Appearance

Dark-haired and dark-eyed. Clean-shaven when he can be, which is not always. Five feet and five inches tall. He has the same sharp features and strong jaw as his sister Briellen. Thaniel was born with a clubfoot (his left foot), and though a childhood regimen of braces and exercises have helped realign his foot to some extent, his gait is still uneven and he has some difficulty running in his human form.

In his worgen form: significantly taller, but on the short side compared to most adult worgen. Black fur. Deep brown eyes, nearly black.

Thaniel is a healer. If there is any malice or aggression in him, it is buried so deep that Thaniel himself has never found it. He views himself as one of the shepherds of his pack. Thaniel is not remotely neurotypical, nor is he interested in pretending to be anything he's not.

History

Born in Gilneas to a family of woodcutters, Thaniel was the second child, five years younger than his older sister, Briellen. He did a lot of growing up in the forest rather than the city, but began to make occasional trips there in his late teens to visit the cathedral.

He was in the city when the worgen attacked, and escaped with a small group of others - but this group's leader, Lucas Rhenardt, was bitten. Over the course of years, Rhenardt hunted the rest of them down to add to his pack.

Now, returned to sanity and balance, Thaniel's family has grown to include the rest of his pack, which he has named the Gravehowl pack.
