RP Hooks

  • Death Knight Murder: May be/have been seen taking the accused death knight out of the city from time to time. They are always back by nightfall. For those involved in the trial, Lathrik is known.
  • Paladin: He is one, even if he doesn’t seem like it.
  • Rumor: CW: Sex There is a rumor that Lathrik picks up women at bars and taverns and takes them home, but they always leave unsatisfied.
  • Mana Potions: A frequent buyer. Like, really frequent.

Appearance

Lathrik is a paladin of Stormwind, a fact not readily apparent from his demeanor. He is often described as handsome, with dark hair, a short beard and mustache, and light brown eyes. Approximately 5’10 in height. Without knowing him or having worked with him personally, he is easily mistaken for an ordinary Stormwind guardsman, as his gear is standard issue and he seems to lack a paladin’s religious aura.

Personality

Despite an outwardly laid back attitude, Lathrik is serious and committed to his work, though it is difficult to tell when facing him directly. Instead, his commitment is shown through results almost at odds with his presented nature. This quality of work is probably the reason he has kept his job. During his off-time he frequents bars and taverns, and is often seen wearing an expression many describe as lonely. Whether or not this is real or a ploy for sympathy from women is unclear.

This Character Is Currently In a Relationship.

History

Lathrik is a native to Stormwind, having lived there for most of his life. Like many others, his family fled to Lordaeron during the attack by the Orcs, but moved back as soon as the rebuilding began. The records of his life are uneventful up until he joined the Stormwind guard at age twenty-one, and he became a paladin after the Scourge’s attack on Stormwind. Since then he has involved himself in tasks around the Kingdom as one of the few agents free to do so.

Importantly, he became the guard assigned to the Morningdew Case, responsible for seeing to the needs of one Harvey Morningdew, a death knight accused of murder.
