Appearance

Maisha is stocky and strong, with a freckled, wind-chapped face and wild red hair. Her default expression may be serious and mildly disapproving, but she is also quick to break into a smile. Her tattoos are generally covered under her armor, though the edges may be visible.

Personality

Hedonistic - Conscientious - Curious - Quick-Tempered

Maisha believes she is much more level-headed than her mother. However, what she actually took from her mother is a lot of her independence and not much of her peace. Maisha is always curious about trying new things, especially fun things, though she is easily frustrated if situations don't develop how she envisions. Still, she can be patient when necessary, particularly when it comes to animal care.

Maisha is used to being a small chick in a big nest, and she sometimes finds herself fading into the background unintentionally. She finds large groups intimidating, and will usually loiter on the outskirts if she's uncertain of her welcome. She wants to be seen, but she's really just not sure how to make that happen. As a result, she sometimes comes across as shy, but really she's just quiet.

Maisha is a relatively young dwarf, and likely to be interested in other dwarves of any gender. She can be romanced casually or seriously.

Maisha's role model for romance was her mother Lireen, who is polyamorous and known for her large family and many lovers. In comparison, Maisha considers herself very tame. However, in context, this means that she has no inhibitions or shame about casual flings. She would be a good-natured lover that's game to try new things and not prone to jealousy.

Maisha does not have a clear sense of what she'd want in a serious romance, but would not be averse to giving it a go. This can grow out of casual flings or out of long-term friendship. She could be happy in a polyamorous or monogamous relationship. She would likely be romantically attracted to people who are outdoorsy, practical and open with their feelings. She would not likely be romantically attracted to people who are devious, unpredictable or mysterious.

History

Maisha is one of the younger daughters of Lireen Cloudskimmer, born after the clan's relocation to Aerie Peak. She learned the ways of aerial combat from her mother, incorporating her own preference for gunwork over close-range combat.

Maisha loves her sprawling family and is proud to be one of the Cloudskimmers. However, as one of the younger and less-well-known members, she often feels overlooked by others.

During Classic Vanilla, Maisha was in the Hinterlands, living a relatively peaceful life with her clan.

+ Burning Crusade

Maisha's mother Lireen moved south to Ironforge and joined Cobalt Company. Several months later, Maisha did the same. Don't let the following-her-mother fool you - she was determined that she is going to make a name for herself. She mostly spent time helping around Westfall, a perpetually troubled region.

+ Wrath of the Lich King

Her mother was sent on the Northrend campaign, and Maisha fell in with a local group of young mercenaries - Annibeth, Ionala, Jonas, and Mayellen. Their team helped to solve the Wishock murder case, and then followed up the troubling case of a missing short-range trade vessel, the Salty Heron. It was after this that they formalized their group into an investigative team, called the Cobalt Eye. Their next case, solving the murder of a gnome at the Mirage Raceway, ended shortly before the Cataclysm rocked Azeroth.

+ Cataclysm

Since the Cataclysm, the Cobalt Eye continued solving cases. They go undercover as pirates to stop an attack of the Bloodsail Buccaneers on Booty Bay, they uncover that the naga in Desolace are seeking a way into the Plane of Water, and they stop the trolls in the Hinterlands from summoning Shadra, the spider loa (by summoning her first and killing her).

During this time, Jonas and Mayellen are married, and Jonas's nature as a worgen is revealed. Maisha, and all the others of the Eye, are supportive. Recently, Mayellen revealed that she was pregnant, a dangerous situation when no one knows how the worgen curse will interact with the condition. Maisha is currently staying in the Dwarven District in Stormwind to support Jonas and Mayellen in this frightening time.

Jonas Close friend and husband of a close friend, part of the Cobalt Eye team. I was surprised to find out he was a worgen, but he's still the same reliable Jonas.

Nala	Nala Close friend and part of the Cobalt Eye, though a lot of her life's a bit of a mystery. I know she was from Arathi, and her family left for political reasons. And she's a priestess, but I think she's been doing more… combat, lately?

May

May Close friend and wife of a close friend, also part of the Cobalt Eye. She took nerve damage during the Wishock case, but we take care of her when she needs it. She's also a powerful warlock, always coming up with some new spell or trick or other. She's currently maybe having a half-worgen baby, if that's a thing.
