RP Hooks

Hexera's interests are rarely not peaked at the mention of demons or odd magics.

She has few connections to people outside of the company or her family, but has become very defensive of the Company and will often go to extreme and unauthorized lengths to insure the safety of the guild, sometimes without the authorization or knowledge of the leadership, though these moments are rare.

Appearance

A bookish girl wearing red magerobes, she's often staring off in thought unless she's reading, examining an object of study, or something has just gathered her attention. Tan with dark hair (always kept in a bun to be out of the way), blue eyes and a few ear piercings, she's not frail, but not by much.

Personality

Hexera is often aloof, often more focused on her work or whatever her particular project is at the moment, though not so much as to get lost in the woods (most of the time). Hexera is very much the reluctant combatant, but can hold herself when needed. Hexera's isolation and habits also made her a bit less filtered than most, though her partner Glynriel helps keep her in check most times.

When she is focused, however, her demeanor changes and either goes into a manic state to gather as much data and information as possible. When those efforts become fruitless, she sometimes gets quite upset, occasionally releasing a bit of destructive energy in the process.

History

The youngest daughter to refugees of Lordaeron, Hexera Witchblood lived in Stormwind her entire life. The least talented in a noble family of mages, she found her power through less conventional means. Her study of demonology gave her access to a different kind of magic, opting to study alone. She's not an outcast to her family, but demon research often requires materials are a tad more difficult to obtain and her family is willing to accept her on the condition she finances her own studies. As a necessity, she's taken up tailoring and enchanting in order to make sure her equipment is able to handle the unique energies she deals with.

A founding member of Cobalt Company, she spends much of her time away from the guild gathering funds for her research into fel energies, occasionally joining the company when requested or, as in the case of an assault on Shadowfang Keep, when there's key research materials she needs as part of her research. Given the nature of the threats the company sometimes faces, Hex rarely turns down an opportunity to access more protected areas hoping to find a lead on a potential avenue into her research. When the company calls, Hex will be there (likely with the help of her partner Glynriel).

Hexera's studies would eventually bring her to meet Glynriel, a succubus that Hex summoned who was intrigued by her atypical curiosity and respect for demons. Instead of a master-servant pact many other demons have with warlocks, they ended up sealed together as life partners, and Glynriel has become her trusted traveling and research companion as she goes deeper and deeper into the mysteries of fel energies, sometimes becoming a guide when involving herself with demons. Glynriel also acts ironically as Hexera's "human guide" as well, often keeping her from making inappropriate comments before she fully offends someone.

Hexera was declared Missing in Action following an unknown event at the Dark Portal and was presumed dead by the Dalaran delegation in charge of guarding the Dark Portal. Following a trail, Elohad and a number of Company members found Hexera at the Stormspire in the Netherstorm, where she returned to the fold.

Hexera is currently in Northrend with other members of Cobalt Company fighting the Scorage with the authorization of the Alliance military command to engage in any activities deemed productive to that goal, including diplomatic and offensive efforts.
