Morningdew’s been arrested in Stormwind City on a triple murder charge. Priests, no less. He was found standing over the bodies, directly outside his home. He claims to have been seized by a bright light and a violent pain, and that when he came back to his senses, the bodies were there. He believes it is somehow related to the business of the Scourge knight who has been hunting Miss Westwind.

I am in the process of arranging a lawyer for him, and verifying Miss Westwind’s safety.

I trust you understand how this jeopardizes every fucking thing. I can extend my support only so far before my own credibility is incontrovertibly damaged. If you have aid or information to lend in the matter, I suggest you do so. I will stand by him as long as I can; how long that is remains to be seen.

I expect you’ve heard the news about the arrest of the Ebon knight here in the city. In view of our current project it seems de trop to engage you as counsel in the particular matter as well, but both my wife and my sister speak very highly of your daughter’s legal acumen, and I understand she managed the Harbrooke business admirably. Would Lady Alwynneria be willing to take on the defense in this case? I will, naturally, cover all fees.
