Sir Elohad Ference Jocoza

Jocoza comes down the stairs, her face alight with excitement, and waves at Elo as she comes to sit next to him.
[Elohad]: Hey there, cap'n! How's it going?
[Jocoza]: Going great! Good to see you here. *She beams at him* I just found a really impressive candidate for our Cobalt Blade team!
[Elohad]: Nice! Tell me everything!
[Jocoza]: Okay, so… she's 7th Legion, hand-picked as a recruit by Wyrmbane. She was one of their scouts over in Silithus, during the war.
[Elohad]: You're kidding me. That's amazing! You sure she'd be interested?
[Elohad]: We really could use a scout, with Phil still in … remedial training.
[Jocoza]: I'm pretty sure she would! The thing is, she just gave birth, and she's having trouble getting back up to speed.
[Jocoza]: So she's on leave from the 7th, and looking for something to ease her back into combat situations.
[Elohad]: Whoa, she— *his expression shifts abruptly, wary.* Waaaait a minute. Do I… know this person?
Jocoza giggles a little and blushes. "Uh… maybe, yeah. I thought I'd lead with the credentials."
[Elohad]: Joooo…
Elohad gives her a Dad Look.
[Jocoza]: But she would be so perfect, Elo! And you know she has so much experience.
Elohad facepalms and heaves a very dramatic sigh.
[Elohad]: Is she going to be able to keep her attitude under control? Avoid running off to live in the jungle every time we hire one of her exes?
[Jocoza]: She has really turned around since the old days. *Jo looks at him earnestly* Really. She's been doing good work with the 7th.
[Elohad]: Do you happen to know who she reports to there? Maybe I can just… double-check that what she says she's been doing is actually what she's been doing.
[Jocoza]: And the ex thing is, I think, over. She and Sharpgear are pretty well a thing now. Not sure what thing, but a permanent sort of thing.
[Elohad]: Aw, really? *He brightens.* That's… unexpected. But nice. He'll be a good influence on her.
Elohad has apparently never met Finnegan J. Sharpgear.
Jocoza 's eyes widen a little bit and she looks like she might burst into laughter. But she manages to keep it in and just nods agreement.
[Jocoza]: As for who she reports to… Tyrrell? The same one who's training Lena. I've heard he thinks highly of Tadget.
[Elohad]: …Huh.
Elohad considers.
[Elohad]: She's certainly… got charisma, of a sort.
Jocoza nods, hopeful.
[Elohad]: I mean, every good story needs a spunky loose-cannon gnome, right? So long as she's not TOO loose of a cannon.
[Jocoza]: I'll keep an eye on things, make sure she doesn't go overboard.
[Elohad]: I'll just send a note to Tyrrell confirming that she hasn't just made up everything or whatever. And then… sure, I guess it's worth giving her a shot. We have any other leads on a healer or… a mage or something? Would love a mage.
[Elohad]: Real shame Bonk decided he wasn't ready.
[Elohad]: Maybe you can poke around in the uh, mage community? Is there a mage community?
[Jocoza]: Yeah, I like Bonk. At least we've still got him in Cobalt, right? Maybe he'll get a little confidence as things go on.
[Jocoza]: Sooort of. *Jo considers* I know the gnome mage community better, because it's smaller, because… you know. But I could poke around the Stormwind tower, Blue Recluse, see who I can shake up?
[Elohad]: Sure! That'd be great. I almost never get out that way anymore, and traveling's a bit easier for You People.
Elohad winks slyly.
Jocoza grins. "I do like being nomadic."
[Elohad]: Human mage. Find us a human mage. Hopefully an attractive or at least interesting one. Someone with a good story.
[Elohad]: I'm still dead-set on finding a draenei shaman, it's just a matter of finding the time to head to Exodar to find a nice fresh one.
[Jocoza]: Human mage, got it, *Jo nods* Pretty or interesting, preferably both.
[Elohad]: I did talk with one already who seemed nice, there was just… I dunno. Nothing special about her. She's going to apply to Cobalt though, for sure.
[Elohad]: A shaman, I mean.
[Jocoza]: Oh, what was her name?
[Elohad]: Kaerix. If I can't find anyone who really wows me, I guess I'll have to settle for her, but something about it just doesn't feel quite… *he makes sort of… jazz hands… in the air* You know?
[Jocoza]: Yeah… maybe don't tell her that. But I know what you mean, you're really going for a certain feel with this team.
[Elohad]: She's definitely a cutie, but she doesn't seem to have much of a story, and she's very… agreeable. Maybe a little too agreeable. Like she just says whatever you want to hear. There's no pizzazz there.
[Jocoza]: I do not think Tadget will have any problems in that direction. And maybe you'll just have to walk around the Exodar till you find someone stubborn.
[Elohad]: Yeah. I'll make another trip soon, if things ever settle down around here. Light, I wish I could tell you what Blue Squad's into right now, but suffice it to say, stuff's gone to hell at Medivh's tower and now we have to figure out how to investigate.
[Elohad]: I don't want to say too more until we're cleared to do so. Can't even tell you who has to clear us.
[Jocoza]: Oh, I'm the one who relayed the request to Ben, which… I guess does not necessarily clear me to know the result.
[Jocoza]: All I heard was troubling signs at the Tower.
[Elohad]: Yeah. We've learned a great deal that eventually I will tell you in full. Suffice it to say right now we're looking for a way in there.
[Jocoza]: Into the Tower? It hasn't been open in a long while, has it?
[Elohad]: It's just been sitting there empty, as far as anyone knew.
[Elohad]: It's seeming like it might be… slightly less empty than previously assumed.
[Elohad]: But all the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't break down that gate, so we're going to have to find more arcane means. We're on it though, don't worry.
[Jocoza]: That… doesn't sound like good news. Well, I hope you all stay safe and find the answers.
[Elohad]: White Squad doing all right out there?
[Jocoza]: Yeah, from what I hear. They've finished their work with that hermit smith and everything.
[Elohad]: Remind me about the hermit smith?
[Jocoza]: David Wayne, was helping them make a demon-killing weapon if I recall.
[Jocoza]: They're still in Outland, but if this thing with the Tower heats up, we may need to go all hands on deck.
[Jocoza]: But that's for the future. For now, I leave it to you to investigate.
Elohad nods crisply. "You can count on us."
[Elohad]: I'm gonna get back to sorting through some of these incoming requests, but you know where to find me if you need anything.
[Jocoza]: Of course. And thanks. *Jo hops over to give him a hug*
Elohad grins and hugs her back warmly. "Take care, friend."
