I’m sorry I’m only getting back to you so long after your last letter, I guess it must have been worrying, after what you’ve revealed in that previous letter!

Don’t worry about it, though, I’m not mad you cursed that letter, I think I understand why you did. I know other people who are very wary of others, especially strangers. You were just trying to protect yourself, there’s nothing wrong with that! It’s my fault, I should have read your previous letters better and I should have burned the first one when you told me to. I just didn’t see anything that was wrong about it, back then! I just thought you were sad you had been cold to me in that letter. Had I known you’d cursed it, I’d have gotten rid of it sooner!

Anyway, as I said, I’m sorry I didn’t write anything earlier. We’ve started going on missions again with the Cobalt Company, so it’s been taking a lot of my time. I’m in a great squad! I mean, any squad would be great since I’m with my… my girlfriend, I guess that’s the right word?

I can see ghosts now! There are not as many dead people in the Outland as I thought, though. I’ve seen some, here and there, but they mostly stick to some places and stuff.

I couldn’t join my friends on our latest mission, though. I had to go back to Ratchet (I’m sad I didn’t see you there, I guess you’re still in Booty Bay?). Sometime before that, I got a letter from the warlocks there, they needed me to go there as fast as possible. A week ago, maybe two now, Carden disappeared. He finished tidying up everything at the warlock’s meeting place in Ratchet so he left after everyone else, but no one has seen him since. They don’t know what happened to him. They don’t know if just left to do his own thing, if he was driven mad by one of his demons, or if something else happened…

So they wanted to ask me a few questions about it! I told them I couldn’t help them, I was in Shattrath and I didn’t see him there, so I really have no idea where he could be! I asked them if they had any news in Stormwind, since his sister works there but no, nothing.

I’m back in Shattrath now. They said they’d keep me updated if anything new should come up. I’m hoping I’ll get a letter from them sometime soon where they tell me he just decided to take a vacation and just forgot to tell them!
