Ben is sitting alone at the upstairs table, rocking his tipped-back chair, his foot up on the table's edge. He's frowning at some knitting.

Downstairs, Bruuna wrinkles her nose a bit as she waits for yet another customer to patronize her father's establishment.

[Bruuna]: Welcome ta Bruu– ah damn, he's gone.

Sil bounces up the stairs to take a seat across from Ben. "Hey! Workin' on something for the baby?"

Ben glances up. "Sil, hey." He grins. “Naw, s' for Mizmainy. For Winter Veil.”

Ben squints at the knitting again.

Bruuna sighs and watches the door with a thousand-yard-stare that would make any priest stop for a double-take and inquire about the starer's welfare.

[Sil]: Gettin' started early, huh?

[Ben]: Yeah. I mean, I am hopin' if I get started now, I will have time to get it right before Winter Veil.

Ben smiles wryly.

Sil nods. "What's it gonna be? A scarf?"

Bruuk Barleybeard is as cheery as usual, and waves for Bruuna to make the rounds.

Bruuna sighs at Tisa Martine.

[Ben]: A hat, *he says optimistically, and holds up what is at the moment sort of a lopsided scarf-looking thing for Sil to see. It is a pretty shade of moss green.*

Bruuna eyes the pair at the table. "So. Orders?"

[Sil]: Oh, you're takin' over for Edris tonight? I'll have a beer. Can we get like, maybe six? In case other people come.

Ben blinks at Bruuna and lowers his knitting. He glances over at Edris and then back to Bruuna, and tilts his head agreeably toward Sil. He also takes his boot from the table's edge and sets his chair down properly in the presence of New Staff.

[Ben]: An' maybe some pretzels or somethin'? Sorry, you new? I'm Ben.

Bruuna blinks at Sil and nods. "Six fer ye, an'… yeh, new as of th' past week. Da's puttin' me back in th' salt mines. Pretzels. Sure."

[Ben]: Da– *Ben looks at Sil.* Huh.

[Bruuna]: Da! SIX BEERS AN' A PRETZEL! Upstairs!

[Bruuna]: I dunno, Da! Maybe tha's jus' how they proportion their evenin'! I en't lookin' inta their wallets!

Sil turns back to the partially knitted creation. "Aw, that'll look great on Miz."

Ben grins at Sil and sets the knitting aside on the table. “Anyhow, uh. Yeah, I am hopin' she will like it? The color, an' all. If I get real ambitious I will see if Lena can teach me to — uh, the other thing, with the needles? You can make, like, flowers an' sh*t? Out of yarn?”

Azizia enters Bruuk and goes upstairs, a sprite darter on her shoulder.

[Sil]: Um… crotchet, something like that?

[Ben]: Yeah, that's the one. Crotchet. Croshet? I dunno.

[Sil]: Bet Lena knows, she likes strings and things.

Sil notes Azizia and waves. "Come on in, we got beer! Soon!"

Ben nods respectfully to Azizia.

Azizia bows down graciously.

[Azizia]: Hello… *She hesitates for a long time.* Silvarin and Bennestre?

[Ben]: Ben an' Sil is okay.

[Sil]: Close enough. *Sil chuckles* Go with the first bit and you got it.

[Ben]: I like your shirt.

Bruuna strides back upstairs with borderline military precision, balancing a plate on top of six beers on a platter. The plate bears a solitary pretzel, as if it were capturing a spirit tower alone.

Ben considers the single pretzel with some confusion.

Bruuna flashes a single nanosecond of smile. "Here ye are." The platter is deposited with the most minimal customer-facing charm.

[Ben]: Uh. Thank you, Miz Barle– okay.

Ben takes plate with the single pretzel and sets it carefully on the table, in case anyone would like a (1) pretzel. He distributes beers.

Azizia watches the one pretzel. She stares at it. For a very long time. "… Anyway. Thank you, you are very well-dressed as well. Very fashionable for human."

[Ben]: I wonder if maybe Edris would s– Oh, well, thank you, ma'am. *He smiles at Azizia.*

Terrineth makes her way upstairs

Sil accepts a beer and takes a healthy gulp. Then he glances over to see the newcomer. "Hey, Terri!"

