Nesselos! It is so good to hear from you. What a strange coincidence that you have met such a very nice warlock. This very nice warlock would not happen to be a member of the Cobalt Company <she spells out both words as Common by close sound transliteration>, would he? Or have funny ideas about uncorrupting demons back into regular lifeforms? Because I have met one such human since I joined here. Oh oh, yes, I should confirm that. I joined this same company Erixa is in. Just by a strange roll of the die on chance!

Now, I am not an expert on the demons or the fel, I fear. For a better set of ideas, it might be worth asking the anchorites. Your idea to use a totem to draw out fel like we use to draw out poisons is an interesting one. Fel usually has dramatic reactions to the Light, but maybe if we combined an anchorite's magic-purification with the water spirit's pull? I would not ask water to pull it unaided. Fel easily corrupts and spreads through bodies of water, like in the night elf lands. Getting a spirit helper corrupted seems like a good way to scare them off from you!

As well, this is also an interesting question, on whether someone who has practiced warlock techniques can turn back from that. On this point I have to admit something. While I know that orcs have contributed a lot to shamanism, and I have many shaman friends of many peoples, I have never really talked to an orc about it, and I do not know if any of them personally went from doing warlock magic to shamanism. Nobundo heard the elements speaking instead of learning from the orcs, and besides that I am a little afraid of them. On the other hand, they are a part of the Earthen Ring <transliterated> on Azeroth. It is a question I could ask when I get brave.

If there is something I can say that might be hopeful sign, though, it might be that even the Earthen Ring orcs on Azeroth are green from touching the fel, but they still have not become demons and they share our practice. They seem to have recovered from the fel frenzy and look different forever, but live like uncorrupted persons. Maybe that is a good sign for the warlock friend if he is showing bad effects of fel.

Most of all, I think the most important part to stop being a warlock is just to stop touching fel! And if you are making any sacrifices of one's own lifeforce or anything else to get the fel, stop that like yesterday! Just the willingness to consider it makes me think it is not too late to pull them back from worse and worse danger.

Since I have been on more worlds than you so far I thought I should mention something that appears consistent to me. The fel energies are very well known for doing tricky things to the personality the longer you are exposed to it, even before total corruption takes hold. In a way that is a little spooky, it somewhat seems to magnify the traits that make someone more likely to do things that make even more corruption and fel. If not outright cruelty, at least turning the personality into a direction that is more likely to cause chaos, sadness, sacrifices.

I worry that someone nice who goes down this road may not stay nice forever. It is probably very good to reach our hand out with forgiveness if they want to change.

Oh, one last thing! About what I am doing with the Cobalt Company. It turns out they are really famous and people ask for my help with a lot bigger problems than I ever expected now. I was mainly doing elemental repairs on land in Draenor the past couple of years, and sometimes little jobs for Sons of Lothar and Sha'tar. Now it is a whole lot bigger! I asked who in the company is responsible for warlock business because I want to learn more about what kind of safety rules the Alliance in general uses. I have not spoken to them yet, but Linakowit is the name you might ask for.

Wow, this letter got so long! I guess it is because you asked about some things that were already on my mind lately. I want to hear all about who you have met on Azeroth and how things go with warlock son and guard dad. You should write later, or we meet for a shaman circle!
