RP Hooks
- Steamwheedle Cartel: Nack has earned a good reputation for himself in the cartel. He's fairly small as far as ventures go seeing as it's mostly just him, but he holds influence vastly disproportionate with his size due to his success.
- Gladiator Promoter: Nack sponsors several promising arena fighters and does work for them both in spreading publicity and setting up good matches. All for an honest fee, of course.
- Fixer: His wide web of associates comes in handy when a wealthy client comes by needing a job done. It's possible that you've worked with Nack before, either asking him to find a group to get a job done, or being part of one of those groups yourself.
Appearance
A lanky goblin man in his thirties who has a sort of greasy handsomeness to him. He dresses well and his appearance is neatly kept, but he retains a certain indiscernible aura about him like you know he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty to turn a profit.
Personality

Greedy is an accurate word to describe Nack’s personality, but it also fails to capture all the nuance that makes up the man underneath. He’s a shrewd businessman who knows every trick in the book, but after many long years of doing business all across Azeroth, he’s come to the conclusion that good, honest business is the surest way to turn a profit.
This isn’t to say that this makes him a saint or anything, far from it. He simply recognizes that if others feel that they can trust him, he’s more likely to benefit from their relationship than if he were to cheat them. There are several who would think of him as a friend because of this, but the feeling isn’t really mutual. It’s true that Nack does always remember to reward one good turn with another, but he likes to keep all of his relationships with others purely transactional.
A good summary of Nack would be that he’s a good person not for the sake of others, but for his own sake. He’s honest and reliable, but in the end he’s in it for himself as he does business all across Azeroth to grow his coffers and increase his influence over its markets.
History
A goblin born to a fairly wealthy family in Undermine, Nack had quite the future ahead of him. He excelled in school and had a keen eye for numbers and business. Others in the cartel took notice of this as he came to adulthood and before long he worked himself up to a clerk working for Trade Prince Steamwheedle himself.
However, Nack wasn’t content just being a lackey to help fill someone else’s pockets, so he saved up his salary until he had enough money to strike out on his own. He set sail for Tanaris and started up his own business in Gadgetzan. It began with just trading goods, but as he grew more established in the city he started to dabble in other areas including promoting promising gladiator talent and fixing mercenary work for his ever growing network of connections.
These days he’s grown large enough that his sphere of influence covers just about all of Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms, but he doesn’t plan on stopping there. He’s always looking for his next opportunity, and in a world as chaotic as this, who knows where he might find his next business venture?
