Hostilities continue in Wintergrasp, but there’s nothing new to report this week.
Company News
Blue Squad this week concluded the Hyldsmeet in a dramatic drake-back fighting tournament circling the Temple of Storms. They emerged victorious and were able to rouse Thorim, guardian of Ulduar and the Terrace of the Makers, from his grief. He is now on board with trying to fix the things that have gone awry in Storm Peaks, including recovering Ulduar from his brother Loken. The first step in this path is to end the war between the Sons of Hodir (frost giants) and the Hyldnir, and to rekindle friendship and alliance with the giants. Our team helped the giants recover their special anvil from a fire giant and elementals, and seems to be making good progress on the friendship front.
White Squad is also dealing with the Loken-and-Ulduar problem, but with prospective Earthen allies and iron dwarf enemies. Brann and our squad successfully reassembled the keystone to the Ulduar archives, despite an army of iron dwarves that tried to stop them. A big surprise for White Squad this week was a visit from King Magni, here to see his wandering brothers Brann and Muradin, who I can report now is the king of the Frostborn Dwarves. After this reunion, our squad went to the assistance of the Earthen, who were expelled from Ulduar by Loken. They helped keep the Earthen healed up, and then freed a number of mechagnomes that had been reprogrammed by the iron dwarves.
