *She doesn't feel sorrowed by the loss of a blade.*

[Velrin]: Azizia can keep it if she'd like. *she starts to tear up* I cannot express how much it means to me that you all came to help with this mission.

[Azizia]: No, no, it will be in better hands in yours.

[Azizia]: I mostly fight with fists of mine.

[Celaven]: I'm glad we were able to do something to help Felwood heal.

[Azizia]: It is better you keep memory of time helping here for all us.

Imrolane nods firmly to Velrin. "This is Cenarion true path."

[Dane]: I only traveled these woods briefly before the war, but I remember a time when they were much fairer than this.
[Dane]: We are allies, and we never forsake our Alliance.

Lode stalks forward to accept Jessir's dagger and put an end to the issue. "It is an honor token. Thank you Jessir. It will have a place with me."

[Celaven]: I hope that one day they will be fairer again.

Azizia nods at Celaven.

Velrin starts to cry silently. She sniffles and inches over to Dane to try and give him a hug.

Jessir Moonbow says: Be will as you go, friends. Seek me out in Darnassus should you ever have need. I will see to Arko'narin.

[Azizia]: Yes, take care of her. She was very affected.

Lode nods to everyone. "Good work today. Thank you all for answering the call."

[Azizia]: It was honor for us.
[Azizia]: I must go, I do not like this rain. Fel… affects Draenei very much.

[Lode]: I'm going to follow up with the Circle and get the particulars on what's up around Winterspring. Send the word back to HQ and all.

Dane stiffens briefly before he wraps an arm around Velrin and gives her a powerful squeeze, patting her back a few times.

[Lode]: Fly free, birdies.

[Dane]: There you are, then.

Azizia takes her hearthstone and begins teleporting back home.*

Lode begins to vanish off to moonglade.

Velrin squeezes back and tries to kiss him on the cheek. "I won't forget this, Sir Dane. Thank you so much."
