- Blackrock Clan - Any Blackrock orcs would know Oshok well.
- Internment Camps - If you're an orc, you might have been in the same internment camp as Oshok and his family.
- Blacksmithing - Oshok is known for his skill in making armor and most especially weapons.
Appearance
Oshok is in his mid-forties, but orcs have aged quickly in the past decades. His face is lined and a bit haggard, and the stiff brush of once-black hair that stands upright from his head is now pure gray. His eyes are the dull dark red of venous blood, his skin a medium shade of green.
He has a dense muscular build from his work at the forge, and from his recent turn to mercenary work as a warrior.
Personality
Intelligent ⬥ Efficient ⬥ Loyal ⬥ Brutal
Despite his appearance and demeanor, don't mistake Oshok for the dumb brute strength of the group: he has a perceptive and strategic mind given to calculations and rumination. He takes a special satisfaction in finding the quickest and simplest path to an objective, and he does not waste words.
While his violent temper and his fury in battle can be downright terrifying at times, once you are considered his family, friend, colleague or Warchief, you are that forever, and he will never betray you.
History
Oshok lied about his age to enlist in Blackhand's forces at sixteen, and was among the first through the Dark Portal once the scouts had reported back about the new land. He fell in love almost immediately with Black Tooth Grin scout Elka, and during the chaos of the First War they married.
In Year 3 ADP Elka gave birth to their son Egar, and cared for him while Oshok carried on the conquest of Azeroth. All three of them were rounded up into the same internment camp after the Second War, and there Elka wasted away and died, leaving Oshok to raise their son alone.
When Thrall freed the orcs, Oshok accepted him as a near-deity and followed him to Kalimdor, urging young Egar to follow his example in all things. He also enlisted Crim Ragefang of the Warsong clan to train Egar as a warrior, determined to live a peaceful life as a blacksmith and occasional mercenary guard.
When Egar died at Wrathgate, Oshok fell briefly into despair, until he discovered Nekrisha, an out of wedlock daughter he'd never known he had. The two of them began cautiously to venture out in to a Shattered world together and do what they could to set things right… for the Horde!
