Annibeth Jansen Jonas Hazan Ionala Maisha Cloudskimmer Mayellen

Mayellen and Jonas are in the common room of the inn at Menethil Harbor, waiting for the team to assemble.
[Mayellen]: I'm glad Maisha called us all out here. I forgot to ask her what the job was.
[Mayellen]: I uh, might be a little rusty with the… *She glances around* … magic stuff.
[Jonas]: Something about a ship. I… don't expect it's a maritime job, though? I didn't pack for a voyage.
[Mayellen]: Hm, interesting!
[Mayellen]: Well I can help us breathe underwater if it goes awry, haha. If I uh, remember how.
Maisha comes in and heads over when she spots the two.
Maisha waves.
[Maisha]: Oh, hey everyone! Seen Nala yet?
[Jonas]: Ah, and now she can tell us.
Annibeth joins the group as well.
[Annibeth]: Hey, Maisha!
[Jonas]: Hullo, Maisha. Haven't, no.
[Mayellen]: She'll be here! So what's the plan?
Jonas still has his arm around Mayellen's waist. He shifts closer to her to make room in the circle.
[Maisha]: Alrigh', so we've been called in by th' merchant marines.
[Maisha]: Seems they had a ship they were expectin' last week, an' its not showed up yet.
[Mayellen]: What are we to do?
[Jonas]: … they know I can't track things at sea, aye?
Mayellen laughs at Jonas.
[Maisha]: We can go talk t' Karl for specifics, but we're meant to look about the coastline, see if we find signs of… well… a week late an' from Southshore, they reckon the boat's no' exactly intact anymore.
Ionala comes in the door and joins the team.
[Ionala]: Hello! I remembered I had to go get something from the vault, so I'm late.
Mayellen pumps her fist. "Yes!! We'll have to look underwater too, I bet! My time to shine!"
Mayellen smiles at Ionala.
Maisha grins.
[Annibeth]: Hiya, Nala!
[Jonas]: Hello, Nala.
Jonas smiles at Ionala.
[Maisha]: Shall we go get our debriefin'?
[Jonas]: Aye.
[Maisha]: Or briefin'? Which one comes 'fore the mission.
Mayellen giggles.
Jonas lets go of Mayellen's waist at last, reluctantly.
[Jonas]: Briefing, before.
Annibeth glances around at the others. "Oh, uh…we s'posed to be wearin' Cobalt colors for this?"
[Jonas]: I assumed. Because job.
[Maisha]: Reckon so? I won't say nothin' if you'd rather yer own fashion.
[Mayellen]: I'm still under the impression that I am not good PR for Cobalt.
[Jonas]: I'm sure it's fine, we've a majority of tabards.
[Annibeth]: Pfft.
[Jonas]: They'll get the idea.
[Mayellen]: I'm a little surprised I haven't been kicked out yet, actually.
[Annibeth]: They better not!
[Mayellen]: I feel like Ference has just gotten busy and forgot.
[Jonas]: You do good work, May.
Mayellen blushes.
[Annibeth]: You're the best PR for Cobalt.
[Mayellen]: Well just… no one remind him he let me in, okay?
[Maisha]: I'll keep mum on it.
Annibeth leans over to Jonas and whispers, "What's PR?"
Jonas leans back to Anni and murmurs, "Public relations. Attention."
[Annibeth]: Ooooh, riiiiight.
[Ionala]: I don't see why. You helped catch a murderer!
[Jonas]: I feel like Sir Elohad might pretend to forget rather than kick you out.
Mayellen blushes more.
Maisha waves at Karl Boran.
Karl Boran says: You’re the team from Cobalt Company? Great, you got here in good time.
[Maisha]: Tha's us, sir!
Mayellen salutes Karl Boran with respect.
[Annibeth]: Ayup.
Karl Boran says: Perfect. Let me lay out the situation for you. I was expecting a ship, the Salty Heron, to come in from Southshore last week. It’s a quick journey, or so it should be.
Jonas mouths 'Salty Heron' to himself a little dubiously.
