- 7th Legion - Saion is a sergeant in the 6th Expeditionary Unit of the 7th Legion. He's new, but he's hard to miss.
- Misfits - If you don't fit in anywhere else, or no one else wants to hang around you, Saion might have befriended you somewhere along the way - or might be about to.
- Exodar - People on the Exodar would probably know of him. If they were ever feeling sad or lonely, they might know him quite well.
- Exes - Literally anyone is free to say they have sexy history with Saion. He's not bent out of shape if it remains history. Or if it doesn't. Whatever you need!
Appearance
Even for a draenei, Saion is BIG. Rooms practically quake when he strides across them. His long black hair, too, is big, barely contained by its ponytail. His hands are big, his hooves are big, his smile is big. His voice is big. His laugh is the biggest of all. His thick dark brows stand out against his alabaster skin, making his face all the more expressive.
He moves as though he's used to things just kind of getting out of his way. When they don't, sometimes there is minor breakage of said things. He is usually scraped or bruised somewhere, which can be easily seen, as he's usually showing quite a lot of skin.
Personality
Dim • Boisterous • Accepting • Dependable
"Sort of a puppy dog if the puppy dog had tentacles and an enormous sword and was the size of a largeish shed." -Sgt. Sintha Fallon, 7th Legion, 6th E.U.
Saion is cheerful, friendly, and LOUD. You never have to wonder if he's nearby. He even sleeps loudly, snoring like a lumbermill. Whatever he's doing, he takes up the space of three draenei doing it, and not just because of his physical size. His personality is big, too. But he's not one for starting bar brawls or the like, because he's very difficult to make angry. He lets people be who they are, takes situations as they come, and doesn't get all in a twist about anything.
He is… not especially smart. His one saving grace is that he knows this, and so he tends to avoid topics where he's out of his depth rather than saying a lot of things that cause vicarious embarrassment. But if you're trying to teach him anything new, you'd better be patient, especially if it's subtle or complicated. He does at least take orders well, and doesn't deviate from them. He's good at what he does (hitting things with large objects until they break), and can be counted on to hit the right things, which makes him extremely valuable as both a miner and a warrior, jobs he's done for most of his life.
His associates tend to be misfits of one stripe or another, not because he prefers them (he seems to enjoy all people equally), but because he doesn't judge them, and anyone who's not a little bit weird can easily find friends who are a bit less loud and a bit less dim than Saion.
This character is romanceable.
Saion is a wholesomely sexy romance.
Hey girls, gather round, pick up what he's puttin' down! Saion's default romantic state is the song "Handyman" (the original boisterous 1960 Jimmy Jones version, not the weirdly depressed James Taylor cover). Lonely girls and boys come to him for sweet words or cuddles or energetic boinkin' and then they thank him and pat his head and move on, mostly. He's good for it, he doesn't cause drama or complications, and that can be very therapeutic to people on the rebound or grieving widow(er)s.
If anyone ever wanted him to be their one and only, though, he'd be dog-loyal and protective and proud as heck! It's just never really occurred to him that this might happen, because, you know, there are all those smart guys! In the meantime, he's not complaining, as he gets a steady stream of cuddles and Adult Cuddles from lots of sad people, who leave happy. And that's neat.
History
Saion grew up in the idyllic landscape of Nagrand, where there was always enough space for him. It was in looking after his possibly even dimmer little sister Xaafi that he discovered his enjoyment of feats of strength and daring, and as soon as he was old enough began working as a miner and/or guard.
When things hit the fan with the orcs, he switched to warrior mode full time, and was remarkably effective. Unfortunately it wasn't a war that could be won by any number of Saions, and so he escaped in the Exodar. Which crashed. Saion rolled with it and has found plenty of work on this new world, even though he can't always keep all its names and places straight. Give him another ten years.
