Prospector Brannagen Stillwall

Dear Ma,

Remember how last time I said you ought to sit down? Well this time you should maybe lie down. I've been looking forward to the day I could tell you I met Brann Bronzebeard in person, and then I had this other thing I've been sitting on a while that I couldn't tell you, and today those two things crashed into each other with a third falling out of the sky on top of it. And those three things were all Bronzebeards, Ma.

Muradin's alive too. That's the part I couldn't tell you. After Arthas almost killed him he lost his memory for a bit and somehow still managed to impress the Frostborn so thoroughly fighting off the local monsters that they went and made him their king. It wasn't on us as a bunch of mercenary grunts to tell him who he was, or to take away a people's king, but the captain of Cobalt Company did decide it was probably best to tell our king, real quiet like, and let him decide what to do. Apparently what he decided to do was hop a portal to Northrend.

Meanwhile, White Squad (that's my squad) had met up with Brann Bronzebeard and managed to recover an important Titan artifact, being chased by Iron Dwarves the whole way. And I do mean the whole way; they were jumping onto the wings of Brann's flying machine and we kept having to kick them off. If you'd told me this time last year that I'd be hitting dwarves made of solid iron with a stick while standing on the wings of a flying machine piloted by Brann Bronzebeard, I'd have asked you what you'd been drinking and where I could get some. So I understand if you don't believe me.

But of course the second we landed and Brann saw this "King Yorg Stormheart" of the Frostborn he'd been dying to meet, he recognized him immediately. And seeing Brann jogged the poor rattled man's memories back into place just in time for King Magni to show up and congratulate him on his new job. So there we were, White Squad, just standing there seeing all three Bronzebeards there together in the flesh having a little family reunion. It was especially meaningful for the three of us who happened to be Bronzebeard dwarves.

Ace Stormhammer and I were over the moon about it all — you know her family I reckon — but Oranna Stormbreaker — she's one of the founding members of Cobalt Company — was too busy being worried about the fact that Muradin immediately set off to find Arthas. I'm sure it'll be fine. If anyone knows what we're dealing with in that Lich King, it's Muradin — the soulless bastard already killed him once.

In other news — and by news I mean speculations that are based in at least some hard evidence but are speculations nonetheless — Greatfather Winter exists, and his name's Hodir. White Squad's been to his place. He wasn't home. But that's a story for another time, and for in person when I can make all the dramatic hand gestures.

Your loving son,

Brannagen

P.S. I know what you're thinking, Ma. Neither of them's looking to marry me or anyone else for that matter, so don't even bother making insinuations.