Ben glances toward the stairs and sits up. "Hey, Terri. Been a couple've weeks. How's it goin'?"

Ben slides another beer from the platter preemptively over to the empty seat at the table.

Terrineth waves back casually, "Been ok." she takes a seat with her bottle and glass and gets to work.

[Bruuna]: No, Da, I didn' ask if they want'd three slices o' roast, on account they're no' me distant relations come fer a weekend visit! Light, I dunno wha' yer thinkin' half th' time anymore.

[Ben]: You all know each other? Terri an' Az– zazzy?

Terrineth raises an eyebrow at the draenei, "Hmmm… not sure I do…"

[Azizia]: I do not think we have met, no. *She glares at Ben for a second, then turns to Terri, before bowing.* I am Azizia.

[Terrineth]: Terrineth. Nice to meetcha.

[Bruuna]: Oi! You lot! Da wants t' know if… ye all want t' try th' roast. Apparently there's roast. Which is news t' me.

[Ben]: Miss, we would love some roast, if that is okay. Your Da's roast is great. Is there potatoes?

[Sil]: Sure, roast sounds awesome! *Sil flashes Bruuna a smile.*

[Azizia]: Pleasure to meet you too, Terrineth. *She turns to Bruuna.* Not for me, I do not eat meat.

Bruuna pinches the bridge of her nose with a glove that is not at all the usual garb for a barmaid. "I can… check."

[Ben]: There usually is? *Ben calls after her helpfully.*

[Azizia]: I see service has improved since last time I was here.

Ben lowers his voice and observes ruefully, "… I am not entirely clear how come her Da wants her workin' here."

[Sil]: She don't seem to like it all that much, even though we're friendly, *Sil adds in a low voice.*

Azizia nods at Sil.

[Ben]: What y'all been up to?

Ben takes a sip of his beer and props his foot on the table's edge to tip his chair back again.

[Terrineth]: Just been fightin’ more I guess. *She rolls her shoulders back.* But I've been doin a lot more bounty work these days. The Cobalt name is doin wonders for the pay, let me tell ya.

Ben flashes a smile at Terrineth and raises his drink to her.

[Sil]: That's good to hear! *Sil holds up his beer as well.* Bringin' more pride to the Cobalt name!

[Ben]: Well, an' I reckon your work is doin' good for the Cobalt name, yeah. It is a circle, see?

[Bruuna]: Well, Light in th mines, Da, maybe because I'm a damn paladin initiate, no' a servin' girl any longer! Jus' cuz Sir Nestoran got 'imself kilt up th' Plaguelands does no' mean I'm jus' t' be pickin' up where I left off! LIGHT!

Azizia nods. "It really does help–" *She goes silent and listens to what's happening downstairs.*

Terrineth grunts and shrugs, "I guess." She sips her drink.

Sil looks down the stairwell curiously.

Bruuna returns with roast on plates. Four plates. With potatoes. Boiled, mashed, and stuck in a stew, all together.

Ben is relieved to see there is not just one (1) potato.

Bruuna mutely passes out the plates to everyone. "Appreciate th' patronage." She squints at a droplet of gravy on the table and carefully wipes it up with a nod.

[Ben]: Thank you kindly, miss.

[Bruuna]: Aye, no' a problem.

Ben looks like he does not quite believe that.

[Sil]: Maybe you ought to bring up paladin things, next time she comes by…

Azizia looks at her plate. "…I…"

[Ben]: Here, I can take that. You want the potatoes, though?

Ben reaches helpfully for Azizia's plate.

Azizia moves her plate away from Ben's hands. "If the friendly approach does not make her like job, maybe another approach will." She gets up with her plate in her hands.

[Bruuna]: Look, Da, I 'ppreciate Ma an' ye tryin' t' help but I'm no' fit fer this any more, I don' think.

Ben looks with some trepidation after Azizia and the roast.

Bruuna glances at Azizia.

[Bruuna]: Blast. Ye said no meat, did ye no'? Damn.

[Azizia]: Yes.I said no thank you to roast, because I do not eat meat. Why did you bring plate for me, then?

[Terrineth]: What about you two? Any fun stories I should know about?

[Ben]: Fun, I do not know about. Mos'ly just workin' my ass off. And dealin' with family sh*t.

