Appearance
Miserie is a woman in her mid-thirties, pale, dark-haired, and pretty in the Grimlocke way. Her hair is naturally faintly wavy, and she keeps it black but for a streak in the front that she dyes to match her outfits — usually some flavor of pastel.
She's always seen in perfect, if sometimes overdramatic, cosmetics, and her fashion sense runs to the elaborately feminine: ruffles, ribbons, bows, glitter, full skirts. She favors bold contrasts (pastel pink with black velvet, lace with bold color). She adores appearing frivolous and frilly, and she values and places important in a person's choice of presentation over their natural appearance.
Does all of this mean people take her less seriously? Probably, but that's their problem.
Personality

As they say, Miserie loves company, and she also loves Society parties. She prefers being in a crowded room, and if one is not available she's happy to organize it. She enjoys being a hostess, and is carefully solicitous of her guests' happiness, whether they appreciate it or not. These tendencies are likely to manifest even if she herself is a guest at someone else's party.
Miserie recognizes charm and social maneuvering for what they are and enjoys them anyway. She sees Society and interpersonal relationships as a game, but one that is intriguing rather than threatening.
She is intellectually curious, which is what has led to her rank in the Kirin Tor, and she has a lot of opinions about people and power structures. She is happiest when building something — a connection, a career, an event, or anything else. She can't leave things well enough alone. Failures in social situations or professional ones are unlikely to discourage her. Despite her name, she is determined not to be miserable.

History
Miserie Grimlocke is the third child of five in the Grimlocke family, and was named while her mother was going through a Lordaeronian phase (hence Miserie instead of Misery). Miserie's aptitude for magic appeared fairly early in life, and she joined the Kirin Tor in Dalaran to study when she came of age. Her specialization is pure arcane, and she picked up the nickname "Sparkles" while there.
She split time between her studies in Dalaran and her family in Duskwood, and was blessedly away when Archimonde attacked the city. Since then, she's assisted as she can in the rebuilding. She has an eye towards climbing the Kirin Tor ladder, but has yet to earn the title Archmage. She is deeply annoyed at the Council of Six's current choice as a leader of the Kirin Tor.
