New notebook, for a new life. Not sure if I should toss the old one. I'll think on it.
This is my Cobalt Company notebook. They hired me, even though they don't like warlocks very much. Glynara's info was good, I think, but Kerlo was a major find. I'm a 7th-Legion-recommended warlock now. And I didn't even ask, he offered, so it's real. Didn't cost me anything but a day helping out.

Few things I didn't count on here. Dane's in the company, and Colson. That's Knight Captain Aspenwood, but he said call him Colson so I'm going to. He wouldn't be spreading any rumors, but

Wish I'd managed seeing Dane better, for the first time. I thought it went okay at the party, till his girl went odd and dropped a plate. I meant to stop things getting worse by leaving, but I guess she spelled it all out for everybody after I left. In case they didn't get it.

Maybe it's like Glynara said. You lie or you just don't even try to hide it. Not like I'm doing that professionally anymore, but lot of people don't let you drop the title. I'm not ashamed, anyway, I just wanted to make a good impression. Guess that's shot to hell.

Talked to Dane the other night, and I think we're good. Seems he had a hard time of it, after Theramore, till he joined up here. Glad he didn't seem to want to pick up with me, to be honest. Don't want to get tangled up in a mess like that right off, him with a lass already. Ivri's younger, and a bit thrown by people having history. I need to talk to her, not just let this sit and rot.

Dane also said the Company'll help with K. I haven't seen any sign of him yet, but he'll figure out where I went eventually. Told Dane he might let be, but honestly I just don't want to bring all my problems to the doorstep right off. I think I left a hard trail to follow, so could be a while. Maybe by then I can handle it on my own.

As for the others—I'm not sure of the drunk warlock, Sandy, but the night elf lieutenant, Auralind, seemed surprisingly friendly. Ally? So many other people there, though, and I Ieft pretty fast. Anyway, I should do something to repair my reputation. Maybe cookies? People like cookies.