Ben gestures with his fork at Sil. "He's the fun one."

[Bruuna]: Force o' habit. Nothin' pers'nal, ye ken. Apologies.

Bruuna holds out a hand for the plate.

[Sil]: I mostly just been wanderin' round Outland, camping and such.

[Sil]: Gonna be some more serious work comin' up though, might make for good stories.

Ben nods vigorously. His mouth is full.

[Ben]: Shquadsh gon' back shoon.

Terrineth grunts, "Well that's good. Sh*t's been too f*ckin boring lately."

[Azizia]: Well I better not pay for this. *She hands her the plate, her move quick and brash.*

[Sil]: You comin' over to Outland too, Terri? Plenty exciting over there.

Ben tips his head, listening warily for any sounds of shouting or glass breaking or hair-pulling or something from downstairs.

Bruuna takes it and nods.

[Bruuna]: Da, I'm goin' on me break.

Bruuna grabs a fork from nearby and jams it into what was previously Azizia's roast.

Terrineth drains her glass and fills it again, "Thinkin bout it. To be honest though, I'm just itching for a real Light damn fight. The guild hasn't had no one worth the trouble for a while."

[Ben]: Then you got to come to Outland for sure. Should see some of them fellows in Shattrath Lower City.

[Sil]: Oh yeah, real brawlers down there. We had to beat some up.

Azizia turns to Bruuk. "When I go somewhere to eat or drink or buy, I want certain level of professionalism. I believe you should consider hiring new helpers, because some you have are having struggles."

[Bruuna]: Been tellin' 'im tha' fer some time now.

[Bruuna]: See, Da? I need a diff'ren' job!

Ben winces as Azizia's voice carries. "– oh, hell," he mutters under his breath.

Sil glances down the stairwell again, more worried now than curious.

[Azizia]: Well, if he doesn't listen, people might have to find better establishment.

Bruuna walks back past Azizia and heads upstairs.

Terrineth seems unfazed by the ruckus, "Oh yeah? What kinda guys we talkin?"

Ben glances over at Bruuna, and then at Sil, wide-eyed. He clears his throat and addresses Terri. "Aw, just some types hangin' around down there lookin' for trouble on the regular."

[Ben]: Reckon your guild could get some sh*t goin' if they moved some operation.

Azizia enjoys a few seconds alone before going back upstairs.

[Ben]: An' give those fellows someone their own size to pick on, 'stead of refugees an' orphans.

Sil nods at that last.

Terrineth chuckles, "The brawlers ain't the same thing?"

Bruuna rips through her meal in record time, but anyone with half an eye can tell she's paying more attention to the conversation at the table across the room.

[Ben]: Sure they are, but they ain't exactly in the same shoes as homeless ladies an' priests an' kids. They want to scrap for their money, let 'em do it honest.

Terrineth shrugs at Ben

Ben glances warily over at Azizia’s return. He nods once.

[Sil]: All okay down there?

Azizia clears her throat. "Yes. More or less."

Ben looks from Azizia to Bruuna and back. He nods and tucks back into his roast.

Sil looks from Azizia to Bruuna, and then can't seem to help himself. He says, "Miss, looks like we got a extra beer or so, 'case you're interested."

[Ben]: Also a pretzel.

Bruuna firmly rises to her feet, brushing the crumbs away with perfect precision.

Azizia stiffles a smile at Ben's comment.

Ismene comes skipping up the stairs.

Ben blinks. He sits up abruptly, dropping his foot from the table's edge, and reaches hastily for the knitting on the corner of the table. He yoinks it into his lap and eyes Mizzy.

[Ben]: … well, hey, kitten-cat. I was not expectin' you.

Ben smiles at Ismene.

Terrineth catches a glimpse of Ismene and looks a little disappointed when Ben calls to her.

Ismene stops halfway to Ben's chair. "Oh! A baby sprite darter! I should have brought Mariestraza."

[Sil]: Mizzy, you're in Bruuk's? *He says it like maybe she hasn't noticed yet, and she might be upset when she does.*

Ismene completes her cross and bends, for once, to kiss Ben on the cheek. "No one ever expects me here. It always goes so poorly. Hello, Sil!"

