Life has been good since I wrote last! Most of the Company's gone off to Outland, so I don't have to worry about them thinking I'm getting demon-corrupted. Don't think I am, but would I even know?
Things going great with Kenna and Foxglove. Good work, good roommate. We keep to ourselves a lot, but I think she likes to have me around. I expect she likes the homecooked food and sweets I leave about. She's also not the worrying sort, which is nice most of the time. The work is interesting, looking into trolls and soul crystals. Cobalt folks joining in, so I don't even have to keep it a secret.
Teaming up with different people each time. Met Taelei, a draenei mage. She's not bothered by demons and such. And Corduin Bennett, my teacher's sister. Bit nervous of her, at first. Not good experiences with folks as call themselves bad-tempered. Mostly she just meant violent at trolls and lizards, and cussing up a storm. That's not so bad.
What's nice is folks are respecting my expertise now. I know I don't know all that much about different creatures and lands and such, but I do know a lot about controlling life forces and soul energies. Getting tired of people saying I ought to give it all up, or just maybe they could bring themselves to tolerate my work as long as I don't go too far. It's not a flaw I know so much about this stuff. And I've been learning more from Mr. Bennett and all those books.
Other news, got some new robes, took some doing to get made. Goblin spun gold into thread, and it's also got satyr blood and infernal dust in it. Lastly, part of a soul (goblin one, we killed lots of goblins) and a fire elemental. With all that, should serve me well! Maybe will help me cow the Sayaads. They talk too much.
Haven't hardly thought about K in weeks! And now I have. Damn.