Karl Boran says: At first I thought maybe she’d run into some foul weather, but now it’s been a week of no word. I’m starting to worry she’s gone badly astray or worse.
[Mayellen]: We'll look into it, sir.
Maisha nods seriously.
Karl Boran says: I appreciate it. What’s more, the Heron was carrying supplies for the war effort in Northrend, munitions and so on. I was meant to transfer that to one of our icebreakers here, so now we’re all off schedule.
[Mayellen]: Oh, no.
Jonas raises his eyebrows.
[Annibeth]: Aw, !@#$.
[Jonas]: That sounds pretty serious.
[Maisha]: We'll get on tha' right away. Any leads to start with?
[Mayellen]: You can count on us.
Karl Boran says: Right now, I'm at a loss as to what’s become of the Heron, but I was hoping you could investigate the coast for any clues. If they’ve crashed near the coast of the Wetlands, there might be some kind of driftwood, or…
Mayellen nods at Karl Boran.
Karl Boran says: Their figurehead is a heron with its wings outstretched, so if you find any part of that, it’s a sure sign the Heron’s fallen at sea.
[Mayellen]: We'll keep our eyes peeled.
Jonas nods gravely.
They head north out of the harbor town to a coastline infested with murlocs.
Mayellen rides a very normal horse that is not on fire.
Mayellen slaps at a bug on her neck.
[Annibeth]: Ugh. Murlocs.
[Maisha]: What do you reckon happened to th' ship?
[Mayellen]: Stay inconspicuous, Ziltuk.
[Jonas]: Nothing, I hope, if it's carrying munitions for the war effort.
[Jonas]: Just… a weather delay, or something?
[Annibeth]: But a week late?
Jonas shrugs.
[Maisha]: I hope so.. in which case maybe it'll jus' be there when we get back. But yeah, a week?
[Mayellen]: I hope the Horde weren't involved…
[Jonas]: Shipping's a tricky business. I saw enough of it in Southshore — not always clockwork.
[Maisha]: I've no' ever been involved in tha' sort of thing.
Mayellen randomly hugs Nala.
Ionala hugs Mayellen.
Bluegill Puddlejumper attempts to run away in fear!
[Jonas]: I can't say I've been involved. But I've heard enough dockworkers' complaints.
[Maisha]: Boats often late?
[Jonas]: Late, early, unpredictable….
Mayellen listens with interest, obviously not too informed on matters of sea trade herself.
[Jonas]: A week is….
[Jonas]: A week is a lot, though.
Maisha peers in the distance. "There's a wreck there, but I do no' think that's ours. A bit obvious."
[Mayellen]: There are some wrecks from the 2nd war around.
Jonas whistles.
[Mayellen]: That one fleet, I forget the name.
[Mayellen]: Big famous doomed fleet.
[Maisha]: That's a right long time ago now.
[Maisha]: Some twenty years, innit?
[Mayellen]: Something like that, yes.
[Mayellen]: But I mean, ships are made to hold together in the water… so their wrecks do too.
[Maisha]: I s'pose that makes sense.
[Mayellen]: I've heard stories of people finding wrecks even older than that.
[Maisha]: I'm much more partial to air m'self.
Jonas laughs at Maisha.
[Mayellen]: They'll get… barnacles or whatever all over them, and turn all strange…
[Maisha]: Older'n twenty years? Huh.
[Annibeth]: There's this wreck on the Westfall shore me and my brother used to play around in. 'Fore murlocs moved in, anyway.
[Jonas]: I wonder if the salt helps? Sort of… pickle them? As opposed to freshwater rot.
[Mayellen]: Maybe.
[Maisha]: Pickled ship. Anni, was yours a pickled ship?
Jonas does not know that much about ships.
Mayellen giggles.
[Annibeth]: Uhhh…hehe…
[Mayellen]: Well, Westfall's salt water, so.
[Jonas]: Someone lick one of those wrecks.
[Mayellen]: Ew!
Jonas grins at May.
