Sir Aspenwood,

I am writing to you in regards to the matter of Sir Leighton, the paladin and member of Cobalt Company who rode off on his own at Boopsie Sparkfly's funeral. I believe you were entirely correct to be concerned for his well-being; I found him single-handedly trying to battle a large swarm of the undead nerubians and had to convince him to abandon the unwinnable fight and return to Light's Hope while he was still able to.

There was not much time for an extended conversation, as I did need to return to my post, but judging from what he told me, he is here to battle the Scourge as his primary method of coping with grief. I am familiar with the look and behavior of a man who has endured great loss, and I am concerned for his well-being.

I have gotten him to agree - for the time being - not to venture out alone, and in return I offered to help find him groups to venture out with. If Cobalt Company can afford to divert any more personnel, it would be greatly appreciated, although I am aware your captain is doing her best to heed many calls for aid, and everyone likely feels that their own need must be the strongest in times such as these. Forces gather in Stratholme once more, in numbers comparable to your last report. If you have the personnel to spare for another team, at least to do a sweep, it would be deeply appreciated, and I believe Sir Leighton would want to be of use.
