RP Hooks
Sev might plausibly be acquainted with anyone from around Andorhal, anyone who served with or in proximity to the Silver Hand in the Third War, or anyone with connections to the Argent Dawn.
Appearance
Sev cuts an imposing figure: well over six feet tall, he is a broad-shouldered wall of muscle. He wears his mane of iron-streaked black hair tied back from a battered warrior's profile. The ascetic prominence of his bone structure and the weary shadows of his resting expression are barely softened by his grizzled beard. Storm-cloud eyes are piercing beneath stern brows.
Despite this, he carries himself with an unassuming quiet. His manner is unfailingly courteous and oddly gentle for such a grim-looking behemoth of a man.
Personality
His quiet manner doesn't stem from shyness or self-consciousness, but is a product of his naturally ruminative, deliberate nature, combined with his training and background as a parish priest. He listens to other people attentively and entirely, and chooses his own words thoughtfully before speaking. He's soft-spoken and courteous, unfailingly patient, and possessed of a soul-deep kindness that belies his gruff exterior. His religious piety has deep and sturdy roots, but is tempered by an earthy pragmatism. When he speaks at all, it is with a broad Highlands accent more akin to that of a dwarf than a citizen of Stormwind or Lordaeron.
This character is unavailable for romance. His wife might set you on fire.
History
Sevastyn was born in Stromgarde; his father, one of Trollbane's knights, died when Sev was still a boy. He and his mother moved subsequently to Andorhal in Lordaeron to join his paternal aunt there.
Sev apprenticed as a blacksmith but eventually followed a vocation in the Light and became a priest. He married young, and he and his wife Briony shared a happy (albeit childless) thirteen years together.
When his wife, mother, and most of his parish fell to plague near the outset of the Third War, Sevastyn presented himself to the Silver Hand and became a paladin. He is currently a knight of and recruiter for the Argent Dawn.
Relationships
Meriane Donnach His lady wife. His young lady wife.
Elohad Ference A close friend, and brother in the Light.
Fionette Crawford Sev began as her mentor, and is growing into something like a surrogate father. She is also, awkwardly, the cousin (and contemporary) of Meriane.
Others
Toby An imposing, heavily-built warhorse with a sleek and smoky coat of dappled grey, and a cream-colored mane and tail. His actual name, as befits a paladin's steed, is Challenger, but Sev never addresses him as anything but Toby: "He looks like a Toby."