[Maisha]: See if it's like a pickle. *Maisha chuckles.*
[Maisha]: This stuff here, it doesnae look much like murloc goods?
[Annibeth]: Dang thieves.
[Jonas]: … no, these are proper crates. Some of them have the Alliance stamp, but… I can't tell how old it is. See here?
Mayellen peers at the boxes.
Jonas points to a faded lion mark.
[Mayellen]: Yeah, it's not definitive, but someone is probably missing those.
[Maisha]: Alliance goods, aye. Wonder how we could tell if these're our Heron goods?
[Mayellen]: If we open them up maybe there is a… um, paperwork stuff?
[Ionala]: Perhaps cargo crates were stamped?
Mayellen nods at Ionala.
[Mayellen]: Look on all sides of the box for other marks.
Maisha peers. "I don't see anything past the lion. Maybe we ought to ask Karl if there's some mark we ought to look for? Or particular contents?"
[Mayellen]: Should we pry one open? Or wait for further instructions?
Jonas looks around at the others uncertainly.
[Ionala]: We know where to find them. We could come back?
[Maisha]: You can pry if you like? But I'm no' sure what exactly I'm looking for. He said 'munitions' but that could mean a number of things.
[Jonas]: This lot aren't… that is, you can't smell any… gunpowder or the like, can you? I can't.
[Mayellen]: I should… maybe not pry. Let's do what Nala said.
Maisha nods. "They'll be here, if we come back."
Mayellen salutes Maisha with respect.
They report back to Karl Boran.
[Maisha]: We did no' find any sign o' herons, but there were a bunch o' Alliance crates. Might be your ship's?
[Jonas]: Couldn't tell how old they were. Stamps were faded.
Karl Boran says: Hm, a number of ships have sunk off the coast over the years, like that doomed fleet for one. They could be from anyone.
[Mayellen]: Might we have permission to crack one open?
Karl Boran says: Aye, give that a try. If you see gunpowder, cannonballs, that sort of thing, it might be our cargo.
[Jonas]: Is there a particular cargo mark?
[Jonas]: A stamp or a number series or the like?
Karl Boran says: Not particular to the Heron, but I've got the expected manifest. It should all just be marked Alliance military.
[Mayellen]: Oh, can we have a look at the manifest perhaps?
Karl goes through a stack of papers in his satchel, till he hands a smaller stack over to Mayellen.
Karl Boran says: Don't lose it, of course, but I can't think of anyone more qualified to have it to hand than the team on the investigation.
[Jonas]: Thank you, sir.
[Maisha]: We'll jus' go an' see if any of these crates match up.
[Maisha]: I see some crates up there! They got them all over this murloc village.
[Maisha]: May, you want to ha' a look and see if it matches?
Mayellen pokes the crate ineffectually.
[Mayellen]: I do not have the proper tools for this.
[Jonas]: Hold on, I have a knife. I can pry.
[Mayellen]: I thought you might have some sort of pry thing.
[Jonas]: It's older, though, I think. Something's rotten inside. Straw or… something.
[Mayellen]: Maybe… uh we don't pry it open then.
[Maisha]: Mayhap one o' the older ships then?
[Mayellen]: Also munitions don't really rot.
Jonas takes out a hunting knife and carefully wedges it under the lid at one side. He gets a corner of it up and then steps back and makes a face.
[Jonas]: Musty. Aye.
[Mayellen]: Okay, moving on, then.
[Maisha]: Let's check elsewhere… plenty o' crates here. Could be some they added recent to th' collection.
[Maisha]: Looks like a shipboard barrel. Maybe gunpowder?
[Mayellen]: Poke it, Jonas!
[Jonas]: It's cheese.
[Jonas]: Uh. You can — tell. That it's cheese.
[Maisha]: …cheese?
Jonas has not opened the barrel yet.
[Annibeth]: Uh…please don't poke barrels that might contain black powder….
[Jonas]: Can you smell it? It is… not fresh cheese.
[Ionala]: Oh, yes. That's cheese!
