25th entry of Gausanders Spellbond’s journal (I checked!)

I’m back at the Honor Hold. I’ve left Shattrath City as soon as possible. They have a Naaru there too, and it does the exact same thing to me as the one in the Exodar did. Headaches, these painful chimes hurting my ears…

At least this time Grimnos didn’t try to open a breach on its own to get there! I wonder why?

Anyway, I wanted to get away from this city as soon as possible even though it’s one of the only safe places in the Outland. I’d rather have regularly scheduled Infernal rains than be stuck with that thing for too long!

So, when Gwen tried opening a portal to Stormwind for the first time there, I jumped right through it without any second thought. It was great to be back home, even for just a few days! I’m so glad it’ll be easier to travel from the Outland to Azeroth, now because there are people who have been waiting for this for a very long time. They’re all going to be happy to get back home and see their loved ones, all thanks to Gwen! And me, a little bit, I guess!

So, two weeks ago, White Squad and I went to kill some Fel orcs in the Peninsula. First, we got that very precious book of the Light, which I can’t remember the name of! Almost stepped on it, too… Oops. In my defense, it looks suspiciously like a brick. Big, square, and plain! It’s probably a thing to keep it hidden. Who would think of destroying a brick, right?

We killed a bunch of bad ghosts, on that day too! And we didn’t get cursed, thanks to Cress’s studying the place beforehand. We wouldn’t have been cursed even if she hadn’t studied it, but at least we were sure that wouldn’t be the case when getting in.

And then last week was all about traveling to Shattrath city. We saw big moths, big spiders, big crystals growing alongside big trees… And the big Naaru, which wasn’t as fun.

It was wonderful to go in there because so many different people live in Shattrath City, almost in harmony! You have Draenei, Blood elves, humans, “Ethereals” (a sort of ghost, apparently?), trolls, orcs, and those really really cute tiny little mushroom people who I love already! We even saw a demon! I tried to talk to him to know how he can stand staying in Shattrath with the Naaru, while just going near it hurts me (and, as far as I know, I am not a demon)! He wasn’t very talkative, though, so I went back to the others really quickly. He kinda just grunted at me angrily when I approached. I wonder how a conversation with him and Dane would go…

Anyway, tomorrow we’re going to go to the Blood Furnace, which means we’re killing more Fel Orcs! That’s going to be easy, those guys aren’t that strong. Nothing to worry about!

I should probably get to bed right now. The Honor Hold still needs us!

I just woke up! I forgot to talk about something really important! I’ve actually mentioned it a little, bit, but I should have gone into details! I did help Gwen find a way to open portals from the Outland to Azeroth. She had it all figured out, but she needed to know more about that summoning ritual I know, where I, with the help of two other people, bring someone to my side by taking them through the Twisting Nether. Once I mentioned that this spell helped create a tunnel through there, she found a way to use that spell without a Soulshard and without alerting demons nearby that we’re traveling through their plane! She’s so smart. I think Gerhold helped her a little too but that was mostly her!

Also… On the topic of Gwen… I think she might like me? Like, not “like” me like most people do, but like me! After we talked about the summoning ritual, she kissed me on the cheek and ran away really quickly. Sometimes she blushes when I talk to her…

I’m a bit lost here because I’ve never had a crush on a girl before! But on the other hand… I like it when I see her smile, and I think she looks cute when she blushes…

Anyway, I might be imagining things! Maybe she blushes because what I said was embarrassing and I just didn’t realize it?
