It’s a good time of year to meet new people! We seem to be encountering all sorts of new factions lately, and I have hope that some of them will be strong allies.
Alliance News
I have some positive news from Stormwind this week! In the House of Nobles, Lord Ference has been instrumental in securing kingdom support for development in Westfall. As I write, work is commencing to build up the defenses of Sentinel Hill, including a nice wall to keep the villagers safe.
Company News
Our teams have been continuing their work in the Storm Peaks! This week, White Squad assisted the goblins against the magnataurs and snobolds attacking K3 from Garm, ultimately putting an explosive end to hostilities. They’ve then been sent to assist a nearby Explorer’s League outpost. There, they learned that the Explorer’s League has made contact with the friendly Frostborn Dwarves, who are led by King Yorg Stormheart. Our squad is already working together with them to locate missing scouts and address dangers in the area.
Blue Squad continued their efforts to recover goblins and supplies taken by Hyldnir (not snykel, I suppose). While rescuing our goblin contact’s brother, they were assisted by a vrykul illusionist (or Yrkvinn) by the name of Lok’lira. She helped our team in infiltrating the Hyldnir and provided considerable information about the current state of affairs in Storm Peaks. To note, the Hyldnir are loyal to the guardian of Ulduar, Thorim, who has been absent since the death of his wife Sif by his brother’s hand. To reach Thorim and inspire him to handle corruption in Ulduar, our team has entered into a ‘Hyldsmeet’ fighting competition.
