Captain Tyrrell,

It has come to my attention that a friend of mine’s son has gone missing – of particular importance to why I am writing you about such is that it is Lady Ekorenine Spellbond’s 20-year-old son Lord Gausanders Spellbond, a warlock of Cobalt Company, who has had associations with the warlocks of Stormwind in the past, and the date of his disappearance was the day after the news that Count Wishock’s death may have been caused by the warlocks of the Slaughtered Lamb was revealed.

It occurred to me that it is not impossible that there is a connection there, given what they did to your student, and it was not difficult to know that although Lord Gausanders had connections that should have stood in protection of him, that he was currently not in active service of Cobalt Company and he was not in communication with his mother. Such was the state of it that the disappearance was not noted until weeks later. If he had witnessed anything, or been another one of those that they had attempted to use in such a manner as Miss Mullby, it is possible that someone tried to tie off a loose end. I realize there is a chance that they may have already silenced him permanently, but perhaps it is not too late.

Anything you could do at all to attempt to locate him through that network of warlocks, or discover if there was anything at all involved in the situation with Count Wishock, I would be most grateful for it. Even if all you can tell me is that they are most certainly unrelated, it will be appreciated, so we may better allocate resources elsewhere into a different investigation. It is important to me.

Sincerely,
Avrenne Esprit

PS – Do say hello to Greygale for me while she waits so patiently, will you? And don’t forget to unclench your teeth, Captain.
