Dear Sirie,

I uh… I might be seeing somebody! She’s the smartest person I know, and the funniest too. She’s the one who figured out how to travel from the Outland back to Azeroth, actually. She works with the Kirin Tor, now, thanks to that! She really is incredible like that!

Hmmm, I guess, if you say so… You’re probably the reason I’ve progressed this fast! I maybe didn’t really have a choice to be a warlock, uh? I would be wasting what I was born with, if you’re right… right?

Well, working with other warlocks is good, I think! We keep an eye on each other, make sure we’re not getting too into the Fel and the Shadows! If someone would like to improve in a specific area, there’s almost always another warlock who might be willing to help with that. It’s always nice to have people who can help you become better! But I’m glad you feel confident in your practices on your own! You must be really strong, with your experiments and all. That’s really impressive!

And, yeah… There’s an acolyte in Ratchet I don’t really get on well with… Even though I wanted to, at first. I think he looked… kind of cute, back then! Mom says that I don’t always realize when someone’s being mean to me, but I’m pretty sure Carden is. We started training in Stormwind more or less at the same time, but he’s got a younger sister who has been hanging with the warlocks for a few years already (I only know her as Miss Blackwood, I haven’t met her yet). Anyway! Carden has been saying things like “I don’t know if we should congratulate you for all the hope you give to other simpletons that they too can do something with their life if they become warlocks, or if we should get rid of you now before you all meet and leave the door wide open for the Legion to invade Azeroth again”, or “Oh, shut up”. He says “Oh, shut up” to me a lot. He's messed with some of my rituals when we were both training in Stormwind, too. And the more progress I make, the worse it gets! Anyway, as I said, I don’t see him often so it's okay, especially since he's working in Ratchet now. I only go there when I really need to.

Okay, I guess you know my dad better than I do, so if you’re sure that he hates warlocks and that I shouldn’t tell him, that means I really shouldn’t!

But I think you’re wrong about my friend, Colson, though! He’s not really like you described. I think he’s very wise and gives great advice! Everyone can be wrong from time to time, even the smartest people, right? I’d like you to meet him and my other friends one day, so you know how great they are!

I told dad that I’m a fire mage. You know, since we can conjure flames and all that… I guessed that it wasn’t too far from the truth! I don’t feel like I’m really lying.

It might sound weird, but when I started looking for my birth parents, I had the help of a friend who can have visions about… stuff. And she said she saw… something really bad… and a Felguard. Do you happen to know anything about that?

Okay, I have to stop writing now because the bookcase in my room just fell and broke for no reason, I have to go tell the inn’s owner what happened and I don’t know how to explain this! I’ve been really unlucky these days!
I’m looking forward to your next letter,

Sandy