[Mayellen]: I can't.
[Mayellen]: But I'm uh, back here.
Jonas glances at May.
[Jonas]: Aye.
Maisha leans closer and grimaces. "Uh, yikes. Yeah, cheese."
[Mayellen]: For some reason I stood far away from the barrel that might be gunpowder, silly me.
Mayellen giggles.
Maisha laughs.
[Maisha]: Probably a smart plan, May.
[Annibeth]: Ah, a chance to use this freshly sharpened blade.
Mayellen stands back from the barrel.
Annibeth sniffs at the barrel.
[Jonas]: I don't smell gunpowder. Do you, Anni?
[Annibeth]: Okay…it ain't 'splosive.
[Mayellen]: Buncha barrel-sniffers.
[Maisha]: Good fer us, but also means its probably not the Heron.
[Annibeth]: Hey you'll be glad for my barrel-sniffin' when you don't get blowed up!
[Maisha]: Looks like all this stuff is old ships, aye?
[Jonas]: Aye.
[Maisha]: Hm, might be we're on the wrong track here. Or th' ship never made it so far. Maybe there's another lead we can follow up.
[Maisha]: I dinnae want to kill murlocs forever if there's no ship ta find.
[Annibeth]: I dunno. Only ship I ever worked on never left its dock.
They head back to Karl Boran to report.
[Maisha]: We checked a number o' crates, but did no' find anything like from the Heron.
[Maisha]: Any other ideas where ta check?
Karl Boran says: Hm. Maybe what we need is to consult with someone more in tune with nature. Maybe the ship’s washed up somewhere we haven’t noticed, and there’s been evidence in the bog.
Mayellen looks at Jonas.
Karl Boran says: There’s a… well, a bog beast… that the harbor guards have been friendly with. Calls itself the Greenwarden. Think you could go ask its advice?
Jonas tries hard not to look back at Mayellen. He nods solemnly at Karl Boran.
[Mayellen]: A… bog beast?
Mayellen 's expression suggests that her contract may not cover conversations with bog beasts.
Karl Boran says: Yes, I know it sounds far fetched, but sometimes you've got to think outside the box, am I right?
[Mayellen]: You're sure it's… friendly?
Karl Boran says: Yes, I've spoken with it before. It's pretty weird, but it seems decidedly non-hostile.
[Jonas]: We can speak with the… bog beast, sir. The Greenwarden.
Karl gives a sigh of relief. "Alright. You'll find him pretty far into the swamp itself, but he's connected to the land all over, from what I understand."
Maisha nods and moves away from the marine.
[Maisha]: Tha's no' what I would have expected for a second step, but okay.
[Jonas]: No one ever expects bog beasts.
Maisha chuckles at Jonas.
[Mayellen]: I'm gonna let one of you naturey hunter types talk to the bog beast.
Ziltuk says: Are you afraid of the bog beast, Mayellen?
[Maisha]: We got this. *Maisha nods*
[Mayellen]: SILENCE.
[Jonas]: One of us naturey types, Aye.
[Mayellen]: Uh, not you, Maisha. That was Ziltuk. You can't see him, but he's here.
[Annibeth]: Is it okay if I kick your imp, May?
[Mayellen]: If you can find him, please do.
[Annibeth]: You betcha.
Ziltuk says: Not fair! No kicking!
[Maisha]: I betcha I could freeze him in ice.
[Mayellen]: I think you'll find that is in your contract, Ziltuk.
[Maisha]: Watch out fer traps, Ziltuk!
[Mayellen]: Clause C subsection 9, corporal punishment in the event of misbehavior may be administered by Master or anyone Master delegates.
[Maisha]: Huh, I've got no such contract fer Lucky.
Jonas blinks. He keeps his gaze straight ahead.
Mayellen giggles at you.
[Mayellen]: I saw that look, Jonas. I did not write the contract. I copied it.
[Jonas]: Sure.
[Mayellen]: I cannot be bothered to write specific terms for my demons.
[Mayellen]: And I trust Captain Tyrrell to know what he's doing.