Ben picks up his plate and starts to rise to his feet, considers the knitting in his lap, and does a very unsubtle sleight-of-hand to tuck it under his arm. He gets to his feet, trailing moss-green yarn from beneath his elbow, and kisses Mizzy on the forehead

[Ben]: Go on and sit.

Ismene sees no yarn.

Terrineth eyes Mizzy suspiciously for a moment but her expression quickly returns to normal.

Azizia bows to Ismene. "Oh! Do you also have one of these ugly flying lizard?" She pats her pet — which is resting on her shoulder and not on Sil's head — on the head.

Ismene doesn't argue, either. She's learned that much. "I do! Only… um… I don't call her that, of course."

Azizia chuckles at Ismene's comment about her sprite darter. "I do like their color, but they look a little weird. But I have gotten this one very recently and love it very much even though it looks like that."

Bruuna smiles. "So, ye workin' fer mercenary work, then?"

Ben smiles at Bruuna and nods respectfully.

Ismene smiles at Bruuna. "Hullo. I'm Ismene Hazan. I don't believe we've met."

[Bruuna]: I en't met any o' ye. Pleasure. I'm Bruuna Barleybeard.

[Ismene]: Oh! What a good dwarven name.

[Sil]: Good to meet you! And yeah, we're all pretty much mercenaries with Cobalt today, looks like. The group varies, week to week.

Bruuna takes the proffered "extra beer" and eyes Ismene over the rim.

Sil pushes the sixth beer invitingly toward Mizzy.

Ismene wrinkles her nose at Sil.

Ben uses the opportunity of Mizzy's inattention to step back and crouch to stuff the knitting in his pack. He rises nonchalantly to his feet again.

[Bruuna]: Wha' ye think 'bout dwarven names in general fer usual use, then, miss?

[Ismene]: They're usually very descriptive. I think it's nice.

Bruuna gives Ismene a what-are-you-really-on-about sort of look before nodding slowly.

[Ismene]: Like Sil's new name, Silentstep. It tells you up front who you're dealing with.

[Bruuna]: Sneaky bugger, are ye?

Bruuna does not sound like she puts a value judgement on that.

Ismene beams at Bruuna's instant understanding.

[Sil]: Yeah, that's pretty accurate. I try not to be so much, with friends.

Bruuna makes a sound that is the very essence of Dwarven Noncommittal.

Azizia doesn't comment. Last names are weird. People shouldn't have last names. They didn't, back in her day– back where she's from.

[Ben]: It is nice to meet you, Miz Bruuna. I am surprised we ain't met before now. Ben Hazan. An' Mizzy, you know Terri?

Ben nods at Terrineth.

[Ismene]: I do! Well, not… not in a friends way. But I know her! Of her? That is, I don't know that we've be– I'm not sure an–

Ismene loses some of her vivacity and kind of dwindles off.

Ben puts a hand on Mizzy's shoulder to forestall her. "Mizzy, Terri. Terri, s' my wife, Ismene."

[Ismene]: Um, hullo Terri.

Ismene gives Ben a grateful look.

Terrineth smiles at Mizzy, "Nice to meet ya darlin."

Ismene relaxes a little and smiles back.

[Ben]: Anyone want anythin' else? I will go down and get. Mizz, some wine? You want some of this roast? Miz Bruuna, get you somethin'?

[Bruuna]: Ah, me break's 'bout due fer closin'.

Azizia nods at Bruuna.

Ismene blinks and tries to parse.

[Sil]: Glad we at least got to say hello during it. *Sil beams at Bruuna.*

[Bruuna]: Wha' ye needin'? I'm headin' down meself regardless.

[Ben]: Aw, I ain't like to put you to trouble durin' your break.

[Bruuna]: Yeh. Fer certain. Ye lot hirin' at all?

Ismene hesitantly plucks at Ben's sleeve. Not that it would stop him from moving, but just … y'know. "I… no thank you. Not wine. But yes! Hiring. We sort of always are."

Ben dutifully stays put. He sets his plate on the table and slides it gently toward Mizzy, in case she would like some roast. One of the two remaining bites of roast.

Bruuna glances around the table quizzically. "So… which one o' ye in charge, then?"

[Ismene]: Ben's a lieutenant. I suppose that's him, at the moment.

[Ben]: Uh. I would not say I am in charge of, like, the whole thing. But I am the officer present.

