Sir -

I respectfully decline your request that my people re-enter Whisper Gulch in pursuit of Mr. Squeeg Idolhunter and elimanate him.

It has been suggested to me that this request was made as part of a plan you have concieved to clear out the place. I understand your wanting to do it but I advice you also in the strongest possible terms that you should not. Unless you want to lose a whole lot more people. The best thing in my opinion would be to barricade the whole place off and forget it is there. I would reccommend that you cave it in but I am concerned that any detonation will potentially lay open the earth or other wise expose in the open what ever is buried down there and what ever it is it had damn well better stay buried.

Again Sir I relay this in the strongest possible terms. My team is all steady and solid fighters who have served in such places as the Plaguelands and the Outlands against Scourge and the Burning Legion. We have been at the fall of Tempest Keep and the reclaiming of the Sunwell and at the Battle for Light’s Hope Chapel. We are two paladins and a priest among us. What ever is down there none the less got in my people’s heads and my own in a way so ugly that I will not ask them to go down in there again. The Explorers that we met down there were completely gone with it. Every last one of them ranting about “IT” and “the truth” and “That Which Must Not Be Named” and every last one of them trying to kill us. If you value your people like I know you do then you will not send them down into that. My collegue and fellow officer Lt. Anchorite Paluuva will confirm the same.

I also adviced Sapper Steelring to put the ore samples we brought at your request right back over the edge into the gulch without anyone working them. I am letting you know because I want to be sure this has been followed up on. We were asked to bring back ore and so we did per the brief but I do not believe that ore is safe to be worked or even handled by anyone.

Again I reiterate that I will not be taking my people back into the gulch. It is with the upmost respect that I decline but I do and will decline. If this is in issue for you then you may take it up with my Captain Jocoza Sparkwire once we are open to communication with the Borean Tundra advance.