[Annibeth]: Whoa…
Maisha whispers, "Who wants to talk to it?"
[Mayellen]: Not it.
Annibeth backs up.
Ziltuk says: I'll do it!
[Mayellen]: No.
Jonas clears his throat. "You or me?" he asks Maisha.
Maisha looks from the bog beast to Jonas. "You're taller."
Jonas stares at Maisha for a moment.
[Mayellen]: Go on, Jonas. Be all courageous and stuff.
[Jonas]: Right. All right.
[Mayellen]: Some girls like that.
[Jonas]: Pardon me, er. Greenwarden?
Jonas bows before Rethiel the Greenwarden.
The bog beast turns towards them but, true to Karl's word, does not attack.
Rethiel the Greenwarden says: What brings you here, little ones?
Mayellen looks ready to obliterate it if it lays a frond on Jonas.
[Jonas]: We were hoping you might be able to — help us find something.
Rethiel the Greenwarden says: Find something? Lost in the swamp? So possessive you little ones are.
[Jonas]: It isn't ours, exactly. But it's lost and we're concerned about it. For… the safety of people.
[Jonas]: It was a ship? Is a ship?
Rethiel the Greenwarden says: A ship? A ship may be lost in my swamp? *The Greenwarden looks baffled for a moment, and then continues* Ahh… the coast. My knowledge does stretch that far.
Jonas nods respectfully.
[Jonas]: Do you know whether any ships have… any damaged ships have washed up recently?
Rethiel the Greenwarden says: Perhaps. I would see what I can find for you, to keep your people safe. But… I am busy caring for this land, keeping my people safe.
Rethiel the Greenwarden says: Perhaps we trade tasks for a time, and I will help you find that which you seek?
Mayellen sighs at Rethiel the Greenwarden.
Jonas looks inquiringly at the others.
[Mayellen]: Why not.
Maisha shrugs.
Jonas nods.
[Jonas]: All right. What would you like us to do?
Rethiel the Greenwarden says: I would ask you to take over handling the gnolls. I have no problem with gnolls in moderation, but there are so many. They are throwing off the natural balance.
Rethiel the Greenwarden says: I ask you to reduce their numbers for me, to restore balance.
[Annibeth]: Oh, that we can definitely do.
[Maisha]: Aye, yes, that is in my repre reppor… in the things I know how ta do.
[Jonas]: Aye, all right.
[Jonas]: Er. Which way to the gnolls?
Rethiel the Greenwarden says: To the south, in the direction of Loch Modan.
Jonas nods.
[Ionala]: Upstream, maybe?
They head out to balance some gnolls.
[Maisha]: How've you all been keepin', by the way?
[Mayellen]: Busy with work but good!
[Mayellen]: I'm not broke, for once.
Maisha chuckles. "Reckon that's mercenary work for yeh."
[Maisha]: Keeps busy, gives coin.
[Jonas]: Oh, we found them.
[Mayellen]: Oh well I've mostly been doing tailoring, rather than mercenary— wait, are tailors mercenaries?
[Mayellen]: If I don't work at a shop or something?
[Maisha]: …I suppose its doin' a job fer money?
[Maisha]: Mercenary usually means combat though, aye.
[Maisha]: So yeh've been seamstressing?
[Mayellen]: yes.
[Jonas]: Is that a verb?
[Mayellen]: For a mother with a lot of kids.
[Maisha]: Is it no'?
[Jonas]: I think it's just 'sewing'.
[Mayellen]: Kids who keep changing sizes.
[Maisha]: Ach, kids do tha'. Maybe human kids more'n ours, more size change ta get to.
Mayellen laughs at you.
[Jonas]: I can see why he wanted their numbers thinned.
[Maisha]: Anybody I know, the family wi' kids?
[Mayellen]: Sorry if that scared anyone.
[Maisha]: Ach, no, I trust yeh.
[Mayellen]: Oh no, just a nice human lady from Stormwind.
