- Famous in Gnomeregan (and beyond): Although he goes under a different name and he's changed quite a lot since, his face might still be recognizable to those who knew him before.
- Family member: Kiekel has a large family. You might be related to him or have (had) a close relationship to one of his many siblings!
- Death Knight: Whether you're one as well, you hate them, or feel extremely close to them, Death Knights like Kiekel might not leave you indifferent.
- Argent Dawn: He's worked with the Argent Dawn in the past, extremely briefly, though. You might have been one of the people who saw him panic, flee and disappear into the Plaguelands, never to be found again.
Appearance
Kiekel is slightly smaller than average for a gnome, but surprisingly quite muscular. His skin is extremely pale, with blue-ish hues. He seems to manage his body's decay pretty well. To his glee, he has kept the pink shade of his hair, something he's always been extremely proud of. Under his gloves are burned hands, that even undeath was not able to fully heal.
Personality
In undeath, Kiekel is angry. More than anything else, he's angry at himself for the way he caused his own death, even though he can't really recall it in detail.
That doesn't mean he's lost his huge ego, though. Kiekel still believes he's an incredible tailor, that he's funny, charismatic, and charming. It doesn't matter how the rest of the world sees him now that he's a death knight.
Regardless, those who knew him in life can see that he's lost some of his cheeriness, sense of humor, and ambitions. Although he's the one who died, the 'loss' of his lover takes a toll on his morale. Especially since he can't remember who she was. Only that he used to truly, deeply love her.
With no intentions of going back to tailoring and without any other goal in un-life, Kiekel wanders, still trying to find what it is he could do to help Azeroth, just as he did before.
History
Kiekel was born in Gnomeregan, around 126 years ago. He grew up in a very large family. Wanting to help around the house, he picked up tailoring to mend his siblings' clothing or adjust hand-me-downs. This quickly became a passion, and a few decades later, a profession from which he started making a lot of gold. He found some fame in his work's popularity as well. During that time, he met the love of his life, which he now can't remember.
After Gnomeregan fell, his business was booming, with humans, dwarves, and high elves alike willing to spend exorbitant amounts of money for one of his creations. His wife followed him in his endeavors while practicing her fighting style as well as her engineering.
Still, something felt missing. Seeing the wars and the destruction all throughout Azeroth, Kiekel knew there was so much more he could do. He began learning fire magic, and with just the little training he went through, decided to help the Argent Dawn save the Plaguelands. Once he met the horrors awaiting him there, Kiekel panicked and began running. Isolated and lost, the gnome's chances of survival were slim, and when he saw a group of undead approaching, he knew his journey was coming to an end. He fought as hard as he could, blasting fire spells at the ghouls. His blossoming powers were not enough, and in his frenzy, he ended up hurting himself more than the monsters attacking him. It was only a matter of minutes before the monsters would catch him.
His last thoughts were to his wife, to who he wished he could have said goodbye one last time.
Until he woke up on Acherus, the Lich King having noticed his determination and will to survive…