[Sil]: Yeah, we're like off-duty right now? But I bet you can go by HQ.

[Ben]: You interested in merc work?

Ismene smiles a little as she and Ben talk at the same time. She picks up a knife and a fork and slivers off the tiniest piece of roast possible. Somehow it stays on the fork without blowing away in the breeze and makes it to her mouth.

Bruuna folds her hands behind her, taking a semi-parade-rest stance. "Beats waitin' tables, an' I'm more set fer battlefield than anythin' else these days."

Bruuna glares at Edris Barleybeard as her sister makes a faintly scoffing noise.

Ben nods to her. "Well, plenty of battlefields out there, these days."

Terrineth glances back at Bruuna then down at her drink. She swirls her glass and seems to get lost in thought.

Ismene repeats the sliver-slicing and listens politely.

[Bruuna]: I en't undersellin' yer skills, Edris! Jus'–

Ben considers praising Edris's pretzel-bringing skills and then perhaps wisely refrains.

Azizia flips her hair and narrows her eyes at Bruuna. "Why do you work here if you do not like it?"

[Sil]: Family thing, yeah?

[Bruuna]: No' exactly. Was workin' wi' th' paladins, an' I — well, Sir Nestoran said I had promise, an' the rankin' folks seemed optimistic, but then he went an' got killed up north, so…

Ismene 's eyes widen at Bruuna. Then she looks at Ben, scandalized, silently demanding he right this wrong.

Bruuna does not look like she took the time to prepare for an impromptu interview, but is definitely… trying.

Ismene looks around for a napkin.

Ben 's gaze sharpens with interest. "Paladins? Yeah, me too. Uh, trainin'. Been fightin' a lot longer, paladin– in' is new."

[Ben]: You know Sir Sev Black? Or I reckon you could talk to one of ours, Sir Elohad or Sir Colson.

Ismene raises a hand to hide her mouth, though she's not chewing now. "Sir Elohad is wonderful. You'll love him."

Bruuna brightens at Ben's statement. "Well, I can do yer basics, Light-bearin' an' such… I've heard o' Sir Black before, but I dunno if it's Sir Sev-Black or Sir Other-Black."

[Sil]: Other-Black? There two of 'em?

[Azizia]: Yes, I think you will find help in Cobalt Company or with friends of Company. Or with Draenei in Exodar. We have vindicators, maybe they can teach you a little more too.

[Bruuna]: 'S no' th' mos' unique human surname, all I'm sayin' is.

Bruuna glances slightly apologetically at Ismene.

Ismene shrugs a little and nods.

[Ben]: That is fair, it ain't.

[Ismene]: Oh! And the Draenei brought a naaru!

Azizia nods at Ismene.

[Sil]: And we got Vindicators in Cobalt, too!

[Azizia]: See? You do not have to continue job you don't like.

[Bruuna]: Wait — yer no' tha' Cobalt, are ye? Quartered in th' Mystic Ward?

[Ismene]: I think we should have more paladins. There aren't enough to go around, given all the dark places we have to go.

[Sil]: Yeah, the same!

[Ben]: … that is us, yes'm.

Ismene looks quite pleased and proud.

[Bruuna]: Well. Tha's… ye lot are famous-like, ye ken?

[Ben]: I have … yeah, kenned somethin' like that.

[Ben]: We do our best. Got good people.

Ismene smiles up at Ben, dark eyes shining. If you didn't know Ben was wonderful, her expression says it.

Azizia tilts her head for a second. "Not only good people."

Ismene blinks at Azizia. "Who's not good?"

Terrineth keeps starring into her glass. She lifts it up and taps it on the table a few times without thinking.

[Bruuna]: Righ'. Well, now. I migh' gotta go throw this apron at Da's head. Lovingly.

[Ben]: … do not get your dad sore at us, though, miss, is all I am sayin'. We are here every week. *Ben grins at Bruuna.*

[Ismene]: And also maybe make sure your pockets are empty.

[Sil]: Loyal customers, us.

[Bruuna]: Oh, no fear there. Da loves his regulars, 'specially if they get his grouchiest daughter out from underfoot.

[Bruuna]: Edris — yer back on bein' th' face o' th' Corner!