Annibeth notes the last place she saw Ziltuk's fireballs coming from, and takes a swing with her foot…missing. "Dammit."
[Mayellen]: She lost her husband and her job, and for a long time her kids were basically starving and in rags.
[Maisha]: Oh, goodness. I hope things're better for 'er now.
[Mayellen]: Then she got a great new job, yes.
[Maisha]: An' the kids.
[Mayellen]: So of course the first thing she does is feed and clothe her kids.
[Mayellen]: But the problem was she ordered the clothes before she'd done much feeding.
[Annibeth]: So now the kids're fat.
Maisha laughs.
[Mayellen]: After they got fed enough for a month or two they - yeah, needed all new clothes.
Ziltuk says: I saw you trying to kick me, Annibeth Jansen.
[Maisha]: I hope she could manage ta get th' new clothes now, too. Wi' the new job.
Ziltuk says: One day, I will be free, and I will find you and — *he is interrupted as Mayellen kicks him.*
Annibeth laughs at Ziltuk.
[Mayellen]: Yes. I think her kids finally have enough clothes that fit now.
[Maisha]: That ought ta clear 'em out well enough.
Mayellen cheers!
They head back to tell the Greenwarden that the gnolls are handled.
[Maisha]: We ha' held up our end o' the deal.
[Jonas]: Greenwarden, we've cleared out several of the gnoll camps along the river.
Maisha nods at Jonas, remembering she's smoller.
Rethiel the Greenwarden says: And I have kept up my end as well. I have indeed found some recent wreckage, perhaps drifting with the current. I do not know if it is the ship you seek.
Jonas straightens sharply. "Can you — tell us where it lies?"
Rethiel the Greenwarden says: Off the coast, to the south of your settlement. You may need to swim.
[Mayellen]: I GOT THIS.
Mayellen clears her throat. She got excited.
[Jonas]: We wi— er. Aye.
[Jonas]: We can handle that.
Rethiel the Greenwarden says: Best of luck, and I do hope your people are safe.
They ride for the coast! They pull up short at a steep bank that leads into the water.
[Mayellen]: Oh, man, I have been dying to try out my water breathing spell. But uh… I should maybe practice first.
[Mayellen]: On Ziltuk.
[Maisha]: This is controlled, though, so yeh can try it.
[Maisha]: If it does nae work, we can surface, aye?
[Mayellen]: It's the first thing I've learned that I feel like is really practical and helpful.
[Mayellen]: Well, if it doesn't work, trying will just get you a lungful of water.
[Mayellen]: That seems bad.
[Mayellen]: So I'll try it on Ziltuk first.
[Maisha]: Should we try somewhere 'round here?
Mayellen casts the spell on Ziltuk and drop-kicks him into the water.
[Jonas]: It's south of the settlement, anyway. We co—
Jonas blinks at Mayellen.
Ziltuk says: Wheeeeee!
Ziltuk says: I love when she does that.
[Maisha]: Uh, did it work?
Ziltuk says: *popping back up to the surface* I can breathe fine down there! And I am contractually obligated not to lie to Master! As fun as that would be.
[Maisha]: Inta th' water we go?
[Mayellen]: Have fun breathing water!!
[Annibeth]: Welp, into the drink!
Maisha dives in without hesitation.
Mayellen beams proudly.
Maisha laughs underwater. There's bubbles.
Ziltuk says: So here's the delicious irony. Her spell doesn't apply to me because I can breathe underwater anyway. Hahahahahaha!! You could have all drowned! Kind of sad you didn't.
[Mayellen]: It's quiet time now, Ziltuk.
[Annibeth]: Please kick him again….
[Maisha]: I believe yeh over yer demon, May.
[Maisha]: Now… where's this wreck.
[Mayellen]: I'd kick him, but I'm starting to think he likes it.
Ionala flicks her hand and a bolt of holy energy strikes it.
Annibeth laughs!
[Maisha]: Think I spy somethin' ahead!
Ziltuk says: No fair bringing a priest…
Fully submerged, there is the scattered wreckage of a ship. It's still recognizable as such, even though it's heavily damaged and splintered by what looks like possible cannonfire.
