Appearance
Glyphe is a young gnome with huge blue eyes. She is more toned, physically, than you'd expect a bookish gnome to be, but Glyphe has been working with engines since she was quite young indeed. Her forearms in particular are strong and lean with long ropey muscles.
She wears her long metallic-silver hair back in two looped braids. It's not quite long enough to wear in braided donuts, but she's working on it.

Glyphe is very caught up in the dazzlement of being a young mage on her own. She's fascinated by the idea of adventure and cannot wait to be out there, doing All The Things, meeting All The People. She's excited by the idea of reclaiming Gnomeregan and of making the gnomish people even greater than they currently are (which is pretty great, ngl).
Unfortunately, she's also fascinated with everything else, and it's difficult to say what will catch her attention. When she does devote herself to something, it's with her whole big brain, and she's capable of doing one thing for hours at a time with no break. She can be very difficult to distract when something catches her fancy like this.
History
Glyphe has memories of working in her parents' mechanic shop in Gnomeregan, and the pair were instrumental in keeping things running during the Horde seige, helping to construct water reclamation units and repair the existing ones. She lost both her parents to the trogg invasion, but escaped to Ironforge on her own.
She's been working as a runner at the forges, but has been dreaming of a better life. Her attention was caught by the stories of Cobalt Company and its daring leader, !!JOCOZA SPARKWIRE!! These stories led Glyphe to have herself tested for magical aptitude. Much to her delight, she proved capable of channelling arcane energy and she has devoted herself to the study of magic with the goal of joining Cobalt Company.
