In this magical room, you will be immersed in an illusory recreation of the memories of adventurers past. But this is no mere recording — YOU will experience the events and make your own choices. It will feel as real as actually being there*.

The OOC Part
This is a concept to make it easier for characters to have IC dungeon experiences without needing to reskin or file off the serial numbers. There are a lot of dungeons that are now "out of date" to varying degrees. But now you can go enjoy them in-character in a holodeck-like experience!
Naturally, there is nothing preventing anyone from reskinning a dungeon if they choose. The ECHO is intended only to provide a simple means to jump into an IC dungeon.
Cobalt Company helped to develop this magical technology by providing the memories of many of their own people to create the simulation experiences. In exchange, Cobalt people get a nice discount, and the company will cover the costs if the ECHO is being used for training purposes.