Azizia gets up, ignoring Ismene's question. "If you want I can go complain more until 'Da' does not want you to work here, if this helps!" She smiles.

Ismene looks at Sil. "Who's not good?" Then she looks at Ben.

Ben shrugs, mystified, and looks at Sil too.

Ismene looks at Terri, too, in case she knows.

Sil shrugs. "I like everybody."

[Bruuna]: Da! I'm hereby tenderin' me resignation an' lettin' Edris take back over!

[Azizia]: I could complain about the fact that I was not offered another meal after I was brought one by accident, for exam– she is gone, she might not need help anymore.

Azizia sits back down.

Terrineth snaps back to reality, "Hmm? D'I miss somethin?"

[Ismene]: Who in Cobalt Company isn't good?

Terrineth 's eyes go wide for a second, "Uhhhh… Not sure."

Ben looks at Azizia, as it was her assertion.

[Bruuna]: No more washin', no more servin', Da! An' I'll no' — yes, Da, I'll still stop by an' see Mum an' ye every month at least. Often as I can manage.

[Azizia]: Isn't it obvious?

Ben knits his brow.

Ismene blinks. "No. Not to me. If anyone's not good, something should be done."

Terrineth starts bouncing her leg nervously and drinks more.

[Azizia]: I'm speaking of warlocks, of course. They are bad news, all.

[Bruuna]: Handled. Da's fine.

Ismene gets indignant. She sits straighter and tucks her chin a bit.

[Ben]: … oh. Warlocks. Well, I mean. I understand there is … some sh*t there, but Cobalt is real careful in ours.

[Sil]: One of ours knits. And the other one gave me fuzzy slippers.

Sil spreads his hands. Case closed, right?

Ismene hmphs, but doesn't join in since Sil has it handled. Instead, she smiles at Bruuna. "Well, Azizia was ready to leap into the fray to help. You should drop by HQ sometime and fill out an application."

[Azizia]: I thought I made friend in Company, but then she turned out to be doing… warlockistry. That was very disappointing to learn.

[Sil]: Which one was it? Oh, she… Lena? She's alright.

[Sil]: Unless you meant Hex, I ain't talked to her in a while.

Ismene offers to Sil, "Don't forget Gausanders."

Sil nods at Mizzy.

Azizia raises an eyebrow at Sil, then lowers it to turn her head to Ben and raise the other eyebrow.

Terrineth relaxes a bit with the talk of warlocks

[Sil]: Seemed good when I met her though?

Ben smiles at Bruuna again. "Buy you a drink to celebrate?"

Bruuna beams widely. "Fer sure, 'tenant. An' if ye need anyone watchin' yer warlocks, I'd be willin'."

[Azizia]: I am speaking of Lena, yes, she was very nice when I had to give her gift for Winter Veil. The question is how long will her being nice last.

Azizia laughs at Bruuna.

Ismene wonders aloud, "Does someone actually blow that horn every hour, or did they… um.. gnomify it?"

[Sil]: Maybe we ought to go investigate. Official operation. *Sil grins.*

Ben starts to signal Edris and then decides that perhaps family relations make that imprudent. He smiles at Bruuna and steps away from the table to go down and get more drinks.

Ismene looks around. She fidgets a bit, then shifts back in her chair a little. Her eyes go to her hands, knotting in her lap.

[Sil]: Well anyway, that horn’s my call to head home. Good seein' you all. And meetin' you Bruuna!

[Azizia]: I am happy to see you have decided to take chance at something you enjoy more, Bruuna. *She smiles at her.*

Sil waves goodbye to everyone. Farewell!

Bruuna nods at Azizia.

Azizia bows before Sil.

[Bruuna]: I'll stop by soon!

Ben returns with a beer in one hand and a ladylike glass of cider in the other. He offers the beer to Bruuna.

Bruuna takes the drink and it vanishes in short order.

Ben sets the cider down beside Mizzy.

Ismene smiles at Ben, relaxing again.

[Bruuna]: I best be seein' t' my business, then!

[Ben]: Yes'm. Nice to meet you, an' all.

[Bruuna]: Have a nice evenin', ye lot!

Ismene sips her cider. "Good to meet you!"

Bruuna waves goodbye to everyone. Farewell!

[Azizia]: Have nice evening too. Thank you for service.