[Mayellen]: Uh oh.
[Mayellen]: Whatever ship this was, it did not go down by accident.
[Jonas]: That… didn't sink of natural causes, no.
Maisha swims around to where the bow would be, and there is a part of a bird at the figurehead, with half a wing.
[Mayellen]: Welp.
[Maisha]: Tha' look like a heron ta you?
[Mayellen]: It does.
Ziltuk says: The plot thickens!!
[Annibeth]: Yer head thickens.
[Jonas]: It looks like… a figurehead carved to look sort of like a heron, by someone only vaguely familiar with herons.
[Jonas]: But aye.
[Maisha]: Should we check if there's still cargo aboard?
Ziltuk says: Thank you for noticing the thickness of my head.
Maisha snorts at Jonas. "I'd have ta see the whole thing, but yer not wrong."
Jonas smiles at you.
There is almost nothing by the way of cargo on the wreck.
There are, however, murlocs. More fighting is required.
[Mayellen]: Jeez, murlocs.
[Ionala]: Can't stand them!
[Maisha]: Always murlocs.
[Mayellen]: Who like murlocs??? Nobody.
[Maisha]: So, I dinnae see any munitions. Might be a robbery. A piracy?
[Jonas]: Where's the cargo? Does anyone see crates? Besides — I count two, here.
[Mayellen]: I blame the Horde.
Maisha laughs, but then sobers. "Do you think? Could just be buccaneers?"
[Annibeth]: Got a gunpowder barrel here. But it's all definitely soaked through.
[Jonas]: Blaming the Horde is…
Jonas sobers.
[Jonas]: It would be a bad time.
[Mayellen]: Soon as he said a ship full of Alliance munitions went missing I thought Horde.
[Jonas]: For them to be up to piracy against Alliance ships.
[Maisha]: Maybe they would, if they thought they could no' get caught.
[Mayellen]: They're trying to fight the Lich King AND us, so it makes sense they'd take our stuff to fight the war while also crippling us.
[Mayellen]: I'm really mad at the Horde right now. Sorry.
[Maisha]: Aye. *Maisha looks troubled.* Even if it is pirates, then… what would they do with munitions? Sell 'em. To who? Horde…
[Mayellen]: Yep.
[Ionala]: It would be hard not to be mad at the Horde right now, honestly.
[Mayellen]: Horde stink all over this.
[Mayellen]: But we'll have to do more investigating.
[Mayellen]: Luckily that's what we do best.
Maisha nods.
[Maisha]: We'll get to th' bottom o' this.
Jonas nods slowly.
[Ionala]: yes! we will.
Mayellen smiles.
[Maisha]: Just like we did with that murderess.
[Mayellen]: That's the spirit!
Mayellen gently pats Ziltuk.
Ziltuk says: aaaa it burns
[Maisha]: Fer now, we can report to th' merchant marines we found their ship, an' its no' comin' to port.
Mayellen nods at Maisha.
[Annibeth]: I promise not to blow up a house this time.
Mayellen thanks Annibeth.
Maisha laughs.
[Annibeth]: I mean…I'll try my best, at least.
Jonas smiles faintly at Annibeth.
[Maisha]: Shall we head back to th' harbor fer now?
[Maisha]: Figure out our next steps…
Mayellen cheers!
[Mayellen]: I love that spell!
[Ionala]: The inn is nice.
[Mayellen]: So nice to be able to do some kind of magic that isn't horrifying.
Maisha smiles. "It was right helpful, it was."
[Mayellen]: On that note, shoo, Ziltuk, you're dismissed.
I believe Ionala said something about the famous fish and chips in Menethil, and I was out of range.
[Jonas]: Oh, aye? Fish and chips?
[Ionala]: In the inn.
[Jonas]: I may stay a while, then.
Mayellen cheers!
[Maisha]: Ah! I'd be in fer some fish an' chips m'self!
Maisha follows them into the inn.
