Details
Author: Saaron
Summary: Right after the events of the previous Troll Tuesday, Azizia and Paluuva exchange words about the former's fears of corruption.
Rating: T for Teen
Azizia Paluuva

They start their conversation speaking in Common.

Paluuva: You are doing well out there, Azizia. Do not be discouraged by the apparent enormity of what we face. The Light would not have led us to this if we were not up to the task.
Azizia: Oh I do not feel discouraged, when I say I am weak. I am happy to be. *She sighs.* See how troll worship blood god for power? I feel scared I came close to searching for power like that.
Azizia: I do not wish for this to happen again to me. I am happy to let others handle big problems.
Paluuva: But you did -not-. You found your balance in the spirits. Trust yourself. I do.
Azizia: The others are gone, I'm much more comfortable in Draenei, so I'll switch back, if you don't mind. *She chuckles.*
Paluuva smiles
Paluuva: As you wish.
Azizia: I didn't really… find balance in the spirits… They're what almost made me lose myself. To save a friend, I… I called upon the spirit of the dead. To bring her back.
Azizia: I only ever saw orcs use their dead ancestors in such a way. I don't really -know- who or what I called for help. And look where that lead these orc shamans, just listening to whatever spirit and doing whatever they were told to do, uh.
Paluuva sighs softly.
Paluuva: The orcs were led astray by the Burning Legion. Do not mistake the orcs for fools that did whatever they were told. They were targeted and manipulated in a coordinated, strategic campaign and betrayed by their own.
Paluuva: That is very different from your situation.
Azizia: … I guess I wasn't attacked or manipulated, yeah. It's just… ever since, I can't help but think 'What next'? I call upon spirits I don't know or understand to save those I love, and then what next? The need for power it just… it never stops.
Azizia: In a way, I understand the orcs who feel into the Burning Legion's tactics. They did out of necessity. I understand them. That's what scares me.
Paluuva: They were deceived by Gul'dan. It was all the lies of the Legion, the same way they twisted the minds of our own people. But the point is that you did -not- succumb, Azizia. You did not do it for power, you did it for compassion…and you remained wary.
Paluuva: The fact that you are having these thoughts is proof that are resistant to corruption. Do not let your fears keep you from doing good and preventing another tragedy.
Azizia: See, you tell me I can stop calling you "teacher", but then you go and have these kind of conversations with me, and you try to help me. *She chuckles, it's a soft, sad chuckle.* I think there's a part of you that will always be my teacher, Teach'!
Paluuva laughs.
Paluuva: I -will- always be a teacher. I cannot help what I am. If I have taught you a lesson today, then I am glad for it.
Azizia sighs and massages the bridge of her nose. "With you and Gaakhed around, I'm pretty sure I'm never running out of lessons to be taught." She chuckles.
Azizia: Thank you, Paluuva. *She looks at her, a genuine smile on her lips, although her eyes betray some sadness.*
Paluuva offers a soft smile, radiating warmth.
Paluuva: I am always here for you, Azizia. Should you ever need me.
Azizia: Thanks. And I'm here for you too, if you ever need… A shopping buddy, I guess! I know all the best shops and boutiques in the area!
Paluuva chuckles
Paluuva: I will remember that. I would love to go shopping with you sometime.
Azizia: Great! *she clasps both her hands together.* We'll arrange that! I think I'm going to rest for a bit right now, though. Fighting these trolls is a little bit tiresome, but interacting with the elements of Azeroth is the real exhausting task for a Shaman.
Azizia: At least it is for me!
Paluuva nods.
Paluuva: I could use a nap, myself. Rest well…Zizi.
Paluuva chuckles.
Azizia: You too, Teach'!
You bow before Paluuva.