Azizia bows before Bruuna.

[Terrineth]: Night. *She waves to Bruuna.*

[Ismene]: What'd you name your sprite darter, Azizia?

Ben glances from Azizia to the sprite darter and back again.

Ismene sighs and gives up being ladylike in favor of quenching her thirst. She downs half the ladylike glass of cider.

[Azizia]: … It does not have name yet. I am ashamed. I am not good with names.

[Ben]: I am pretty good with names, *says Ben, who is absolutely Not.*

[Ismene]: Oh, mine took forever to name. First she was Melody, then he was Burble but then she became Mariestraza.

[Azizia]: I am considering calling it something easy for people of Azeroth to say and remember. To respect that it comes from here.

Ben squints at the sprite darter speculatively.

The sprite darter sits at one of the empty chairs and puts its front paws on the table. This is a human, now.

[Ben]: Millie.

[Ben]: She looks like a Millie.

[Ismene]: I should go. I need to wash my face and check my teeth before I meet with that wax supplier.

Ismene rises and tilts her face up at Ben. "Do you want to stay in Ironforge tonight?"

[Azizia]: Millie? I… that sounds like… in Draenei… *She turns to look at her pet.* … I guess it does look like a Millie.

Ben stoops to kiss Mizzy decorously, because company present. "No, I will head back to Southshore in a bit. If you are okay to do that?"

The sprite darter looks peacefully at Azizia, its front paws still on the table.

[Ismene]: That's fine. I'll meet you there when I'm done. What does it sound like in Draenei?
Ismene does address the last to Azizia, lest anyone be confused.

Ben glances curiously at Azizia.

Terrineth raises an eyebrow waiting for a response

Everyone in the bar pauses and looks at Azizia. The city falls silent. Somewhere in the distance, a dog barks.

Azizia looks at Ismene, then Ben, then Terri. She abruptly gets up. "Do you hear that? I think air spirit is calling me! I have to answer call or I might not get help of air spirit next time I need it!"

Azizia gets up, grabs Millie and gets this close to running towards the stairs.

[Azizia]: Goodbye everyone!

Azizia bows down graciously.

Azizia walks down the stairs very fast.

Terrineth looks confused but nods as Azizia walks off.

[Ismene]: Well now we absolutely have to ask another draenei.

Ben looks around dubiously. "Uh. Yeah. That was — yeah."

[Ismene]: Do you suppose you just named her sprite darter something scandalous?

Ben 's ears turn red.

[Ben]: I mean, I hope not. But she ain't have to name it that, if she don't want. I only suggested.

Ismene grins at Ben. "Need me to get the bill?"

[Ben]: Oh, miss ma'am, I am jus' a poor urchin, would you please?

Ben grins back at Mizzy.

Ismene giggles and turns to Terri. "It was good to meet you, possibly again."

Terrineth smiles at Mizzy, "Nice to meet you too, Miss."

[Ismene]: It's Mrs., actually. Mrs. Hazan.

Ismene seems quite proud of it.

Terrineth seems to have something misfire in her brain seeing someone proud to be a Hazan, but eventually shakes it off

Ismene passes over a small pouch of clinky coins to Edris. "Thank you for looking after this bunch."

Ben stoops to pick up his pack. He smiles at Terri. "I am gonna get goin' too. Work to do an' a flight to get back. You okay here?"

Terrineth looks up at Ben. She seems a little ill at ease, "Yeah… I'm not drunk enough yet. I'll be a while."

Ben glances over at Edris. "Hey, Edris, my friend's next couple're on me, okay? Put 'em on my tab."

Ben looks back to Terri. He studies her for a moment, and then shrugs affably. "You should come out to Outland, for serious. Lot've work to be done, and you'd clean up on the fightin'."

Terrineth bounces her leg, "Ya really gotta stop payin for all these, Hazan…" She fiddles with her glass

Ben shrugs again genially and slings his pack over his shoulder. "S' just drinks. Ain't buyin' you a horse or nothin'. Besides, prob'ly I am still payin' it with the money I made off that bet that one time."

Terrineth smirks at Ben

Ben crooks a smile at her. "I will see you, okay?"

[Terrineth]: See ya. *She turns her attention back to her drink and waves.*
