Attached to the following letter is an official looking letter from the Argent Dawn[https://docs.google.com/document/d/1fdHV2QTghJxz2ts-2qy66GAM-wtnsrkaErqCX4aJqXI/edit#bookmark=id.bbrj5kk96m3x]. It could be the original. It could be a magically reproduced copy.

Dear Meepsie Tinkwhistle,

I am writing to you as the employer of your sister, Boopsie Sparkfly. I regret to inform you that she has been killed in action in the Eastern Plaguelands. Boopsie has been a valuable member of our Company, and she will be sorely missed. I have been informed that she fought bravely to the end, if that is any comfort. She is with the Argent Dawn, and they intend to bury her at Light’s Hope Chapel. I would encourage you to contact Sgt. Dawnia Haversham for more details. [contact information included]

My condolences for your loss,
Captain Jocoza Sparkwire

The following letter is sent to each of the three recipients, with only the name changed.

Dear Colson/Erixa/Tibbiah,

I thought I should contact you before I sent out the Company newsletter, so the bad news won’t hit you out of nowhere. Thank you for being a part of the mission into Stratholme. As it turns out, you accompanied Boopsie Sparkfly on one of her final missions, as she has been killed in action. She was fighting bravely alongside her Argent Dawn allies when they were overrun early this week. Funeral arrangements will be announced soon, but she will be buried in Light’s Hope Chapel.

I understand that she acquired a kneecap, on your mission into Stratholme. I am glad to hear that she was able to achieve this goal, before the end.

Best,
Captain Jocoza Sparkwire

The following brief letter is sent to Tadget, in considerably less tidy handwriting than the previous four.

Tadget,

I don’t know any way to say this to you so it’s better. Sparkfly was killed in the Plaguelands, during a mission with the Argent Dawn.

I was trying to hel I meant to prot I’m sorry.

They’re going to bury her at Light’s Hope Chapel. There’ll be a funeral soon.

A quick response from Tadget.

Jo,

Bullshit. I know exactly what she's up to. When I find her I'm going to make her wish she were dead.

After a short break, another flurry of mails go out, once again in tidier handwriting.

To: Barlowe Family Residence in Stormwind
From: Captain Jocoza Sparkwire, Cobalt Company

Dear Barlowe Family,

I am writing to thank you for hospitality extended to one of my employees, Boopsie Sparkfly, and to inform you that she has died in action in the Plaguelands. I did not want to leave you waiting for her return, and perhaps thinking she has forgotten you. I do not think she would have forgotten you.

Best,
Captain Jocoza Sparkwire

Dear Ivri,

I have some bad news that I wanted to break before I send this week’s newsletter. You remember Tadget’s old friend Boopsie Sparkfly? The one I asked you to help? Well, she’s died in the Plaguelands. There’s going to be a funeral soon, I think.

Thank you for helping her when I couldn’t. I don’t think she would’ve made it so long without friends looking out for her. And she wasn’t alone, in the end. She was with an Argent Dawn group, and they just got overrun by the undead. It’s a risk we all take, when we decide to put ourselves in harm’s way to help others. I don’t know if she would've said she had a good life, but I can guess she would say it was better for having you and your family in it.

Best,
Jo

Dear Raschal,

Do you recall that pink sheep you cuddled, up in Winterspring? Her story’s had its ups and downs, but it has come to an end in the Plaguelands. I was not sure whether I should warn you before the general announcement, but I thought you seemed to like her. She’s going to be buried at Light’s Hope Chapel.

Sincerely,
Jo

Dear Finnegan J. Sharpgear,

I am writing to you on a matter that is likely to impact Tadget’s state of mind, given your previous interest. Do you recall the target of her negative fixation, back in the bad days with the cage? She and the young gnome in question, Boopsie Sparkfly, have gone some distance in finding their way towards friendship since then. However, she is now dead. Sparkfly, not Tadget.

Tadget seems to believe this is an elaborate ruse, but I have no indication that this is the case. Or that Sparkfly would be capable of such. She seemed a very straightforward kind of person, more into beheading and kneecapping than faking her own death. That, and they have her body at Light’s Hope.

In any case, I thought you should know, in case this causes some sort of relapse.

Best,
Captain Sparkwire
